The military is a family. Soldiers, whether retired or still serving do not maltreat one another. If Buhari's certificate is with the Nigerian army, serving soldiers would have since fished it out and return it to Buhari.

By the way, what stops Buhari from requesting for a copy of his certificate from the body that awarded it to him - if he truly seat for secondary school leaving certificate?

Truth is that :
1, Buhari did not complete secondary school, did not take WASC exam, but rushed to join the army with a testimonial from a school principal; OBJ more or less confirmed that with his {even if Buhari did not have WASC... }

2, Buhari knew he had no WASC when he deposed on oath that his certificate was with the military board.

Perjury as you say is telling a delibrate lie under oath. Buhari stated that his WASC result was woth the military as the original copy was submitted to them. All military personnel submit the original copy of their credentials and if Buhari did, the problem is with the military who may have been arm twisted into dabbling into political matters and with Buhari for not requesting a new one from Cambridge. APC shouldn't have fielded him, he has too many controversies.

APC with their Chicago FORGER, brought a nonsens statement of result, when we asked for a certificate? Is it too much for a presidential candidate to do, to clear the airs for Nigerians. Whether he wins or not.

What is there to clarify? Many past military top shots like Gen. Alani Akinrinade and IBB have said they were required to submit their certificates then (copy or original, I'm not sure) which Buhari must have submitted. It's GEJ/PDP's desperation to prevent him that made them ask the military to remove his certificate from his file. I HAVE NO DOUBT ABOUT THIS.

He didn't commit any perjury. If you analyze critically how PDP has gone about the whole drama, you'd understand that the certificate in question was removed from his file to create the storm.

I want to believe that Buhari is not daft to say the military board had his certificate if he didn't submit one there.

Very true.. I have never seen were any of those international media houses asked buhari about his educational background or his certificates because it doesn't just make any sense to them. Buhari doesn't have his secondary school certificate and yet he rose to the rank of a military general

Even Gej minister of defence has stated clearly that he and buhari attended the same secondary school. PDP has failed Nigerians, and no amount of lies and propaganda can save them from the disgrace they will face on march 28. They may have successfully sold this absurdity of a lie to their dumb followers who are swimming in the pool of gullibility, but the sane Nigerians will never buy this crooked lie by the PDP.
