I don't like to buy yam from women.. They never ever agree for a fair price. Instead i'd go to the mallams and gist with them in local dialect and tell them a story of how i used to farm yam and how i can link them up with a local supplier that can give them cheaper yam.

This enables them to develop a "because of say na you" thought process and then they agree to give me at the price i want them to give me.

NIGERIA no get grain again o sir!.i live up north and also partly a farmer here so i speak from experience .most of our lands here r serioulsy dead,ferterlizers are dangeroulsly expensive and most of d famers here r d poor. the big men here are not totally in to grains ,only a handful does.the security trouble sef is very limiting as men can not freely go in to their farms at will as it use to be,thus,the limited grain production which can not even meet our own local consumption.so his feat would work n should be encouraged pending when d security issue takes shape.the price of grain is also very high now n still counting o.we over here are already buying it high amongst our selves not to talk of d non farmers n down south who r not in to grains that much!
