mrkunlex: do you know that igbo were the one that caused the pogrom In 40 years time from now, someone will ask, "Do you know the people of Benue State caused all these killings?" Like I stated up there, Nigeria and Nigerians like playing the Ostrich until death comes to their door steps. It's Good Morning to Benue people . |

mrkunlex: what you are trying to say is that the biafran soldiers didn't kill any nigerians then abi. Oga, I am not talking about the War proper. There was nothing like biafra when the Pogrom took place. Biafra, was almost a direct result of the pogrom and the failure of the Federal government to honor the Aburi Accord. I stated somewhere in this thread, that you should update yourself with the account of the Pogrom before the war. Just google the Nigerian Pogrom. I don't think there has been any other. |

mrkunlex: some of the people there now are not the one that carried out the barbaric act, let's have feeling for human Of course, I have human feelings. And not justifying the killings. But you must understand, that Nigeria has so much blood on its hands and the people in it continue to play the Ostrich until it gets to them. Some of us were against Buhari, because of his antecedent as a military head of state. But because of Nepotism and tribalism, the people of the middle belt, thinks BUHARI will favor them more. And I am particularly happy that Gown and TY danjuma are alive to witness all these atrocities being committed by Buhari's people the Fulanis |

mrkunlex: i think the meaning of pogrom in my own view is a massacre/killing done to eliminate people bcuz of race/religion.cn you tell me why you termed it pogrom The major reason the Igbos, were ready to fight in that war of 1967-1970, was that after the counter coup a deadly Pogrom (killing of people from the eastern region) followed suit. It was no longer the killings of the Igbos in the armed forces, but the killings of Igbos in general including pregnant women and their unborn babies. I don't want to go into argument with you. But try and read up events before the secession proper. The funny thing was that the people of the middle belt participated fully in these killings. Anybody who wants demonize the Igbos for their comments on what is happening now in Benue and the rest of the middle belt can go ahead. But it is Good Morning to them at the moment. |

mrkunlex: you made me laugh @bold, you know it is a war and the southeast you are talking about if they have the chance to do such things, i know they will do more than that.both parties are looking for every means to conquer there enemy.#firetofire The pogrom, wasn't a war. I'm really not here to debate about who would have killed more or not. You can easily call what is happening in Benue today as 'war' in the next 40 years. |

enlady: I am not from Benue state. I speak for the killings because I have not lost my humanity. I know omenkalives around here. I believe he is an impostor Good. I equally have not lost my humanity. But truth is like a pregnant lady, you cannot cover it with hands. The Igbos, you think that have lost their humanity are only being human. Nigeria cannot wish away what happened in 1967-1970. The Pogrom The senseless killings of people from the South East The needless starvation of millions of Biafran children. You can't wish that away. NB As for Benue state, they should man up and face their demons or watch helplessly as they are decimated. |

enlady: I weep for our people in the middle belt. Its very painful. We are losing our people, entire communities to this mindless killings. As for Igbos on this thread wishing evil on the middle belt your minds are simply horrible. The generation of youths growing in the middle belt today do not hate you, we are not our fathers. We refuse to accept blame for the sins of our fathers. I have always viewed issues about the South East with compassion due to perceived marginalisation. However most of you are outright heartless! I always choose to read silently when it concerns Benue and the middle belt. But I am forced to reply you. Let me ask you if you are aware of the NL name Omenka/Omenkalives.... search for it and read his coments..... as for paying for the sins of your fathers, my dear Karma serves everyone the dish he or she deserves. |

Properties › Re: Who Should We Obey In This Case, The Landlord Or The Wife? by eagleeye2: 6:42pm On Apr 20, 2018 |
HeavenIsSoReall: Pls Lawyers in the house I need your advice here.
Our Landlord and the wife have been fighting for whose account the tenancy fees should be paid into. We paid the initial money to the landlord and packed in, our first tenancy renewal was also paid to the landlord but now, the wife came up with an order that no tenant should pay into the landlord's account again, she warned us seriously that every payment should be made into her personal account which she sent to every tenant.
The landlord in the other hand is also threatening us not listen to his wife unless we want to pay double. One of the tenants that paid into the landlord's account has been asked to vacate his apartment by the Landlady.
Both the Landlord and his wife are claiming ownership of the house but some elders around told us that the house belongs to the Landlady. Right now we're confused on what to do. Pls I need matured contribution(s) thank you. Did you sign a tenancy agreement prior to taking up the apartment? If yes. Then, who so ever is represented as the landlord in the tenancy agreement is the person you should pay. Because that is the person with the legal backing to issue you Notice to quit. |

Whereby mediocrity is celebrated over excellence the only result is backwardness and running around the circle while the rest of the world makes progress. Exactly. The very reason why, a Professor of Law will be the vice president while the NEPA bill certificate holder is the president. Throwback: I have no problem with scrapping of quota system that exist with employment.
But a federal unity school is by the very purpose of it a quota enabled education system that has been conceived for the sole purpose of bringing diverse Nigerian kids together.
Southerners should stop lamenting over their own high admission cut off within their own states, as their competition to get into those schools is limited to candidates of that state alone who are all competing to fill up slots that have been allocated to their state.
The Zamfara students are also competing to fill up slots that have been assigned to their own states too, hence the very low marks there as there really is no competition. The rest of the slots OWNED by Zamfara will still end up being redistributed among states who have already filled their OWN allocated slots too.
Anyone who is not satisfied or interested with the federal unity schools should apply to the litany of state public schools and private schools that do not enjoy the federal subsidy enjoyed by the federal unity schools, and move on with their lives without the misplaced bitterness exhibited every admission cycle. The same ideology behind federal unity schools, is the same one with NYSC... and how has Nigeria fared so far? We are just sacrificing merits on the alter of quota system, and that is why we will keep running in cycles. |

Throwback: Which will result in low cutoff marks as most of the candidates will not even score so high and do not even tally up to the total slots allocatable to Zamfara, resulting in an inability to fulfill their allocated admission slots in the quota system.
But some greedy souls would still be looking over their own fence and lamenting as to why their own state had to have such high cut off marks while Zamfara has very low marks, labelling it as marginalization as though their own states do not already have their allocated slots that is guaranteed within the quota system. Scrap quota system, and watch this country thrive on merit. |
