Romance / Re: But Why Is Chinese Fried Rice £5 but Jollof Rice £19?? by eazzzy1(m): 2:11am On Feb 17
African restaurants don’t get patronage like the Chinese ones. Asides from Chinese people, who by the way have a larger population than Nigerians, a whole lot of other nationalities eat chinese unlike Naija meals.

These Nigerian restaurants price their meals to cover their fixed & overhead costs. They pay for rent, electricity, water, salary etc whether they make sales or not. Just like it’s costlier to eat Chinese or French in naija than it is to eat Jollof or amala.

I like how you prioritize family. Hopefully we get to see a grass to grace story soon. I wish you nothing but abundance. If you are this thoughtful in little, you deserve more to do more. Keep doing you, you are an inspiration to many.

Your sister in-law did superb with the decor. I like that the money was spent on your home instead of on overpriced outside food.

Health / Re: Nigerian Nurses In The UK Embroiled In Qualification Scandal by eazzzy1(m): 12:39pm On Feb 14
Why is the test to qualify as a nurse in the UK conducted in Nigeria? Or why is the UK not in charge of the conduct like IELTS or ACCA.

The UK needs to tighten the exam process but I disagree that patience lives are at risk. Sitting and passing an exam doesn’t always reflect ability to do the job. I know people who speak fluent English who can’t pass IELTS.

As people grow older, fairy tales are replaced with reality. A lot of things people won’t tolerate in their younger years would be embraced as they get older.

At some point people just want to be happy and the society standard for what makes people happy would be by-passed because older people have tried it and they know it doesn’t work.

I agree with him. Dating outside your country, race or tribe, even personality type is usually easier and interesting especially at the beginning. There’s a lot to unravel about yourselves. When you date your type the see finish is immediate.

Romance / Re: Are Broke Guys Really Relationship Troublemakers? by eazzzy1(m): 4:57pm On Feb 09
Most women treat men based on their financial capabilities. Some behaviours she won’t exhibit when dating a rich guy would be expected to be tolerated by the broke guy. People treat you according to your replacement value and broke guys can be easily replaced. Theres no shortage of broke guys in the world.

A guy can be broke today but if he feels he’s going to make it, he will act like it and there will be constant clashes. The average woman thinks she’s doing the broke man a favour. She wants to hangout with other guys because she's not scared if he wants to hang with other women, he’s broke, no one wants him. Even if they do, she’s not scared to lose him.

Romance / Re: The Evil We Are Contending Against In Nigeria [PICTURE] by eazzzy1(m): 1:03pm On Feb 09
It’s only when these abuse gets to the public domain we act outraged. We all know these things go on. Parents beat up their children, guardians beat up their wards, teachers beat up their students, senior students beat up junior students etc.

For a country that believes in spare the rod and spoil the child, why are we outraged? For such to stop it has stop on all levels starting from the family. If the government introduces a law to ban corporal punishment you will see people carrying placards in protest.

The woman probably got ‘disciplined’ in that manner as a child and saw nothing wrong with paying it forward till the NGO showed up at her doorstep.

Given women public utterances in support of such when the ‘victim’ is a guy, it’s difficult to be sympathetic when such things happen these days. If it was CiCi’s ex bf doing the ranting most women would have justified her betrayal. Our resident feminists have repeatedly told us no one owes anyone loyalty until marriage.

If you were in your friends situation you most likely would have done same. I guess Obinna can thank you for flying his soul mate to Port harcourt.

Matrix137:
science inclined students are more knowledgeable in their area of expertise unlike arts students

I think my submission is the same regardless of field of study. Arts, Science or Business.

The university can introduce a course called car driving where they teach you about breaks for a whole semester, you learn about the history of breaks and the materials used to make breaks, after 4 years you graduate with a BSc in Vehicular movement management. Do you need all that knowledge to be able to apply breaks?

A mechanic apprentice can know more about cars than someone with a Mechanical Engineering degree, but the fella with the degree would be more favoured to get a job. I’m sure if I sat in a cock-pit with a pilot for 30 flights I will be able to fly a plane too.

The first engineers, doctors, accountants etc didn’t have to go to school did they? The man who discovered electricity did not study elect elect. It was all curiosity and practice. Our education gives us an advantage at getting the job but the techniques of any job can be learnt by even people with no formal education.

Romance / Re: Who Will Marry The Beautiful Nigerian Women In The UK? by eazzzy1(m): 5:02pm On Feb 04
I think when women stop being eager to get married, men would start rushing to get married. When I was growing up there was an old man who had all sort of fruit trees in his farm, guava, mango, orange, apple, what we called fruit etc. We the neighborhood kids will pluck a lot to take home but you never saw him or his kids bother with plucking fruits.

The average guy with a decent life can get married with the wave of a hand or the push of a button so he isn’t exactly keen on it. It’s the same way women turn down sex offers, they could get it whenever they want. It’s the abundance mentality.

God cursed man with hardship, man doesn’t appreciate anything he does not get through hardship. If getting married becomes difficult for men, they will do the work to get married and keep the marriage. If you have an assignment due in four hours but the question is 1 + 1, there’s no motivation to start early, you can do it at the last minute, likewise a man with six women chasing him for something serious. Where’s the motivation to pick one?

Technically I do. I work in a related field but I don’t believe I had to go through the rigours to be effective at my Job. I can train a secondary school leaver on the technical aspect of my Job and they should be good after 7-9 months on the job experience.

When I was in SS2, I knew the formats of a balance sheet and P & L by heart. Now you just punch in numbers in a software and it does the work for you. However, you can’t deny the place of education as regards thinking, strategy, tact, communication etc.

A lot of things learnt in school wasn’t taught in the classroom. You learnt coping with stress, time management, meeting deadlines, discipline, socialization, patience, will, character etc. All these are required in your job too.

Romance / Re: Suicide Should Be Free And Fair by eazzzy1(m): 3:41am On Feb 04
I would have told you it gets better, God gives his toughest battles to his strongest soldiers, there are depressed people in every country of the world, there are depressed billionaires, whatever you are going through, someone else have gone through and conquered, but you have asked not to be preached to, so I won’t tell you those.

If you get caught trying to commit suicide, you really didn’t intend to die, you planned to get caught. If you are unsuccessful at offing yourself, you can’t be successful at any other thing.

You are like the celebrities who drive to third mainland bridge, park their cars and roam around till someone rescues them. Those guys never intended to die, they intended to cry for help and wanted people to take the cry seriously.
Romance / Re: Men And Sex by eazzzy1(m): 2:04pm On Feb 03
Women offer their bodies to curry favour from men too.

Women solicit men for sex just as much, you just never hear of it because the average man considers it a double win.

While demanding sex to qualify a person is bad, there’s nothing wrong with men wanting sex. Sex is to men as marriage is to women. Imagine men go to Shiloh to pray for a sex partner? The man’s need for sex is exaggerated.

Women aren’t as pious as you would make us believe. A lot of male children get abused. It’s the mindset of the male that stops him from seeing it as abuse.

It is my opinion that if every guy you meet wants to sleep with you, you put yourself out in such manner. Personally, there are women I have asked to sleep with casually, there are women I believed I had to put in work to get and there are women I didn’t bother with because they were no go areas. What was the difference between these women?

It’s for crowd control. Making sure the people coming in to market are people who should be in the market. That’s the only logical explanation I can think of.

As long as it isn’t a hidden charge, they let you know from the gate and you do have a choice to pay or turn back.

Romance / Re: Women Cheating Is The End Of The Relationship. Why ? by eazzzy1(m): 10:57pm On Feb 01
1. Most men don’t want to be in a committed relationship in the first place. If given the option most guys would opt for a casual relationship. To the average guy, the one who’s having sex with a woman without commitment is the winner and they are the loser.

2. One of the only benefits of a relationship over fwb is exclusivity, you think you are the only one sleeping with the person you are with. Once that’s not the case then why not just be fwb so you both can sleep with whoever? Keep in mind it’s women who push for something serious the most.

3. Men have options. Most women don’t leave because there’s no where to go. When a guy leaves, he can always find himself someone else. The ease of moving on favours the man more than it does a woman.

Romance / Re: "Before You Marry Her Allow Her To Catch You Cheating"- Nigerian Man Urges by eazzzy1(m): 9:51pm On Feb 01
Sometime ago I was dating this chick, we had dated a year and a few months and we never had a fight, not even an argument. She told her friends this and their response was to try to get me angry so she sees how I react when mad.

It was a very weird suggestion to me but there are people who think in similar fashion. Test whoever you are with to see how they react in certain situations. His suggestion makes sense for any man who wants to get married but also know they can’t be faithful.

Her friends were right. Our first fight ended the relationship. It certainly would have ended it even if we were married. It’s a valid advice to let your potential spouse know all that there is to you and decide if they would want to be with you notwithstanding.

When a woman has options you will know. She will treat you like one. The signs are different for different people but the bottom line is that she changes.

If you can’t decipher these changes then you deserve to be cheated on for not knowing your wife.

Romance / Re: Cohabiting Before Marriage. by eazzzy1(m): 2:09pm On Jan 27
Whether it’s good or bad will depend on individual situation.

Disadvantages
It’s frowned upon in some society, culture and religion

When you live with someone, leaving them becomes difficult even if it’s in your best interest. Cohabitation can be a trap.

Advantages
Compatibility check - There are a lot of things you can’t know about someone until you live with them. Spending the weekend isn’t the same.

Ease on finance - When both individuals contribute, the cost of living is reduced for both, unlike if they live alone.

Convenience - Some people can’t afford to live alone so they end up sharing living space with strangers. Having roommates can be inconveniencing, it can be easier to be roommates with your partner.

Trap - it can be an advantage if you plan to trap someone, a disadvantage if you don’t want to be trapped.

Anytime a man gets in a relationship with that age gap, there’s controversy too. Timini and his gf generated a lot of controversy. Ned and Regina, Rudeboy Paul Okoye etc.

As a matter of fact older women dating younger guys get fewer public backlash. Tiwa n wiz, Davido n Sophia, Uche Ogbodo n her man, Nkechi Blessing etc.

So unless your equality means women should be given a pass for what men gets condemned for, you will endure the backlash and enjoy your relationship. No crime has been committed.
Romance / Re: FGM Should Be Reintroduced by eazzzy1(m): 1:26pm On Jan 27
I have seen promiscuous mutilated women. The main reason why FGM was practiced in the past was for hygiene and aesthetics. The clitoris looked like a penis and women didn’t want it, they also felt the vagina was easier to clean without it.

As people began to clamour for an end to FGM, the people who were handed down this practice came up with several reasons to uphold it, some of them were women who didn’t undergo FGM would die young, would become promiscuous, would have difficulty having children etc.

Contrary to misconceptions, men did not introduce FGM to control women, women at the time asked to be mutilated, the mutilation was consented to by themselves or their mothers, as it was the norm. The persons who handled the cutting were usually women too.

100 years from now women can say men coerced them to do butt surgeries so they can die young or have health challenges in old age.
Crime / Re: Church Members Say Pastor Feyi Daniels Framed, Conviction Will Be Overturned by eazzzy1(m): 12:54pm On Jan 27
Leaders should learn to stay away from sex with the people they lead. It’s never worth it. When in leadership your female followers will chase you, seduce you, tempt you, just make up your mind not to fall.

The same thing happened with TB Joshua, once your disciples find out they aren’t the only one you were deceiving, the accusations starts coming. If four to five people accuses you, the bias to believe them is there; by the public and the judges.

Apostle that is nacking Nollywood actresses knows what he’s doing.

It’s not like you told them you were single or searching. Why are they suggesting that you leave your girlfriend? You need to stand on business like a man, it’s women they choose partners for.

You can as well get to know the other lady so that at least you have options. That’s what women will do. Shop around and pick the best.
Celebrities / Re: "Young Boys Find Me More Attractive Than Older Men But I Can't Give Them My Body by eazzzy1(m): 2:46pm On Jan 25
Men your age are mostly married, the unmarried ones don’t want marriage or they don’t want it with their age mates or someone your age.

Younger guys know you won’t pressure them for marriage so they just want to be helping you in the oza room. Most of them will disappear when they hit once or twice.
