cheesy
So sad. That's why most accountants now prefer not to work in a bank. Our lives come first before any work. I believe that greed pushed many of them into banking work, thinking that they will be able to loot billions as far as they got employed. The robbers too can't be blamed. Even the Bible backed them up by claiming that 'whatever your hand findeth to do, do it diligently.' It takes determination to be a robber. It takes courage to rob a bank. It takes biblical understanding to kill your fellow human. The robbers are the real men to me here. Unlike the docile and weaklings that dominates Nigeria. Life is not all about showing empathy, sympathy and unnecessary expression of kindness and RIP's on social media. One of the major characteristics and natural attributes of a man is wickedness. You're never complete without it.

I think he hasn't master the art of 'pickpocketing'.
as a smart 'brethren', you have to be vigilant of your environment - that's ecology of the field, like you need to know if, the security are at alert, camera, escape rout if you are eventually caught, the safest exit point, CCTV cam and it angle and all that. with this you be able to execute 'plan neatly' without all this folks here spitting on you.

And BTW the space between him and the victim is too wide.

Yes, i know their service used to be good, but i have been hearing some negative news about them recently, that was the reason why I asked the question about their present status
Lol. Those negative news were misunderstandings that occurred between them and some former members then. But it didn't change anything in their services. They are the only exchanger that I still use till date o. They still deliver fast as usual.

I still used them two or three days ago. They are my favourite. I've been patronising them since last year and they are very fast in delivery.

Romance / Re: Opinion: It Is Wrong To Reward A Lady Who Stuck With You When You Were Poor by Dynamiq(m): 11:14pm On Jul 13, 2018
safarigirl:
Recently, George Clooney rewarded his friends with a million dollars.

Why did he reward them? Were they doing him a favour being his friends even before he became a big star?

Anyone who stuck to you in your trying times deserves to be rewarded. If you have ever had a period in your life when you were down and you needed someone and the whole world abandoned you, leaving you with just one person who stuck by you, none of you would come here to make such ignorant statement about why men reward the women who stick by them

Do you know their story? Do you know if these women helped them financially? Do you know how many of these men may have been close to suicide and the woman was the only reason they didn't off themselves? People who kill themselves, you think they would have done that if someone listened to them when they were down and gave them hope?

None of you has obviously been down and out, at that point in life that you become a caricature to everyone, including supposed friends and family, because if you have been there, walahi, if you can, you go even buy Banana Island house for the person that held your hand when you were slipping into darkness.

If you know how many girls feed guys in school, you will not come here and ask a question as silly as "Did she do him a favour?" Yes! She fed him when he had no food, she gave him words of encouragement when he had no hope, she stood by him when he had no support. She took insults from friends and colleagues because she was the 'stupid' girl who was following the broke boy

What is a car compared to years of sacrifice and insult? What is the worth of a car? Do you think a car is even enough to repay someone for being the reason why you were even alive to get these riches?

Like I said, let me attribute this talk to common Ignorance. When you are broke and hopeless and only one person has your back, you will understand the men you think are senseless

God bless you, wise and intelligent lady.

I am a gift card exchanger, my Nairaland thread is here : https://www.nairaland.com/3908406/best-farsell-all-itunes-amazon
A first time customer contacted me on the 29th of last month, over three weeks now, He said he saw my thread and that was why he contacted me for business. He sent five iTunes card to me which I redeemed. After sending the cards, the customer became incommunicado without dropping his account number so that I can effect his payment,he has not been online since then till now. The total amount involved is 115,000NGN.

If you are the customer please get in touch with me ASAP, so that I can effect your payment , my contact is on my signature, probably you lost contact with me, I created this thread as a last resort to get to you, since you said, you got my contact on nairaland, fortunately you will get to see this thread. It's rather unfortunate I didn't know anything about you, even your name or moniker here on nairaland and your WhatsApp number ain't going either.

I will be looking forward to hearing from you.
Perhaps you should not have mentioned the amount involved, so that if/when different claimants come up, it would be easier for you to know from the start, who is speaking the truth or not.

Nairaland / General / Re: When Was The Scariest Moment Of Your Life? by Dynamiq(m): 2:18am On Jun 22, 2018
My scariest moment was my second experience with armed robbers, way back in December 2000. Location: Ughelli, Delta State.
I joined a Chisco Bus from Port Harcourt to Lagos. The bus, in a convoy with two others, started the journey at around 10pm at night on a Friday. By around 1 or 2am just after we crossed a small bridge, the bus suddenly stopped and next thing was that we saw many men emerging from the bush, flashing their torches at the bus and ordering us to disembark. The driver of our bus quickly opened his own door and somehow managed to escape into the bush. Meanwhile, someone among us, who was at the front of the bus, switched off the lights of the bus and the whole bus interior went dark. I don't know why he did so. Everybody was hesitating to be the first to step out of the bus. This enraged the robbers outside and at that moment they began to fire upon the glasses of the bus. It was then we realised that they were well armed because they were spraying on the glasses of the bus. We were all lying down in the bus by that time and the shattered glasses were falling on our body. By that time the ladies among us had began to cry, begging that we should all begin to do whatever the robbers asked us to do. Suddenly, the robbers started stepping into the bus, forcefully pushing us out and asking us to lie flat on the road. I was the third or fourth to be pulled out and the robber pulling me out slapped me so hard that my head hit the body of the bus and I felt momentarily dizzy. Then things began to get worse: suddenly one or two of the robbers started shooting sporadically at the other end of the bus and we heard a sound or two on the ground. Then, we heard the steps of whoever did the shooting, coming to our direction. Next thing was that the the men approaching ordered about seven of us, all men, to stand up. When we stood up, they lined us up and the two men positioned themselves, pointing their rifles at us. I closed my eyes thinking it was the end when suddenly, one of the robbers; the only one speaking plain English among them (the others were speaking pidgin English), told them not to shoot us. Then an argument ensued among them. The one that was saying we should not be shot seemed to have some authority but nevertheless, most of the others, who had now joined them were we were lined up, were against his no-shoot order, arguing to our hearing that the soft spoken guy killed people during their last operation but that now he didn't want them to do their own killing. This was my scariest moment as we listened as these men argued for about five minutes about whether we should be killed or not. I didn't even know whether I prayed at that moment or not. So many things went through my mind as we awaited their decision.
At the end, the 'no-shoot guy' had his way and we were spared and told to lie down on the road again while the robbers ransacked the bus.
Eventually they disappeared into the bush. We didn't even know how they melted into the bush. We latter learnt that nobody was killed and that the shootings earlier done at the other end of the bus might have been to further terrify us. Only one man, a naval officer, was injured and bleeding on the head and a few guys who were badly beaten by the robbers. We decided to wait near that locality before continuing the journey next day.
But in many ways it could have been a lot worse. Some people living in that area latter told us that armed robbers were very active on that particular road; that they regularly waylaid buses, killing passengers and that they actually killed some travelers on that same spot a week earlier.
When we eventually got to Lagos later the next day, our bus was a sight to behold as people marvelled at the bullet-riddled glasses of the bus.

You need not comment on every thread. Part of good manners is the ability to say nothing if one has nothing useful, positive or sensible to say. Even if you are suffering from a head ailment, you need not display your illness in a public forum.

The irony is that humans are the most demon possessed creature right from creation..do you know how many demons were chased away by Christ?? Even the pigs they love to eat was also possessed by demons in the Bible....
Lol. In fact, cats are saints when compared to humans. Humans have done much more harm to the planet than any other creature. Yet no record of anything bad cats have done to the planet, except for labelings based on mere superstitions.
