Good morning folks, i lost my 5ers $1 account last night which boss DXYY got me in December last year. I am fully responsible for my faults and action, and I am very sad that not only did I let myself down but I also let down boss DXYY and boss infofirst. @boss DXYY, I still want to appreciate you for giving me the opportunity, it was my first prop account. I simply bleeped up because I was deeply in drawdown, and then I started pyramiding into my trades with the hope of getting out of draw down fast. simply put i wasn't disciplined in my money management. And lately I have been in a serious dilemma, getting into a trade isn't and issue for but getting out has become more of a problem for me due to greed, this has become more of a problem has lately all and I mean all my winning trades end up as losing trades and it's affecting my psych, on Tues, I had a profitable trade on US30 which went down 300 pips, I was so confident that when priced pull back I added another short position which I wanted to swing and hold up till CPI yesterday because I was sure CPI was going to come in strong when I woke up yesterday morning to check the trade not only did it reversed, it my stoploss on both trades. I am having problem setting realistic targets for trades and I think it's all becos of my greed.

@Boss gabsonfx, peteregwu, kaybee, and all other traders here, please how do you guys tackle indiscipline in your trading, pls I in all honesty need your help

The problem is not about losing accounts , as i myself have lost mine since, the question is has the account improved your trading in anyway, and if yes is the answer I say congratulations, cos the truth is, in this Journey we will have to lose more for us to be better, losing accounts responsibly and improving is paramount though , so do not overwork yourself what's gone is gone , thank GOD you were able to identify what you are doing wrong now the challenge is how to fight it.

To trade Solana plays download phantom wallet and fund it, if you don't know how to fund wallet or trade on phantom wallet watch YouTube videos.

In December 2023, I won 5 accounts on X, by swcnd week of January, I lost all the accounts cos I was trading all At the same time.

At that point, I said my mumu don do. I logged out of all social media, including nairaland plus WhatsApp. I made a vow that I will never go on social media again until I cash out.

God gave me a second chance, that same February, I won glow-node account, the rest they say is history.

Prop firms are good way to go provided they r legitimate n do as they advertised. I have done both and if I'm to choose between the two - personal acc and funded acc , I will choose personal account anyday anytime. With prop firm I'm more on pressure trying to abide by the rules. That alone is another headache on its own couple with that of trading itself.
I like trading freely without limits or rules other than my own rules or principles. Don't want to b told what my daily or monthly DrawDown should b. Rather let me determine that myself based on my own trading style.
Hats off to those who r able to manage funded accounts and still make profit abiding by their rules cos its really not easy.
As for me I will always trade my own personal account instead no matter how small. Funded account don't work for me always

Am not saying I can give advice all what am saying is simple why spend your time on prop, I haven't been trading for up to a year but I have passed under the rain so I understand it I have blown my account twice $1k in a day, so I have skin in the game.

Like I said, profirm offers the best solution to people with low capital not only low capital inexperience traders can also see an account to play around with, with limited capital, just think about it your 1k dollars could have bought at least 5 10k account, your funded 200 dollars won't give you 2k , only 2 out of ten times will you do that. At the end of the day you will realize that to make it in this game with peace of mind capital is required emphasis on peace of mind and not staying glued to your screen 24/7 without being able to sleep or do other things, Propfirm offers this, well the major point is wether Propfirm or personal funded account if you know how to trade you can trade both.

Bro don't let me lie to you, it's obvious you know nothing about trading, if you can advise someone to place a trade with 1.7 dollars haba, you said you flipped $14 to 350 this can only happen once or twice out of 10, I have tried both (funding personal account and prop) and I can categorically tell you that people with low capital stands more chance with prop firm than personal account, off course prop firms has its own cons, but if you can make it to funded stage with prop firm you are good to go. I can list the pros and cons for you if you want. I am the kind of person that If I never try something I no they like believe them say

I notice you are scared of losing, I think that's where you need to start from , you are consistent in posting your calls but if you don't start placing them you won't learn much, try and overcome that fear hustle for challenge accounts and starts placing trade , is better to fail and learn than not learn anything with time if it's your strategy you should ditch or make adjustments to you will know after placing so many trades. I have lost so much too but my focus is being better.
