I don't know if I am just lucky or something. I come here and read about marriage wahala. Offline people tell me stories that touch the heart about their relationships and marriages.
Yes, I had my fair share of heartbreaks as a bachelor. But in almost all my relationships, I never witnessed violence or a shouting match.

I have come to realize that when you put yourself in your partner's shoe you tend to understand your partner. You are then able to reason from her point of view.

Also when a partner tries to take me for a fool, I will allow her. But after it all, I will let her know that I know I have been taking for a fool.

Most times when things are about to heat up, I take a walk outside. If my partner wouldn't allow me to walk out on her (as one once did) I just switch off. No matter how loud her voice may be, I will no longer be able to hear her.

Why can't men understand that there wives and kids are their first responsibility?
Why can't they understand that they need to first make their homes conducive before thinking of pleasing outsiders (be it parents or inlaws)?
Why will they allow someone else to push them around or disrespect their wives?

I was made to understand that everybody in a man's family will not accept his wife, but the onus lies on the man to make these types to at least respect their wives. I can't think or a reason why anyone in my family will disrespect my wife so openly that she will have to come to me to vent her anger and frustration on me.
If that were to happen, such family member will be put on further notice. No communication. No visits. Nothing.

Nigerians should rise with one voice and condemn Boko Haram. But we will rather, politicize it and keep going in cycles.

Fashola may not be in the president's camp, he may not even like the president. But he understands the Law or Respect, which states that it's Reciprocal.
Who knows, Fashola may one day be our president and he will surely not please all people of Nigeria. But definitely, he will want to be respected.
Not like our Mr Integrity, who likes playing the Ostrich. Or Mr Amaechi, who thinks that the office of the Governor of Rivers State has to be respected, while he blatantly disrespects the Office of the President.

My brother, the simple truth is that many people (at least those online) would want to see General Buhari lay this certificate saga to rest by petitioning Cambridge and allow the revered institution publish his result. Then and only the will most haters look for another thing to stain Buhari with.
But if APC believes they can wish away this Certificate scandal before the election date proper, I will only say goodluck to them in trying.
And even if Buhari wins, the certificate issue will still trail his administration.

Assuming for the sake of argument that you are right, it wouldn't surprise so many Nigerians because Jonathan has never claimed to be a saint.
But Buhari, takes so much pride in his incorruptible nature, which is now being called to question.

The way I see it, Jonathan has never laid any claims to being Mr Integrity. But Integrity and Uprightness has always been the hallmark of General Buhari.
Unfortunately, Nigerians are calling Buhari's integrity to question.

Buhari's integrity is being called to question. If Buhari can swear an affidavit that he has what he does not have (O' Level qualification), how many other things is Mr Integrity not telling Nigerians?
GEJ can not be put to such scrutiny, because we all know that he has never claimed to be saintly. Infact he has even told Nigerians that he cannot differentiate between stealing and corruption. (remember; "stealing is not corruption).
But here Buhari has only one major selling point. His incorruptible nature. If Mr Incorruptible can lie on oath; if Mr Incorruptible's friend can forge a statement of result........... What other things are Mr Incorruptible capable of doing?
Should we all go blind, because APC do not see the sham called Mr Incorruptible?
Should Nigerians just accept anything Mr Incorruptible and his other co travellers in APC tell us, without questions?
These are the questions begging for answers, and not just APC yelling "go to court".
Buhari is in the public court, and he should come forth and redeem himself.
