Peaceza: You can start with as low as 500k. (Speaking from personal experience)

Entanglement: because you don't have sure plug and you don't know what's going on!
I pity you people who still think on the surface
quote author=cutieme post=136441030] Chairman how far,you disappeared into the oblivion after you raised hope about Gambia... So you are still there right?[/quote]Sorry about that,
Rapmoney: It seems as if private school owners in Nigeria belong to a secret cult that is hidden from the public, and which is different from the usual private school owners association that we know of. It's as if anyone who opens a school is forced to join this 'evil association' with utmost alacrity. Why do I feel so? There is a laid down pattern which almost everyone of them follows. To suck you, use you and drain the youthfulness out of your soul.
All over the world, July/August is usually a long holiday when teachers take out time to rest, go on vacations or engage in acquiring new skills that could even be outside their field. What we usually observe in Nigeria is different from this. In Nigeria, it is a time where school owners engage teachers in fruitless and vain holiday lesson just to suck money from gullible parents and prevent the teachers from engaging in other endeavours that can improve their lives and wellbeing.
If you're a young person and you work in a private school, I beg you, have different plans for yourself and set targets for the duration you wish to work in the school, if you don't want your life to become wasted. There is no career growth in Nigerian private schools. The highest that will be offered you when you work for 10/12 years is the post of a principal/headmaster/headmistress and with a salary of 70k - 80k. After that, what happens? Of course, you can't be promoted to occupy the school owner's position.
Don't get me wrong. I am not saying that working in a private school is bad. What I am saying is that as a young person, don't stay too long on the job. Lest you waste your life.
Dem say 'dey do am till better job come, dey do am till better job come, na so Brother Okrimona take turn 58 years for inside teaching job.
Nigeria private schools owners are exploiters, very terrible set of people... I taught in Nigeria for many years... I can say it without any apologies 98% of the school owners in Nigeria are wicked...
ogwuche4u: Some people will argue that Peugeot is not good for ehailing business but I always ask them why? All they will say is Toyota is the best with no concrete evidence or fact to prove otherwise. One guy here on nairaland has been using his own for bolt since 2019. The Peugeot 307 has greater fuel efficiency than corrola which translates to more money In your account. Don't just play with routine maintenance and don't manage any spoilt part. This is my lion. I always enjoy the smooth ride.
Thanks a lot, what about the complain about electrical issues? May be I should go for manual?
ogwuche4u: I own a Peugeot 307 and I tell for a fact that corrola doesn't come close to it. In terms of fuel economy, availability of spare parts, the 307 is top much. Nigerians are just wired to Corolla because of how they abuse vehicle. Every car is good. Maintenance is key to enjoying a car. I even laugh more when people compare Toyota to Peugeot 406. Have you asked yourself why they use 406 as pilot 1 for long distance journey? Enough of this Corolla madness.
Please is p307 good for Uber? If yes how much is the tokunbo?
kuonbe: I work hard to raise this money, for house rent. I raised 200plus in February and march. Beofer my mini bus engine got spoil. The money for house rent I used it to get another engine. Now av raised 100plus in 1month betting av finish me. I used to sleep in my mini bus.
Yes, no prob. This is not the end of the world, you will still bounce back. If you only you are alive, if you take your life, your family will move on, but you will go to hell straight, so please be wise NOTE. cutieme: As for me,i teach all science subjects and junior secondary maths.
I feel like helping everyone, but what I can say is that if you guys can drop your CV and credentials I will seriously be of help. But I will make a point clear that the salary is relatively poor only private class is the way out. I was in Niger teaching maths in an a level school at ilupeju Lagos and I was earning even bigger than my current salary but what I make from private class here in Gambia is *4....my Niger salary put together... Let me have your CV please.
MYBUSINESSARENA: pls how do I go about it, I have 8yrs teaching experience
Your course of study is also very important, the salary here is just too meagre but with private study you will make it .I will like to know the subject you can teach before I can help....
Gambia is not bad at all but then sponsoring people for master abroad is not happening here. Am currently in Gambia teaching in the highest paid international school, the take home is not too good , but I make so much I mean so much money from private classes. Anyone that is interested can just let me know.
