letusbepieces:Soon, someone will come to shout "unity, unity, and unity " What's the unity in neglecting south eastern part of Nigeria, diverting all revenues derived from the area into building a railway and developing the empty Sahara ![]() |
The eastern corridor of the Nigerian railway needs to be completed and operational before wasting resources connecting Buhari's ancestral home land in the Sahara desert to Nigeria. Another evidence of nepotism! |
Unity with who? |
After trillions and trillions of budgeting for arms, you just suddenly want us to use spiritual power now? |
Transfer the capital from Katsina to Daura! |
YorubaHero12:Good point. Unfortunately, or fortunately, you're not Yoruba Muslim. Otherwise, you will not be making good points. |
Hell no.! They can't do that to us. What's our yoruba muslims who think that they are more religious than the saudis themselves going to do? MURIC will be out of job. |
Do you know what this really means ![]() The life of all Christians in the state is in danger, because it will be easy to accuse any one of them of the sin! Meanwhile the governor is overseas drinking beer and playing with prostituuuuutes. |
After thought condemnation! This type of human enslavement is what Buhari is all about-unequal justice, unequally! |
Sad day! |
nairalandposter:Yes oh. Those giant suction machines will clean it up in 2 minutes, but I guess it will not give Igbokwe the publicity he's looking for. |
Kano-Katsina road traffic is less than half of Enugu- Onitsha road. Which one should be a priority in a normal society? |
^^^ Good point |
Tmania:I am a constituent of senator Ekweremadu from Anike area of Awgu local government area. Here is a partial list of uncompleted/abandoned projects I know personally: 1. Ugwueme-Nenwenta-Obeagu road. More than 100 million naira budgeted, less than 1 mile excavation work done at Obeagu end of the road, instead of the Ugwueme end as stipulated in contract. 2. Nenwenta access road 3. Awgu-Ugwueme-Isuochi road---contract has been budgeted, and awarded many times with nothing to show for it. What happens to the fund? The Anambra Imo river basin authority sponsoring this project had devised a clever method of not doing work, and getting a few corrupt individuals to sign off that the project has been completed. 4. Ugwueme rural electricity project--uncompleted. Abandoned with a few electric poles to show for it. It was never powered. 5. Ugwueme rural water supply scheme---this project was the most tragic, because after destroying the communities natural water supply system, the construction produced water for less than 1 week. 6. Awgu Oji river road---partially done The Anike/Ugwueme area of Awgu voted massively for Ekweremadu, everytime, but they always got the short end of the stick, because the senator and Rep Toby Okechukwu insisted on working with the illiterate and corrupt individuals claiming to represent the communities. Ekweremadu knows how to supervise his own constituency projects, like the road leading to his own home tome along Oduma/Mpu areas of Awgu, why does he rely on corrupt and hungry community leaders to tell him that these projects have or have not been completed? I make this assertion, because that has been his excuse all along. If you collected 500 milion naira from the FG for a project, and you claim ignorance of the work status, because a few people signed off on the project after collect a bag of rice? Come on! Please before coming to post verifiably false information on Nairaland, understand that you will be attacked with facts and figures. Our people are crying, dying, and you have time for publicity stunt? Shame on you, Ekweremadu, and Toby Okechukwu. |
joinnow:That's another problem with this unfavorable federal system: it's punishing southerners from every direction. So-called federal roads in name only! They know that we have more rain in the south, the roads are more liable to damage, yet they insist of allocating more money for dry northern roads. |
This speech is why Buhari is dangerous. Nigerians would be asking which country was he referring to? |
Mrsheff:Or find whitener for Tinubu teeth! |
Instead of training 3 or 4 surgeons, and then have them take care of everything over a period of time. God, why do we go backwards in Africa ![]() |
Royalfurnitures:Detribalised? No, he was not, despite marrying an Igbo woman. Instead, he wanted to prove to Fulani people that he was one of them, eager and most willing to do whatever they told him. IBB even claimed Fulani heritage, before Sanusi told him, "no, you're not" All of them who had the opportunity to move this country forward, but instead saw Igbos as enemy #1 always regret after leaving office. IBB, the evil maradona set out to perpetrate the civil war, and he's just now waking up? |
Take your money and run, that's a dangerous company run by illiterate or half educated people who will treat you worse in the future. |
How do you direct that thunderstorm to Enugu, please. |
Igbos survived Babangida's victimization, they too will survive Buhari! Iseeeee hhh! |
When a bad teacher couldn't teach they blame students. When an unqualified doctor couldn't heal they blame patients. When a police system is in effective, they blame many unsolved crimes on the people. ...and when a complex society like Nigeria caries out for a leader; demented, and uneducated, backward thinking tribal warlords like Buhari jump out to claim the throne, and then have paid agents like @poster come here to absolve the same man who promised to solve our problems of all sins of not being able to perform. From the economy, to security, to taking more than 6 months to get ministers working, to nepotism/corruption, this president is worse than a failure. You seen why we h ave no hope as country? On the average, Nigerians are much easier to rule than say American, Europeans, or the Chinese, we just want basic things, not even much. |
Buhari has problems closing Benin Nigerian boarder, but leaves the entire northern boarders open for illegal herdsmen from everywhere. According to Fulani tradition, there is no boarder between nations from Senegal to Chad. https://www.nairaland.com/5420002/fulani-herdsmen-chad-niger-benefit Somethings don't make sense. |
