Politics › Re: RE: A More ABSOLUTELY Convincing Evidence To Show Gowon Released Chief Awolowo by eagleu: 2:38am On Nov 30, 2019 |
LegendHero: Well you should stop racing against time and stop confusing yourself.
@the first bolded, The video circulating shouting people carrying placards with Tinubu’s mom name was when Awolowo first appeared on the street of Lagos (after coming out of prison) on his way to the national conference convened by Gowon. She never said she had a hand in releasing him and all major groups in Yorubaland welcome Awolowo with several banners. Stop trying to use false narratives to back your opinion.
@the second bolded, I’ve been telling you and your kinsmen to provide me just one evidence that give credence to your fact. None of you provided any evidence and I’m but ashamed of the whole Igbo race. What is the usefulness of your education if none of you can provide just one evidence to support your argument. So shameful!
@the third bolded, calabar prison was a federal prison bro, do you even know Ironsi already made some promise to release Awolowo before his demise? Although the Yoruba bloc later learnt to know that he’s just playing politics with it. Gowon not only released Awolowo but other prominent AG party prisoners like Adekunle Ajasin, Anthony Enahoro, etc.
@the fourth bolded, stop confusing yourself, there is no mention of Ikoyi prison in any of the article, where are you seeing Ikoyi prison?? From the evidence above you can see that it was states that Awo was flown from calabar prison in a helicopter and Gowon received him at his office. So where do you see Ikoyi prison that you keep mentioning? Is everything okay?
@your last statement, yes fake news exists and the empire of fake news is Biafra republic. Ojukwu was a propagandist up to his death while Nnamdi Kanu has a doctorate in fake news coz we all still remeber his Buhari is Jubril news.
See the pics attached below. You can see that it was stated that Awolowo was flown from calabar prison to meet with Gowon at Doran barracks where they shook hand. That was exactly the video I uploaded in the former thread. If you're going to earn your keep from the Tinubu establishment in pushing this false narrative, it behooves you to prove : 1. Calabar prison, and maybe Calabar city was under the Gowon federal government July end, and early August 1966. 2. That there was a federal Activity, namely, military, espionage, etc that might have freed Awo without resistance from the controlling Biafran regime. 3. That Gowon freed other federal prisoners held in the east like Nzeogwu and some of his co plotters. You can't confuse people much longer with your infantile postulations devoid of basic reasoning: even if you are paid to lay the political foundation for Tinubu and his mom to claim important roles in the release and reception of Awolowo. Either you work harder or they'll replace you with someone with bigger gray matter! |

LegendHero: Lol I don laugh tire for this your statement. You have more bigger talent ahead of you as a comedian and you will excel by making use Igbo language as your comedy language.
@the first bolded, if you’re not visually impaired, you will see from the guardian paper I attached where they said he was flown (helicopter) from calabar prison to Lagos. Go back to the evidence I provided to see that and come back here to apologize.
@the second bolded, do you mean after Ojukwu released him in late July, Awo started trekking from calabar and eventually reached Lagos in August 3rd to do a photo op with Gowon?
@the third bolded, have you read Awolowo book called “Awo on the Nigerian civil war”? The image is attached below.
You deserve to be tied to a tree and flogged to reformat your thinking. Even nnamdi Kanu will envy you coz your own case overshadows his comedy rhetorics. Definitely not going to stoop down to trade childish bs with you, because like many people, I used to wonder why the fervent pitch to misinform reality until I started seeing another thread that showed Ms Tinubu, yes the mother of Tinubu himself was being hailed as one of the people who organized Awolowo release and welcome with the young Tinubu assisting!! How nice will it sound for the Jagaband himself to stand on a podium to narrate how he released Awo, even as a child Then it all made sense. I can't argue facts with a person paid to argue with me, remember who said that? Ojukwu mistake was not putting a big tattoo of Biafra on Awolowo face, so that people like you would have not need to argue blindly. That's why despite being your fulltime 24/7 job, you have not been able to convince anyone with facts, except images made after the fact! If you are unable to prove that Calabar was not under Ojukwu control, and that Ojukwu ran the prison where Awo was being held, and that there was no documented forcible federal activity to release Awo, then you are definitely fixated on your predetermined conclusion. Have you even wondered why Gowon took the extraordinary photo op to show Ikoyi prison? Awo was not released from Ikoyi. It showed the reason why there were numerous publications falsely claiming that Gowon had released Awo. Too bad, you are daft to even assume that average reasoning Nigerans will not know the sequence of events. Fake news did not start with Trump you know! Yes, the victor gets to write the war history, but not the facts. |

Gowon dug into nation task, He promised to keep Nigeria one, He appealed to the nation for full support, He prayed all to forget the past, And come together for our country's sake.
Other tribes in the federation, Gave the appeal an immediate support, but lbo tribe did not cooperate, because the leader was not lboman. Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, The then Military Governor of Eastern Region, Took the lead for lbo people, Proved his wisdom beyond bounds, He did his best to cause confusion, To disintegrate the Federal Nigeria. And you are 100% wrong on the 'preliminary class' statement, Nigerians are the most well educated minority in the US and every 'advanced class' is full of Nigerians, Kenyans, Ghanians, Ethiopians and Cameroonians. Everyone knows this. I think you just want to give the man credit because you think he's white (even though he's not, and that's how I know you have never left Nigeria) and you automatically feel inferior because of your strange choice to have low value and self esteem in life.. It sounds very benign, or even a joke, but if you have been in an advanced class in the US, and a white man asked you how come you are in that class, because he doesn't know any African who have ever passed the preliminary class, you probably won't consider it funny after all! While he may be genuinely shocked that an African airline has $1B order, because of his ignorance, he may also be mocking the company at the same time. However, for short sighted and tribalistic Nigerians, the white man comments will be the opening they seek to put another tribe down, and eventually their own country. |

SalamRushdie: Boeing owns 80% of Embrear commercial jets not 20 please get your facts right .. and I never said the US owned Embrear military but the whole design and patent of the Tucano belongs to the US and Embrear is only building them under some arrangement the same way the Americans allow Agusta Westland to build export version of the AH 64 Apache Helicopter.. Don't lose focus of the topic under discussion. 80 % of Embraer commercial jet division is not the same as 80% of Embraer, because Embraer has so many other divisions. The focus is that Air Peace is buying more of a Brazilian plane ( even if it's partly owned by Boeing), not a 100% USA plane like Boeing. If you agree on that, then we can understand how some people might suspect that the whole incident may be directly or indirectly related to the court case. |
Politics › Re: What A White Man Had Say About Air Peace by eagleu: 9:50pm On Nov 23, 2019 |
SalamRushdie: 80% and most of the tech Embrear deploys is American , don't be surprised the entire revenue is paid into the US economy .. remember when Buhari paid for 12 Embrear super Tucanos he signed and paid for them at the white house .. Boeing paid for about 20% of Embraer, because deal with Canada didn't go through. Note Embrear has other divisions like fighters and helicopters. White House approval of Tucano sale to Nigeria was because of exclusivity contract between Brazil and USA, not because it was oil owned by USA. Sales revenue went to Brazil, probably into Embrear account, even if it is partially owned by Boeing. |
