Other airports are named after someone from the state or region, only port Harcourt was named after Obaemi Awolowo who is from another region.

Exactly, so I don’t understand naming Okadigbo at Ebonyi Airport whereas only PH and Maiduguri were named after non-indigenes which were indeed very powerful men; Awolowo and Buhari respectfully.

Bearing in mind that this post can influence the holder of the office to snatch the presidential candidacy of the party in 2031.

It will naturally go to the North to ensure power balance since Tinubu was the national leader (a southerner) when Buhari was president.

Stop acting like Ebonyi has arrived, we still have along way to go and we need all the encouragement,support we can get from our brothers. I was at abakaliki last week, even with the beautiful environment,the place look deserted and lonely.

it actually looks deserted. Policies that will encourage permanent arrival of people to Ebonyi should be encouraged. And not visits. Policies like state civil service recruitment in tens of thousands. Job opportunities and free but quality basic education.
