Way to go.

I notice that a dumpster is already in place even though the place is still under development.

Being the only black person on a long haul flight in a fully booked Boeing 777 flight was a funny experience.
When you get up to ease yourself you get that "oh boy you miss road" stares.
Have you been in a big city in one of those far flung places where a black person stands out like a stump?
Can be very unsettling till you just try and get used to it.

Sunshinelady: . Even wit all dese long epistle, u pple can't treat ebola (or at least maintain it like ur counterparts abroad), mortality rate in hospitals especially durin childbirth keep increasin (dats y most rich ppl travel out for their child delivery), even common organ transplant dats rampart in other countries una no sabi, so wats d use of all dese ..bla bla..u did 5yrs here, 20yrs here ..etc. We need practical thins, we need to see d effect of dis u pple's 'superiority complex', we r not seein it. I don't knw ..I don't want to beliv dis is like..empty vessels makin too much noise..I don't. But somtimes too much words aint necessary, d best way to xpress self worth, is by being practically effective, u pple are so lettin us down
Crap

Mortality for booked cases in tertiary hospitals where residency training is done is close to zero in some centers.

Most Obs mortality are from unbooked cases that have been mismanaged by traditional birth attendants and midwives who now present late to the hospital.

Everyone knows why people spend money to go abroad to give birth- citizenship.

The rest of what you wrote is irredeemably off point.

Gaggi: My septuagenarian dad doesn't know the road to the hospitals. A masters degree holder he has helped more people than most doctors have. With his chinese herbs and library lot's of his friends have been successfully managed ailments from prostrate to diabetes and he does it for free too.
I appreciate docs, like I appreciate all professionals. The young docs being trained these days hardly know their left from their right. Medicine is not a profession to make money. Try politics or geo science.

Gaggi: Funny when our docs compare themselves with foreign docs. Docs dat only knw how to treat malaria and typhoid. Pharmacist and chemist guys make more impact on the lives of the masses.
Pay is poor in most sectors of the economy. Why do these doctors think they are special? There are foreign doctors with all the qualifications and skills who leave their countries and come and work in African villages. That is selflessness and dedication to duty. Medicine is a noble profession but these quacks have a false sense of entitlement.
If you want to make money go and be an entrepreneur. Lot's of doctors earn less than 100k in d private sector and they haven't died. This is d same country where masters holders earn a paltry 18k minimum wage.

prettyprettywow: i thought your leaders said we have 47,000 Drs? how come they are now 30,000?
Some have died
Some have retired
Some (a very significant number) are out if the country.
HealthRe: NMA Dares Jonathan - Asks Resident Doctors To Reject Sack Letters by eaglechild: 8:28pm On Aug 15, 2014
MT: I have been following this development with keen interest. As much as I am not a Jonathan person, I am fully supportive of his actions. Its not like we have Medical doctors in Nigeria since the strike action commenced. The doctors intentionally drag themselves in the mud and now the FG will cut them to sizes. This will end badly for the doctors, mark it.
Someone has spent time trying to explain what residency program is.

Please do well to read it and then you will realise how futile the step taken by the FG is.
PoliticsRe: FG Plans Free Trade Zone For Enugu by eaglechild: 7:22pm On Aug 15, 2014
capricon: I don't agree. If u wait for fg to dualize any road do u know how long it will take?

That ninth mile Obollo road is in use already.
Enugu state is positioned to be a good distribution center for goods to the north and east and even to cameroon.

Let's not wait but grab this opportunity with both hands
What I mean is that how can you trust the govt to deliver on a FTZ when the infrastructure to make it a success is lacking.

Good access roads and rail are extremely important for an inland FTZ.
PoliticsRe: David Oyedepo Reportedly Barred From The UK – TODAY by eaglechild:
Separation of church and state is practiced "religiously" in some climes.

And this gives them a totally different interpretation of what church "donations" mean.

In a case where it is not somehow ploughed back to charity, schools, hospitals or maintenance of clergy it raises a red flag.
