Nice write up. Now its question time.
I have someone who would like to get skilled in animation. Unfortunately nigeria don't have good schools that offers such (i may be wrong), but after doing some research he could only get such schools in India.
How would you advise such a fellow? |

Nairaland General › Do you Hang Or Fold Your Clothes? by Eberex(op): 1:12pm On Jul 24, 2015 |
Hello i'm wondering if ts better to hang or to fold your clothes. I know some people hang everything from tank tops to jeans to t-shirts. Others i know fold up most of their things including dresses skirts etc. others go half and half. What is better for clothes and what do you guys think? I did some search and i came across the results below:
Do they work for you?
1. Wool sweaters. Hanging will stretch out the neck and shoulders.
2. Cotton anything. Folding will result in you having to iron and we want to avoid that at all costs.
3. Linen anything. The same reason as cotton, but even more so.
4. Jeans, corduroys, and chinos. Pants and shorts made from rugged material can be stored either way.
5. Trousers. They tend to wrinkle easily and hanging them circles back to that "avoid the iron at all costs" rule.
6. Blazers. For obvious reasons.
7. Ties. A tie rack is a very worthy investment because these buggers wrinkle easily. But you could also roll up your ties and store 'em in PVC pipes.
8. Belts. Hang them over the hook of a hanger, or roll them up and stick 'em in a drawer/PVC pipe like your ties.
9. Shirts. Hanging means no wrinkles, and no wrin... well, you get the point.
10. T-shirts. Much like a wool sweater, hanging a tee will stretch out the neck and shoulders, resulting in unsightly bumps. (Check out this piece for a simple way to get rid of hanger bumps.)
11. Knitwear. Because, if hung, it'll stretch out worse than your wool sweaters and t-shirts.

Royal155: Good. If you want to invest in NTB there is a thread on nairalandby feelamong where you can learn the basic and how it is done. I don't have time now, i would have searched for the link and paste it here.
All is required is you going to your bank and tell them that you want to register for NTB and they will give you a form to feel. Some banks accept minimum of 100k and some from 1m. Your 500k would be enough to take part in it assuming you want to use FBN(that's the bank i use). Whats the minimum % interest per annum? |
Investment › Re: Why You Must Invest by Eberex(m): 9:04am On Jul 21, 2015 |
Royal155: It depends. If you have any other means of income and just looking for where to invest the money as an idle fund, then i recommend NIGERIA TREASURY BILL OR BOND. That's where i have most of my idle funds. But if you don't have any means of income and looking for where you can invest, then i suggest you look within your environment to see problems that you can solve at a profit margin. Just start up something with the money. 500k is big enough for clothing business. I started my clothing business with just 130k and today i thank GOD for where i am.
This my 2 cent bro! Thank you for the quick response. yes i do have other means of income. I work. But its one thing to have money in your account and anotther thing is temptation to touch it when little issues pops up. On Nigeria Treasury Bill, i have heard of it, but being an engineer i really need some basic info in order to go into it. Do you care to share what is required on this? As for putting it into a business, i dont think i'm the business kind of person in terms of selling and buying |

I was just seated in my office when my colleague came in told me some dude is outside in the street selling a huge snake (as if i'm interested in eating snakes ) Trust me na, seeing is believing and so i zoomed off to check for myself. This is somewhere around opebi/toyin Round-about. And he was selling like its normal. I wanted to approach him and suggest he take it to Chinese Restaurant not too far from there, but i said to myself ''wtf...who knows, someone who needed it more might come along and buy it. Lagos: Is there anything that is unsaleable?
