This is a government that has not achieved or claim to achieve anything meaningful in its 55 years besides forcing Africa's most Enterprising ethnic group to the same country with it[/quote]

That's an achievement on it own. You are an hypocrite. Before I can take you serious, burn your Nigeria-Passport, relocate to Aba, callback law makers in Abuja representing the east, divorce your wives from other parts of Nigeria, stop spending the naira.... I don't blame you, OPC & June 12 got yoruba the president (OBJ), Niger Delta Militants got South South the VP(GEJ) and eventually the presidency... boko haram discredited GEJ and brought PMB... I can understand why you think this can pretentiously give you the shot at the presidency. One Love Nigeria. Once upon a time, the east once marginalized the north and the east once team up with the north against the west. Wailers.

Well, l think the problem is attitudinal than just error. You shouted on your boss? Even if you had sent the right schedule, you still would be in trouble over that. Your response to the first query was rude. This was clearly underlined. You got a follow-up query and came to nairaland to seek counsel. Don't you have mentors at work? Or at home? Or in church/mosque? Is your fiancee/or fiance incapable of advising you on this? 3 reasons why you might be fired if you don't change:

1. You are corky.
2. You lack people skills.
3. You don't have skills society can place demand on.

Human errors are inevitable in life. Be humble and relate well with people.

My advice to you. Copy and paste the reply below and submit to your management.

Dear Sir/Ma,

I regret all the inconveniences my slip up had caused this organisation and tender an unreserved and wholehearted apology.

Kindly temper judgement with mercy as l promise that this would never happen again.

Op you are a bloody paid agent!

The fact is that Igbo's have nothing to regret for not supporting APC and b00hari. We know that b00hari is a bloody tribal cum religious bigot. He has proven that through his actions and inactions since he came to office.

BTW, let me inform you that some of those past PDP governors you mentioned actually worked. I wouldn't know for T.A orji but I can attest to the fact that the duo of Chimaroke Nnamani and Sam Egwu performed while in office.

I am presently in an APC controlled state (Edo) and I know how bad things are here. IMO state is an APC controlled state, yet nothing to show for being under APC leadership in the state. I have been to Osun and Ogun states which are APC states, nothing is working there!

The point is that we should not completely demonize PDP as if APC is any better. Igbo's support PDP because APC failed in most of the states they govern. So, enough of all these senseless talks about Igbo's not moving on and bla bla bla. Igbo's are wise and are not easily moved by propaganda which is what APC is founded on.

Let APC prove themselves better than PDP, then they can get the support of the Igbo's. I rest my case.

My advice to you. Be open to constructive criticism. My most trusted friend on earth is Ibo. I am yoruba. I was born and brought up in Kaduna. The major problem of the lbos is that everyone is a leader and King, nobody want to be led. There are 6 geopolitical zones in Nigeria, and for an Ibo to become president, two things must happen. 1. The Ibos must team up with at least, 3 other political zone, by soliciting their support and earning their trust like my friend. 2. Providence, like the one that brought GEJ to power. But 2 still depends on 1.

Anything other than this would be mere wishes. Azikiwe and Alex Ekweme understood this while Awolowo was busy wasting away.

You need others to succeed or secede.

Hello Nlders,

I'm an ardent reader and follower of this great forum.
So,I had to create this acct for personal reasons.

To avoid lengthy episodes permit me to keep it simple by going straight to the point. Thanks

As a young lady who's in her early 20s I find it extremely difficult to love a guy not to talk about being in a relationship with one.

There is this guy who can't just help but to love me passionately. We've been together for 9yrs now but who would believe we had sex just once? YES! Just once after enough fighting and struggling.
Sometimes,I had to lock myself inside to weep cuz it's painful and it hurts! Why can't I have normal sex like any other lady out there?

I just detest having sex with a guy and it's as a result of this that I've lost most of my relationships. This stuff is making me sick cuz I want to enjoy sex with a man like any other lady.

THE MAJOR PROBLEM IS THAT AM "BIsexual" but a larger part of me hungers for same sexsad

And the ladies are not even helping matters cuz they also yearn for me every now and then.,
,
I've tried hanging out with some cool guyz even to the extent of doing stuff with them YET! Nothing positive came out.

Presently,am dating a banker and believe me every other thing is perfectly in order EXCEPT the issue of sex.

Am worried cuz I know exactly what it means for someone you love so dearly to deny you of something.

I've prayed
I've also cried my eyes out
I've even gone for counselling @least to ameloriate this kind of lifestyle YET! Things are still the same.
Someone should pls tell me what else to do...

Mediocrity and not excellence is the order of the day in virtually all of service life in Nigeria. Abroad even veterinary doctors wouldn't have acted this way. The sad thing is that someone would trivialize this "in the interest of so called peace". I am gutted and sad. 2) Private jets actually hamper evangelism by consuming more time, effort and money than a commercial flight; The time and effort needed to maintain a private jet and keep it running is ridiculous when one considers the fact that a commercial flight is a far cheaper and less tedious service to use for global evangelism. As a private jet owner, you will have to think about numerous issues such as the pilot’s fees and demands, the scheduling of the maintenance or repairs of the plane, and also the international restrictions/laws regarding the flight of the private jet. This means that a private jet owner will have less time to think about preaching the word of God because of all the time and effort spent on the private jet’s issues. A first class commercial flight will only involve buying your ticket online, checking in and then going early for your flight- isn’t that just easier?

This logic and conclusion to me is silly. As the MD of my company, I would be more efficient with tools for effectiveness like a car and a driver to take me around. Do I have to bother about mechanics fixing my official car? No! Do I have to bother about paying the driver? No would these make me more effective? Yes. So how is this different with having a private jet? No more jetlag, cancelled flights, bookings, e.t.c

With owning private jets being the new trend for Nigerian pastors at the moment, I keep wondering whether Jesus would agree to have one if He were in the shoes of these same pastors today. Pastor Ayo Oritsejafor, Bishop David Oyedepo, Enoch Adeboye and Pastor T.B. Joshua are Nigerian pastors reported to have private jets.

As a christian who believes a lot in humility, I disagree with the ownership of such luxurious vessels in the name of evangelism. Here are the reasons why I feel that private jets are not necessary for christian leaders;

1) Diplomats and International business executives manage travelling a lot without it; there are many jobs that require a lot of travel such as being a diplomat or an international aid worker or a top level executive of an international firm. A lot of people travel frequently and globally as part of their job without the aid of a private jet and so, why can’t pastors do the same? Some of the rich business executives probably travel more than these pastors. Even the pope doesn’t own a private jet, and he is responsible for all catholic churches across the world! Honestly, it is hard to muster up an excuse for a pastor’s private jet when even the pope doesn’t own one.

A first class commercial flight will only involve buying your ticket online, checking in and then going early for your flight- isn’t that just easier?

3) Jesus rode on donkeys and not on chariots; horses and chariots were the highest level of transport in biblical times but Jesus chose to humbly enter the city of Jerusalem with a donkey in what we know as the triumphal entry in the New Testament. Conversely, we have pastors riding on the highest levels of transports in the form of private jets that reeks of the very materialism that Jesus speaks against in Matthew 6;24.

4) Private jets are bad for the Nigerian economy; private jets and planes in general are not manufactured in Nigeria and so, a lot of the repairs and maintenance will require importation of labour and spare parts from countries like the USA or Canada. This also means that lot of transactions will be done in thousands of Dollars, rather than our local Naira. One can imagine the exorbitant cost to the Nigerian private jet owner if he or she has to pay the pilots, technicians and mechanics in Dollars given that the exchange rate doesn’t favour the Naira. Should a church really contribute to this leakage to our economy?

5) Private jets do not help the image of Nigerian leaders; one has to consider the bad image our Nigerian leaders have in the eyes of the foreign press- flamboyant and corrupt people who care little for the suffering of their impoverished masses. A pastor owning a private jet worth millions of dollars while many of his church members struggle to survive everyday is not going to help such an image. Whatever happened to the John the Baptist type of preachers who lived a chaste life not corrupted by the illusions of vanity? I think some of our religious leaders should learn from Jose Mujica, a man who chose a simple life despite wielding so much power and influence as the president of Uruguay.

Pope and those business executives don't travel to countries and cities who receive one international flight weekly or bi-weekly. They only travel to cities that have thousands of inbound and outbound flights daily. So it is much easier for them not to own one. But these men of God travel to those remote areas and still want to keep up with other schedules. So instead of getting stucked in such cities of countries for weeks, a private jet is needed.

Compassionate leave: Emmanuel Adebayor has been given time off by Spurs.

Emmanuel Adebayor has been given compassionate leave by Tottenham after revealing he contemplated suicide.

He has already been ruled out of Sunday’s final game of the season against Everton and he will not go on their post-season tour of Malaysia and Sydney.

It means he has almost certainly played his last game for the club.

The troubled Togolese striker, 31, has held urgent talks with his club after the latest round of his explosive public war of words with his family.

Mirror Sport today published his disturbing allegations that he had to be talked out of killing himself by his sister Iyabo.

He should listen to his family now that the family has listen to him through all his write ups. The entire family and his biological brother couldn't have been so bad not to have one reasonable person among them. He should use his wealth to impact his family, kanu nwankwo afterall impact Nigeria why can't he just contribute to his family? Not too much to ask, in my own opinion. Or he should use politics to conquer by getting few of his family member on his side. Use your money and your brain. You would need both someday.
Religion / Re: This Madness On Marriage Has Got To Stop In The Church. by ebosed: 12:06pm On May 17, 2015
For All your rants. I will never support any Pentecostal to marry a catholic from my experience. They make you swear to an oath that you would bring up your children in the way of the catholic faith (note, catholic faith not Christian faith) and also make your pastor sign to that oath. My pastor refused to sign the oath after seeking clarification with the priest of the meaning of the oath which includes:

1. That my wife and children will/must continue with the catholic faith even if I refused to be a catholic.
2. That we (my wife and children) must remain catholic till death.

How can I guaranty that?

My Pastor Refuse to sign the Oath. The priest refused to joined us except I sign the oath and my pastor signs.

We ended up getting married in a Pentecostal church, and my pastor joined us. But just imagined what would have happened if my wife had insisted we get married in catholic church

Don't just write about things you know little about. RESEARCH before you begin to spew rubbish. You can not understand IT IF YOU DONT TASTE IT.
