Religion is a corruption of God.

The way I see it, African names are part of the African heritage and identity. Every name tells a story. You can easily deduce a people's philosophy from the kind of names they bear. What philosophy does this European name change say about our generation, It tells a story of the invasion of our physical, cultural, and spiritual space by the Europeans. Let us put an end to this bleak history of ours, so that our names and culture would speak of a generation that resurrected a civilisation that was thought destroyed, improved it, and made it (once again) into the envy of the world. Be proud of your roots y'all. Schools should teach with the local languages of the students, African arts, and technology should be resurrected and modernized.

We would kill of Islam (note not Muslims) and then severely marginalise Christianity ( not Christians) and then give the deserved accolades to the prestigious religion of the God (CHUKWU) and deities (Ikenga, Amadioha, Ukpabi) of our ancestors. Ikengawo: I think they should just reward people to register and inventory the guns they own legal or not, gun ownership is paramount to people power and democracy. The government thinks twice before openning fire on an armed civilian populace. Its also good to stay armed if shit hits the fan with boko haram kidnappers or traditional fulani terrorists. I can see the advantages this will have in curbing armed robbery, kidnap, voter intimidation, gangsterism, and barbaric rural clashes. Not even the devil can deny that this woman is doing the works of world bank, imf and other related criminal organisations. She has given the Nigerian economy a fatal blow to the ribs by Removing subsidy. She paid off 12b loan, only to give the criminals in government access to more funds to loot. Now Nigeria's debt is even more than it was then. People living in Nigeria, irrespective of ethnic group, should refuse people like her with all their might. You can't serve two masters at a time, especially if they have competing roles (the world bank is a creditor and Nigeria is a debtor). I hate Nigeria, but a bad economy affects everyone.

To all those dissing owere in this thread, shame on you. I've lived in most major cities in the south east of this goddamn country. There is no city as sane and organized like owere. Even business activities in owere are more organized and less chaotic than in other states in Nigeria. Lets wait till 2014 and then we can do another comparison people (with pictures). You're saying that because the refineries in Middle East and South America were built by their own engineers!?

Dude if you pay a western firm to build you a refinery,  the money goes to their economy because they won't spend it here. They would do a half aszed job, and maintenance  would be supa expensive, because they would have to be flown and given VIP  accommodation in your shithole of a country; not to talk of their overpriced wages. Now you can't fix any of the crap that they build for you unless you spend years to learn their jargons. If you pay local companies; preferably more than one company, the money stays here. Government spending would translate to employment for locals and visible and low maintenance  and awesome infrastructure. If Nigerian universities are really churning out half illiterates, then they should all be closed down; To be replaced by private universities,  with Nigeria having the option to provide loans at generous rates to prospective students.  Nigerians and their leaders are shamelessly addicted to everything foreign. Their addiction,  like every other addiction is killing them slowly. Nigerians are the cause of their problems, they are reaping what they sow.

simple build your refineries yourselves. Chinese government companies,  western companies all have the same thing in common, to reap you off.  Get off your lazy azs and pay your local engineers to build you a refinery.  If they can't do it, close up all the universities in Nigeria and fvcking go and die, because you are a useless being.

Nigeria dug its grave when it chose to use ethnicity and favoritism in all its dealings. Quota system in politics, quota system in the police, quota system in education, quota in everything. Can people notice that the only argument made by the pro-sanusi people, is that sanusi is honest and soludo is a thieve. People we are talking about competence and professional footprints. If soludo is a thieve, arrest him, charge him to court and convict him for his crime. The last time I checked, honesty alone does make you qualified to head the cbn.
