Sports › Arsenal Sign Ginter From Freiburg by ebamma(op): 5:23pm On Aug 04, 2013
Arsenal have reportedly
reached agreement with
Bundesliga side Freiburg
to sign young German
defensive midfielder
Matthias Ginter.
German sources claim that
Arsene Wenger’s side have
forked out £6.1m to snap
up the teenager, who has
been capped three times
at Under 21 level.
Ginter is considered one of
the hottest properties in
German football and last
term helped his side to
secure a fifth place finish,
with the rangy midfielder
making 26 starts in all
competitions.
Arsene Wenger could well
do with adding some steel
to his midfield, to help
bring balance to a side
that is jam packed with
creative talent. The
Gunners have not
adequately replaced Alex
Song, with Mikel Arteta
being left to fill a
makeshift holding role last
term.
Clearly Ginter is very much
one for the future but the
Freiburg player has shown
over the course of the past
18 months and he is able
to make an instant impact
in top tier football and if
secured could well have a
significant part to play in
Arsenal’s first team set-up
this season.
Wenger has enjoyed
shopping in the
Bundesliga in recent
seasons bringing in full
internationals like Lukas
Podolski and Per
Mertesacker as well as up
and coming talents such
as Serge Gnabry and
Thomas Eisfeld.

Politics › Re: Anambra Ordered Arrest and Deportation Of Child beggars in 2011. by ebamma(m): 1:03pm On Aug 02, 2013
Sincere 9gerian: Whether any one or group of people are trying to make political gains out of this issue is irrelevant. Did any of the contestants in the Anambra election force Fashola to carry out his evil deportation at this period?

Anambra state and many other states (including Lagos) may have deported Nigerians in the past but that does not make it right. It is wrong, evil, wicked and inhumane to deport Nigerians in their own country. When the Lagos state govt did the initial deportation of Nigerians, including Igbos, yorubas and hausas, the uproar was not as loud. Perhaps that was what emboldened Fashola to now repeat the deportation with impunity.

The uproar will continue until it sinks into Fashola's crazy skull that it is wrong to deport Nigerians in their own country. The uproar will continue until Fashola apologises for his evil actions. Subsequently, governors will think twice before deporting Nigerians in Nigeria.
so akwa ibom state and ebonyi states are now ruled by fashola, i support deportation of touts from lagos or anambra who dont have any reason for being there, stop tribalising this issue and using it to leverage support for your masters party PDP.

Politics › Igbos Or Any Other Tribe Can't Make Or Break Any State's Economy by ebamma(op): 11:38pm On Jul 31, 2013
I just read a thread on the frontpage in which governor gabriel suswan claimed that any state that doesn't have igbos in it economy will suffer, and i laughed out loud, its now i realised that our politicians are more clueless than i thought, maybe he forgot that 80percent of igbo's investment in states is in the trading sector, spare parts dealers, electronic shop owners, chemist owners etc which cannot make our break a state's economy, cos those services are provided based on demand, even if igbos dont do it other tribes will still take advantage of the demand and start such businesses, how much tax can a spare part dealer or electronic shop owner pay into a state coffers?, we should stop lying to ourselves please.
Another laughable point made in that topic was that igbo's investment in abuja is 600 trillion, just to remind u nigeria's budget for 2013 is 4.93 trillion, which means that igbo's investment in abuja is almost 11 times of nigeria's budget, maybe all properties and companies including the aso rock villa, and the national assembly are owned by igbos. We should stop lying to support our claims please, nobody hates the igbos, if the yorubas so hated u guys will the have let u owned properties worth the so called 300
trillion on their soil, although im not yoruba but i have never heard that some igbo traders have been slaughtered by yorubas or that a yoruba landlord refused to rent his house to someone simply because he is igbo, we should stop this show of hate and discord please.
God bless my niger delta
God bless nigeria
