Family / Re: If You Could Start All Over, Would You Still Choose Your Family? by Easyincome24: 11:00am On Jan 14 |
Bmaster: Mate, you may be right but using the affirmative word "NOBODY...and I repeat nobody" begs for a debate. There is a fraction, even if it's 0.000001% of the population size of this country who are proud and would still choose their family all over. As long as this fraction exists, it nullifies your assertion. |

Family / If You Could Start All Over, Would You Still Choose Your Family? by Easyincome24: 10:21am On Jan 14 |
I saw a post on social media of someone who regretted being birthed into his family. He narrated how difficult life has been since he was raised by his parents. It's like a synonymous generational battle he's fighting unknowingly because at almost 40 years no major breakthrough he could point to. He made the conclusion that if he could start all over, he would prefer to be born with a silver spoon. He listed his preferred families he would like to start all over with such as Dangotes, Otedolas, Tony Olumelus etc. Now, if you were to start all over, would you still choose your family? Let's hear from you. |

This thread says much about what have become our political space. Few names keep repeated here despite having so many politicians in the country. Then why did we vote some of them when we can't trust them with leadership? |

Do you mean just a day? Cos someone like me can be indoor for months or years. Provide access to plug my gadgets with wifi. Then steadily stock the house with foods. That's all, then you can have me indoor for as long as you want. |

Education / Re: Is Nigeria Certificate Useful Outside The Country? by Easyincome24: 5:02pm On Dec 27, 2024 |
sulakishop:Sometimes, not getting the right info is out problems. Your Nigeria degree could build you a strong basis to land a good job abroad. There is something called professional base point. Your degree scores a point, experience after school and if you have done a professional exam to proof your worth is among. Why we make wrong assertion is because we only stopped at degrees here, we hardly see people acquiring more professional certs to make you stand tall like others from the world. Imagine an Aussie from the same background as you applying for the same abroad job in US. Do you stand to beat such arms down? Your degree, professional qualifications and certification and experience in the relevant field are all they will use to judge both of you not your country. 1 Like |

Lionize: Mate, you are right in your perspective and I quite understand laziness in some applicants. However, remember we ain't made the same way. Some may find it difficult to analyze, interpret and apply a simple instruction such as application processes. Even in a more civilized environment, we have people like this with special cases. It doesn't make them less humans. Believe me, despite your smartness, you still fall behind some intelligent fellows. In all, let's bear one anothers weakness so far it doesn't affect us negatively. 1 Like |

Ensa777:For scholarship, you won't need any Proof of Funds. The scholarship acceptance covers that. However, if your category of admission isn't within scholarship, you will need to cover for your school fees, and also check what monthly expenses are multiplied by a minimum of 10-12 months, this have to reflect in your account statement for 3-6 months counting backwards. |

foreoluwa01: You need to read the specific document requirements of the schools you applied to. However CV, motivation letter, and reference letter are generally required. Do well to know how many pages are accepted and the formats. Regarding transcripts, you won't need to upload yourself. Check the official address for University Admission Sweden for your school to mail them. That's the modality. |

Politics / Re: Tinubu Pledges To Tackle Nigeria’s Economy Problems Through Agriculture by Easyincome24: 8:25am On Dec 01, 2024 |
China's economic reform began with agricultural liberalisation. Between 1978 and 1983, agricultural reforms successfully transformed collectives to household-based farming and produced record-breaking growth in grain and meat output, overcoming endemic food shortages experienced since the 1950s. Nigeria has the capacity but it's not going to be accidental; it has to come through a deliberate attempt void of corruption. Crude oil has done more damages to us yet our currency dwarfs it's other strong Africa countries when we used to poised being the giant of Africa. We need security in our farms, advanced mechanisation and access to credit facilities for farmers. |
Education / Why You Should Learn More Foreign Languages. by Easyincome24: 11:16am On Nov 12, 2024 |
Friends, as you all know that languages are means of communication between two or more people. Being raised in Nigeria should not limit you to only speaking your mother's tongue alone. Infact, there are so many benefits of learning other languages especially foreign languages. In the international space, if your portfolio can show a basic education with foreign languages, you already stand a chance among several others. Imagine your portfolio reads, SSCE, Proficient in English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese et'al. Some job sponsorships are ready to take a chance on an individual that can display a level of language skill set. Mind you, it's not that easy to learn languages but if you pick one, the next would come a little easy and with time, your intuition would get acquaint with polyglots. For sometimes, I have started adding more languages to my portfolio with serious work. All I do sometimes is to follow up with materials freely available online and also a group participation. Here are the tools and platforms that I use: Duolingo, YouTube, Podcast language, AI language, online classes (when exam is approaching). If you are not skilled in self teaching, you could seek the services of a tutor who will drive you more. There are many centres in Nigeria to learn foreign languages especially in places like Lagos, Port Harcourt, Abuja, etc. You should also formalize your skill by sitting for the exams from beginners to professional depending on your wallet and interest. Kindly let me know which language you want to learn or already started learning and what are the difficulties you are facing.

Travel / My Road Trip From Lagos To Côte D'ivoire, Then Back To Lagos. by Easyincome24: 6:14pm On Nov 04, 2024 |
I will be documenting my road trip from Lagos to Côte d'ivoire. Due to high cost of flight, I would be making use of the road medium of transportation beginning my departure from Lagos to Abidjan (all things being equal). I will also be sharing some beautiful pictures as clear as my phone Pixel could capture. I know some threads have been written on this type of adventure but it's not bad if one could lay hands on different diaries from others such like mine. I will also ensure it's not boring, as reading is also an adventure on its own coupled with traveling. Come with me, let's explore my "DISNEY JOURNEY TO THE IVORY COAST." Oh boy, I have to get my pen, do a reasonable budget from transportation cost to feeding and many more. Disclaimer: Whatever you read on this thread is a personal view of the writer. It should in no wise influence your personal decisions which I believe should be absolutely yours as one in a good state of mind and maturity to filter information from online platforms like this.

Education / Re: Struggles Of A Private School Teacher by Easyincome24: 5:41pm On Oct 08, 2024 |
Let's appreciate you for feeling so concerned including your friend that hosts you in that neighborhood allowing you to extend such generosity to a co-tenant. First, either the husband or wife needs to quit private teaching. As lucrative as it could be, unfortunately they are on the wrong toss of the dice. If we should suggest digital skill, or other side hustle, the question is would he be interested to pursue it? A friend of mine was in this boat, despite all advice to start YouTube, Facebook reel reaching in maths, physics or chemistry. He's such a good teacher but he's so lazy to take up such advice. So whenever he complains he's stranded, I only stretch out what I could afford to him. I feel if this continues, I may need to face him squarely that my support needs to cease if he's not ready to upskill. Some of these private school teachers never see other means to be lucrative outside their teaching. They seemed sold out to it. You have one more assignment to do, relate all the comments in this thread to him to hear his intention too. For now, rent needs to be sorted, food needs to be provided and none of our advice can quickly fix these. He needs a financial support in the interim. |

To everyone who sent an email, the project team are scrutinizing them so in due time the qualified candidates will get our call. However, if you only sent a mail without links to your previous work done by you, you can still attach that to your previous mail sent out. We are starting with two (2) writers for now, then in subsequent projects, we may demand more using those who didn't make the first selection. |
