Great news! That means our mortality rate is lower than the expected. |

This is inhuman, does this state have a government? ![]() |
asadike: ndi imo umu nnem, pls choose wisely,as 4 me sha,ma rochas, ma ihedioha, ohakim o ma madam na aku di ya ihe acordin to rochas, reject them al and luk 4 a credible person and put there. Its time we move forward in igbo land |
Gboliwe: If he is from Arochukwu, let him go and sit down and allow the short Ngwa people to rule abi lead Abia state for once! Damn! Why are some people so greedy? Is the state for only the people of a certain part? Kai! We haven't had anything good since that part of the people have been in authority. He seems to be a technocrat. If you Abians allow clanish sentiments to further set you back into the dark ages na una sabi. |
![]() Instead of you to spend time sensitizing your fellow Abians on how not to repeat the greatest mistake of their lives. You are here trying to make ice out of fire. 2015 is around the corner if you guys like you can vote in another failure that will continue to loot your state. This moronic Ochendo is now showing interest in senatorial seat and some brainless oafs are cheering him on. Tufiakwa! |
suwailad: why are they attacking chukwu when the main culprit is GEJ? these guys are damn cluelessWho do you think signed the memo, it was the permanent secretary on behalf of the dishonourable minister. Besides GEJ knows nothing about the details of residency training, it is the minister's advice that will guide him. |
chrisbaba1: [size=15pt]That does not look like a bomb though. IED are usually much larger and concealed. Maybe its just one hausa boy who doesnt understand english ![]()

Why all the misplaced animosity on USA? I really don't get it, every nation has her interest at heart, including the US, they are not going to spoon feed Nigeria. |
Nigeria will remain a joke until any Nigerian from anywhere can become governor or LGA chairman anywhere he wishes. If we cannot have this degree of integration then what is the use of calling ourselves a country? If one possesses the right qualities of leadership and gets the votes he should by all means rule. |
Crap. First a misleading headline that was later corrected. Then a badly done Photoshop. Rubbish. |
Absolutely YES! The moniker of any such persons should be banned for life and the IP address too. It is the sickest thing anyone can do. |
Seeing is believing. Here has laid too many unprogressive foundations. |
Nooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!! ![]() Anyway it is only sidetaks from an irrelevant agency in such issues. |
cjrane: Having posted the above,The ANIDS program by Obi actually brought into use hundreds of taxis similar to coal city cab, you might even mistake the two. Anambra's governance needs are a bit unique and i guess Obi took a gamble and decided to focus on a holistic state development with more interest in commerce and industry. He scored good in rural roads, agric, oil, industry, financial and fiscal policies. Anambra is still the most holistically developed state in SE. He however, scored poorly in urban development. He deemphasized Awka and Onitsha, the major cities. Which are often the glaring places a visitor would look. I still believe he should have done more for the capital considering his claims thàt the state earnings were high. I am afraid for Enugu's future because what Enugu needs is someone who is even better than Chime to handle that state and such people are not many. I also do not know how poised the populace is to "shout down or unseat" any charlatan who may mistakenly get in their. Especially as Enugu's present population (Enugu city) has become increasingly diverse with indegenes perhaps even in the minority. I wonder if all voices will be equally heard. A non performing governor will have the tendency to tow unhealthy clannish lines. I really hope that Enugu's next governor will have a cosmopolitan agenda just like Sullivan. Sullivan's largely cosmopolitan approach and openness is what has really helped Enugu. |
Good for us we do not know who is who. |
Candyrain: . If Nigeria can go through this time of ebola without them then they can be told to "go and die".All the doctors that volunteered to help are members of NMA. |
iwonbaoko: We are not illiterates here. Whether it kills bacteria, virus or cockroaches depends on what substance/chemical is being dispensed. It could contain anything from water, to 90% alcohol (which is effective against viruses. Whether it has any effect on viruses depends on WHAT is loaded into the dispenser.Thank you so much!!!! Ebola threads bring out the highest degree of ignorance on nairalanders. |
bigboss80s: This is getting ridiculous. It is becoming increasingly clear that someone is trying to disgrace/discredit the Nigerian Army. How can the Chadian army which is terribly underfunded and poorly equipped rescue abducted people and then boko haram took off? We also heard about the laughable story of Cameroonian forces rescuing a kidnapped General's wife a day or so after she was kidnapped. Yes we all know there are saboteurs and all in the Nigerian Army but unless the entire Nigerian Army are co-conspirators, they cannot be as incompetent as they are being made to look. And boko haram are not as weak as they want us to believe. This is the same boko haram that took over a whole town and pushed back NA forces with tanks. This whole thing smacks of deceit.I am so happy there are reasonable people left in this country. |
Even Tinubu knows that Lagos is no man's land ![]() |
kmariko: The grass does not need to be removed from there ..actually it is supposed to grow from those spaces both for erosion control and above all aesthetics. Give it a few years and see the beautiful greenery on the slopes. If that is the case maybe they should deliberately plant a particular species for that purpose. |
EbolaParasite: Nigerians sha with una over sabi. Everybody be Ebola expert. You honestly think in your mind that somebody that just recovered from EBOLA will be discharged without testing. Come on now. No make i vex for you oo. This aint Guinea, Liberia or Congo. This is NIGERIA. We no bad like that.Ebola sorry oh. I just expressed my opinion. I know that men may remain infective for up to 7 weeks via their seminal fluid. Considering she is a woman, this may not apply, I was only expressing my worry. |

swing4real: Why the shame on Obama? Obama or America owes us NOTHING. I repeat NOTHING. Let's stop this attitude of sitting down and expecting help from Heaven or from some one else. We are being mentally lazy if we do so.Finally a breath of fresh air. |
Segirl18: Satan, Shame unto you!!! Shame! Shame! Shame to d anti-christ called OBAMA....He is indeed a disgrace to Africans.Hiaa! Please put a lid on it.
|
Why is there sooooooo much ignorance in every Ebola thread? ![]() |
ayusco85: please tell me how that is my business? am a nigerian not a Liberian or guineanReally? ![]() |
This is great news!!!! But I hope she was tested before discharge. This brings so much hope and a lesson for all. The earlier one presents as a contact the better chances of survival. |
