freecocoa:My dear, the past is past. What good will it do for me trying to find out about wifey's past. I married my woman for whom she is, and not for her past. I confessed my own past to her, knowing I wasn't going back to such life again. And she equally told me some of hers. . "I don't care what happens now or in future, but I have taken that vow of FIDELITY on the altar of God. I pray that His grace will be sufficient for me to remain FAITHFUL as I have vowed. It doesn't matter what my have done or may do, what matters is me being FAITHFUL TO MY VOWS TILL DEATH DO US PART." She has her own role to play. . So, I still tell you, Untill Marriage both Party does not owe a drop of FIDELITY to each other. If she wants to tell, let her tell. But she is an adult and should be responsible for her actions. |
Orkpekyandega:I am not in support of what the man did, but I still stand on what I say. Which is, aside the CONFINES OF MARRIAGE the man or woman owes nobody any FIDELITY. Any good marriage Counsellor will tell you that. I once asked a marriage counsellor if it doesn't amount to great sin, if after training a girl through school she breaks up with you and marries another. Knowing fully well that you put her through school because you want her hand marriage. Or If he a man tells a girl to wait for him for a number of years that he will marry her, and after the waiting the man marries another. Is it not a grave sin. . I was surprised when he answered me and said, "In both cases, they only owe each other THANK YOU". . It doesn't matter how long we debate this, the man in question owes this OP no FIDELITY cos they ain't married. . On a final note, women should learn to close their legs or live with the outcome of opening their legs. Men equally need to keep their purse or live with the outcome of parting with their man. . Untill that day that you both takes your vows, no one owes another FIDELITY. It's the bitter truth. |
kandiikane:Am seriously laughing at this quote. Chai. So, a man came to you and sweet talked you and you fell for his charms. But in all that 'I love you, pass my mama' he didn't deem it fit to use your picture as his DP. Not even once for two whole years. 24 Months. His sister got married, and this same man couldn't ask you to come and chop rice, at least. Hmmmmmm. I truely believe women should stick together, because men are doing the cheating with fellow men. |
Orkpekyandega:I was really nodding my head at your post untill I got to the bolded. Pray tell, DID THE YOUNG MAN MAKE ANY VOWS? And why will you wish that his wife will take another man's rod in the confines of marriage? Or do you think that his so called fiancee has remained 'faithful' for that 7 odd years? . Let's be realistic. The guy was playing the field. It is called SEARCHING FOR A WIFE for a reason. |
merbenko:Thank you. It's only Marrital Vows on the altar of God or in a law court or Customarily that will demand that a man or woman should be FAITHFUL to one partner. Anything outside that is rubbish. I learnt that from Series of Counselling on Marriage and also my marriage class. NL singles listen carefully, 20 years relationship/courtship does not equal 1 week marriage. Even a day to taking those vows, a man or woman can opt out of that relationship. It is only in Marriage that you are required to be FAITHFUL to one partner. |
goodgate:The bolded FALLACY OF GENERALISATION. |
poseidon12:What will she gain Another woman's tears (misery loves company). And you think she didn't see any sign in the two years relationship? It's called Courtship for a reason. The guy or girl in a non-marrital relationship owes themselves no FIDELITY. Ask any marriage counsellor. The guy/girl didn't take any vows to remain Faithful, forsaken all others. That is the bitter truth. |
freecocoa:My dear, both have sinned, and it's only God that decides what punishment to mete out to them not for us humans. Having said that, I will proceed to the OP. . As a single guy I started by dating one girl at a time. Being 'faithful' and all. I am not a saint, but I met with a series of disappointment. Then I switched to dating twos at a time, but still was the good guy. Yet some more disappointment. Can you believe that it was only when I became the 'player' that the game changed in my favor. There was a particular time I had about 4 girls and some who were all eager to be wifed. But thank God that I am now married and I can boldly tell you all that I have reverted to my former self and have confessed all my past sins to my wife. I am still that Faithful and honest guy that I was. So why this boring tale; there might be reasons why your ex did what he did. Telling on him may or may not change his present relationship. And don't hope on Karma, cos it might equally visit you. |
Buhari's body language Earlier this morning we were told it was Buhari's Intergrity that helped the power sector..... Ok ohh. Kontinuu. |
Olufemiolaolu:Learn not to insult. |
dunkem21:
You know, I actually love this thread. I think Change is coming to NL.
What a day it will be, that we all agree to disagree in the Politics section.
Goodmorning All. |
patrickmuf:Aww. That's nice. Do have a lovely day too. |
PassingShot:Damn........What was I thinking. Of course you will rather reserve those 'flattering adulation' for the likes of GEJ. |
patrickmuf:Yes. That's more like it. You can't help.......kapish. |
dunkem21:He will be right if he says so, because the thread is about BUHARIs INTERGRITY at work. . You know, how you see sign post saying "taxpayers money at work". Yes something like that......."Buhari's Intergrity at work". |
patrickmuf:Nigerians are neither gullible nor slow. Actually it is Lai Mohammed who wants to put Nigerians in that category. By telling us all tha BABAs INTERGRITY is at work, and we should all hope on that same INTERGRITY to perform future wonders in God's own earth. |
dunkem21:Why you dey laugh. I know Aregbesola is not the president, but can't Passingshot shower him with such encomium. |
PassingShot:Hey yiiiiii!!!! Oga, but this thread is about Buhari's intergrity making the power sector to operate above average. At least above what was seen in the last administration. (According to Lai M.) Why can't baba's INTERGRITY #BBOG ![]() Or, does baba's INTERGRITY have limited power? |
PassingShot:. What a glorious day it will be the day I will read your post describing Aregbesola in this lovely terms. |
dunkem21:Oga, I no get energy for wahala |
dunkem21:Buhari's Intergrity should #BBOG |
Please SAI BABAs INTERGRITY should #BBOG . . Hope tomorrow someone will not claim that Buhari worked. Let all glory go to SAI BABAs INTERGRITY |
We claim to practise capitalism. But government has its hand in every pie. Was this not the same Subsidy that GEJ wanted to remove before the #occupyNigeria movement sprang up? Had it been it was removed that time won't the market forces have regulated the price of petroleum product? I know someone will come up and tell me that we didn't have certain things in place to remove it then. My arguement as always will be have we now put those things in place? #occupynigeria & #bbog were really used to decieve the gullible ones. Say what your must, GEJs sins would ve been overlooked had it been he was from certain region in this country. . For the avoidance of doubt, I am all for subsidy removal. Because I believe that government cannot sustain it for long and moreover I believe the market forces should be aloud to play its hand. NB I have been buying pms for #110 a litre. How much higher can it go and how much longer before the forces of demand and supply comes into play if subsidy is removed. |
His immunity from prosecution ended on 29/5/2015. Why was he filing papers in court to stop the government from probing? We are busy shouting ourselves hoarse, that PMB should probe GEJ. Yet, pro-APC will not want anyone asking questions about their ex governors. I am for probe and accountability, and if GEJ, OBJ, Ameachi, Fashola etc is found wanting they should face the music. Why are we even having 'sacred cows' in this day and age? Why? |
GudluckIBB:#50Million for EXPRESSION OF INTEREST. |
Sai Baba!!! Proudly 5% No Regret. Moreover, You Owe Me Nothing. |
eme1n:best reply. |
Pavore9:They should simply rename the state to Abubakar State. |
seunmsg:Very mischievous and misleading title. |

Either CNN or other foreign media are lying or Nigerian Army is lying. |
