https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VGwqvfThri0 The All Progressives Congress, APC, presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu has been mocked for visiting former President Olusegun Obasanjo. Tinubu met with Obasanjo at his residence in Abeokuta, Ogun State on Wednesday. The meeting between the Southwest political leaders was believed to be a consultation. Reacting, Deji Adeyanju, an Abuja-based rights activist, said Tinubu’s visit to Obasanjo indicated that politics is something else. Adeyanju recalled how the APC presidential candidate once called Obasanjo an election rigger. He recalled how Tinubu asked Nigerians not to take Obasanjo seriously for criticizing President Muhammadu Buhari in 2019. In a tweet, Adeyanju urged Nigerians against fighting themselves over politicians. According to Adeyanju: “Tinubu who called Obasanjo an election rigger who should not be taken seriously when he criticized Buhari in 2019 today has spent hours with Obj consulting. Politics is something else. “Don’t fight each other over politicians. They are not worth it. I know them very well. “They are all extremely close friends and business associates. Go and hustle so you can tell them to their faces to Getat! There’s nothing they hate more than that.” https://dailypost.ng/2022/08/17/tinubu-mocked-for-visiting-obasanjo-after-criticizing-ex-president/ cc: lalasticlala, mynd44, mukina2, seun

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9UrxYgc9UPA A video of Nnamdi Kanu, the leader of Indigenous People of Biafra giving instructions to his followers to go on a wave of destruction and attacks, in the guise of the #EndSARS protest around October 2020 has resurfaced in the social media. The video emerged just some two months to the planned 2nd anniversary of the protest by IPOB members in Lagos. According to an announcement, Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi, being supported by the separatist group, is billed to address the gathering. In several versions of the video in circulation, which offer a disturbing deconstruction of the protests, Kanu’s voice can be heard crisply and clearly handing instructions to his army of IPOB activists to burn down “Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s hotel”, which in his imagination was the Oriental Hotel in Lekki Lagos. He told them to attack Governor of Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu. He also instructed them to kill policemen and burn down their stations throughout the country. The Oriental Hotel, a Chinese owned hotel that Kanu said should be targeted is located near the Lekki Toll Gate, the redoubt of the IPOB activists turned #EndSARS protesters. The hotel survived the planned arson after it sought reinforcement by security men and also issued a statement debunking rumours of Tinubu’s ownership. But the head office of TVC and Radio Continental, which the IPOB activists alleged was owned by Tinubu was burnt down, with investment of over N5billion going up in flames. Historic buildings such as the colonial high court building at Igbosere, in Lagos, many police stations, BRT Terminus in Oyingbo, a theatre at Opebi, owned by Lagos state government, were all burnt down. The toll gates at Lekki and Ikoyi Link Bridge were burnt, as well. A conservative estimate put the cost of the properties destroyed at over N2 trillion “The protest is going on now, no going back. They think it was like before when you come, you shoot, shoot, you go and commission of enquiry”, Kanu says in the video. “Any where you see Sanwo-Olu, you attack him. Tinubu’s hotel must be burnt down. Burnt down, mad people Nigeria”, he says. A caller breaks the broadcast: “Where are you calling from,” Kanu asked. The caller identifies himself in a cracked voice and says he is calling from somewhere in South east Nigeria: Nnamdi Kanu: What is happening, you lost your voice. Were you leading the protest today? Were you the one leading it? The caller speaks about the protest in Onyigbo. Says the police did not attack them as they moved in a procession. But Kanu corrects him and says the name of the town is Obigbo. “If the police move, you move them. You know that is what they use to say to us. If the police try anything, get hold of them, kill them and burn down their police stations. That is the price they are going to pay. “Anywhere they kill somebody, every police station around there should be burnt down to the ground. Every police person caught in the police station should be killed. “They are zoo animals. They think they can intimidate us like before. This is generation 2020. “This generation cannot take any rubbish anymore. Enough is enough. And there is no going back. Another caller from comes online. Nnamdi Kanu identifies the officer who led troops to the Toll Gate in Lagos as an Igbo person. “That is what Fulani does. He is an Igbo man,” Kanu said. https://www.google.com/amp/s/pmnewsnigeria.com/2022/08/14/trending-video-nnamdi-kanu-instructs-ipob-activists-to-burn-tinubus-hotel-attack-sanwo-olu-kill-policemen/%3famp=1 cc: lalasticlala, mynd44, mukina2, seun

bewla:Those of you calling Peter obi leader of IPOB note that if you regard Obi as IPOB leader, then you can also comfortably say that Buhari is the leader of killer herdsmen and Atiku leader of Boko Haram and bandits. Tinubu should also be called the financier of oduduwa Republic and Sunday igboho. For the fact that there is insecurity in Southeast doesn't mean Obi is behind. In fact the level of insecurity in the North is worst and no one is blaming any northern politician for it. It is only foolish and stupid for one to link Peter Obi with IPOB How much has Buhari's administration paid Boko-Haram and bandits in the name of ransom? Despite the whole world calling Fulani herdsmen terrorists Buhari and his fellow northern politicians refused to designate them as terrorists |
Can someone estimate the worth of that building? This is what someone gave freely for Peter Obi to become president. This is what APC and PDP never got and I will never get. Nigerians are ready to sacrifice anything for Peter Obi's presidential ambition. As it stands now, Labour Party office is the most beautiful and most expensive political office in Nigeria |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dWGS7QxLLXI Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State has sued the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Atiku Abubakar; the Sokoto State Governor, Aminu Tambuwal; and the PDP over the conduct of the presidential primary of the party that was held was in Abuja on May 28 and May 29, 2022. In the suit marked FHC/ABJ/CS/782/2022, Wike and a PDP chieftain, Newgent Ekamon, are listed as the plaintiffs. In the originating summons, the PDP is listed as the first respondent while the Independent National Electoral Commission is the 2nd respondent. Tambuwal and Atiku are listed as the 3rd and 4th respondents respectively. During the PDP presidential primary, when aspirants were asked to address delegates, Tambuwal had asked them to vote for him only to return moments later to ask them to vote for Atiku. At the primary, Atiku polled 371 votes while Wike and Bukola Saraki garnered 237 and 70 votes respectively. After the convention, the National Chairman of the PDP, Iyorchia Ayu, described Tambuwal as the “hero of the convention.” In the originating summons, Wike and his co-applicant asked the court to determine eight issues including whether the purported transfer of Tambuwal’s votes to Atiku by the PDP was illegal and void. The plaintiffs asked the court to determine if Tambuwal lost his claim to votes the moment he stepped down for Atiku. He asked the court to determine whether Tambuwal “having stepped down during the primaries ought to lose his votes.” Wike and Ekamon argued that should these issues be determined in their favour, the court should grant nine reliefs including a declaration that the purported transfer of Tambuwal’s votes to Atiku be declared null and void. The plaintiffs are also seeking a declaration that the PDP acted negligently and in bad faith by assigning the Sokoto governor’s votes to Atiku at the primary. They prayed the court to “cancel the transfer of votes and a corresponding order restraining the 3rd respondent (Tambuwal’s) withdrawal in the primary was done after voting had commenced.” The applicants also prayed the court to declare that the PDP and Atiku took undue advantage of Tambuwal’s withdrawal when they allowed the Sokoto governor to persuade delegates to vote for the former Vice-President in the primary. Wike and Ekamon asked the court to order INEC to reject or remove Atiku from “its list of candidates in the 2023 presidential election.” They are also seeking an order commanding the PDP to recount the votes of the primary that was held on May 28 and May 29. Lastly, the applicants are seeking an order of the court “directing the 1st respondent (PDP) to declare the 2nd applicant (Wike), a presidential aspirant in the May 28 and May 29 primary as the winner of the aforesaid primary with a corresponding order directing the 1st respondent (PDP) to forward his name as the candidate to contest the presidential election in 2023.” In a supporting affidavit he deposed to, Ekamon noted that he was a member of the PDP and attested to the fact that Wike won the presidential election. He maintained that Tambuwal withdrew from the contest after voting had commenced and directed that his votes be assigned to Atiku. “The third respondent (Tambuwal) speaking twice before stepping down from the contest, persuaded all his delegates who were going to vote for him to vote for the 4th respondent (Atiku). “The 1st (PDP) and 4th (Atiku) respondents who also wanted the votes desperately agreed with the 3rd (Tambuwal) and assigned 3rd (Tambuwal) respodnent’s votes to the 4th (Atiku) respondent and increased his votes to win the 2nd applicant (Wike). “The 2nd applicant (Wike) won the primaries if the votes of the 3rd respondent (Tambuwal) had not been transferred or assigned to the 4th respondent (Atiku). The PUNCH learnt that the court processes had been served on the PDP at its Wadata Plaza headquarters located at Wuse Zone 5 while a copy had also been delivered to Atiku’s Campaign office in Maitama and the Sokoto State Government’s Liaison Office by the court bailiff. Wike has been at loggerheads with Atiku and Tambuwal since his defeat in the presidential primary. He had lambasted the PDP for allowing Tambuwal to canvass votes for Atiku after he had already been allowed to speak earlier at the convention. “If I wanted to scuttle the convention, I could have done that and I told them… I have never seen how people can violate procedures and guidelines. Somebody had spoken. It is only at that point he was speaking that he could say I have withdrawn. You don’t call him back,” Wike had said. After the primary, Atiku had been advised to pick Wike as his running mate. However, the former Vice-President decided to nominate Governor Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate, a move that further deepened the crisis in the party. Wike and his clique of governors have reportedly demanded the resignation of the PDP national chairman as a condition for them to campaign for Atiku. They argued that the all top positions in the party are being occupied by northerners and Ayu, who is from the North-Central must resign as a concession to the South. However, Ayu has maintained that he would only resign after Atiku emerges the winner of the Presidential election next year. When contacted on the telephone, the National Publicity Secretary of the PDP, Debo Ologunagba, said he was unaware of the case and thus could not comment on it. “I’m just hearing about this case from you. I have not seen the process and thus cannot comment on it,” he said. Also, Atiku’s Spokesman, Paul Ibe, said his principal had not yet been served and thus could not comment on the matter. “We are not aware of the case and have not been served. When we are served, we will respond appropriately. However, the response will be done in the proper manner and not through the media,” Ibe said. Effort to reach Wike on his mobile telephone proved abortive, as it indicated that the calls were being forwarded, even as he had yet to respond to a text message sent to his mobile as of the time of filing this report on Thursday night. Similarly, Mr. Kelvin Ebiri, Special Assistant on Media to the Governor could not be reached as his mobile phone was not connecting, even as he had yet to reply to a text and WhatsApp message sent to him as of the time of filing this report. https://punchng.com/wike-sues-atiku-tambuwal-demands-recognition-as-candidate cc: lalasticlala, mynd44, mukina2, seun

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqjd-N33FVk (Massive crowd welcome Obi at international conference centre Abuja) Peter Obi, presidential candidate of the Labour Party for the 2023 general elections on Thursday said if elected into power, his administration would “use the instruments of job creation and regenerative investments to drastically reduce the high incidence of insecurity and poverty”. POLITICS NIGERIA reports that Obi also promised to ‘move the Nigerian economy from the consumptive to the productive mode’. The former Anambra State governor made these vows while speaking at the Labour Party and The Coalition For Peter Obi (CPO) Leadership Summit at the International Conference Center, Abuja. “From where I stand, I dare to proclaim that Nigeria’s democracy must survive!” Obi said. “The new alliance that we seek is between Nigerian Youths, the Labour Party, which represent Nigerian workers, and Like Minds. Collectively, it is an alliance of the OBIdients! “Going forward, we must look for ways to move Nigeria beyond oil. We must end this criminality called ‘oil subsidy’. Nigeria today is vastly polarised and wrecked by divisions that run deep along religious, ethnic and regional lines. “There is a staggering level of corruption. Our universities have remained closed for over five months. While our healthcare system remains comatose, power generation and distribution are also at an all-time low. “After we win the 2023 elections, we intend to use the instruments of job creation and regenerative investments to drastically reduce the high incidence of insecurity and poverty, while moving the economy from the consumptive to the productive mode. “Undoubtedly, the greatest challenge we face beyond bad leadership, is lack of elite consensus. But, let us not forget Dante Alighieri‘s admonition, that “The hottest places in hell are reserved for those who, in times of great moral crisis, maintain their neutrality.” “History must serve as a tool in our decision-making. The implosion of Nigeria has long been forecasted. Year 2023 could be a tipping point in the annals of our history. But that must not happen, even as the options before the electorate seem stark. “Finally, Our structure is everyone seated in this hall today! Yes, we have structure, and we are ready to move mountains to save Nigeria.” https://politicsnigeria.com/peter-obi-reveals-what-hell-do-if-labour-party-wins-the-2023-elections/ cc: lalasticlala, mynd44, mukina2, seun

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVfJK3cN58Y The Ondo State Security Network (popularly known as Amotekun ) has intercepted a total of 320 persons suspected to be invaders as they were moving into the state from the northern part of the country. The Amotekun Corps made the interceptions in two different operations. The first was on 4 August when they found at least 152 persons around 6 a.m. during a stop and search along Akure-Ado-Ekiti road. A fresh interception of a group of 168 persons was made on Sunday along with nine kidnap suspects. The drivers of the trucks conveying the alleged invaders claimed they were coming from Abuja, Kano, Katsina, and Jigawa States to Ondo State. While addressing journalists in Akure about the incident, after the arrest last Thursday, the Commander of Amotekun in Ondo State, Adetunji Adeleye, said the suspects hid under bags of rice and beans in the trucks, noting that they could not tell their mission in the state. He said that some charms and photographs were found on them while the motorcycles in their possession did not have valid papers. Mr Adeleye further explained that the travellers would be interrogated and profiled before sending them back to their bases. “While searching the vehicles, we saw 10 bikes and various dangerous charms,” he said. “If we check and we do not find anything on them, as long as they don’t have anybody that is ready to take custody of them in Ondo state, we will send them back to their various states.” In October last year, the corps arrested five buses conveying persons with questionable motives from the north to the state. They were found with baggage containing long swords and daggers. LegendHero:Wike will rig and the rigging will not guarantee a win. Rigging will only make you get at most 30% votes. |
Wike is a gangster and all his rigging schemes will be for Tinubu. In the meantime, he is still milking Atiku and deceiving PDP that he is with them. In nutshell, wike is collecting Money from both Tinubu and Atiku and at last Peter Obi will win in Rivers State |
Wike would rather die than to support Atiku. Which means Atiku will get votes from North alone which will pave more way for Peter Obi. God is really working. And Tinubu will be rejected by Christians in both North and South. The only remaining Muslims will have to split their votes for Tinubu and Atiku. Is God not wonderful for Peter Obi? |

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cIcMUuLQNMA Nobel Laureate, Wole Soyinka, has distanced himself from a viral video showing members of the Pyrates Confraternity mocking the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu. In the video, the Pyrates’ members, who marked the 70th anniversary of the group this year, donned their traditional red and white attire, and sang a song about a presidential candidate whose “hands and feet are shaking, yet he is saying ‘it is my turn.’” “Hand dey shake, leg dey shake, baba wey no well we dey shout emi lokan,” they sang during a procession. Tinubu’s emi lokan mantra broke the internet after an outburst of the presidential candidate in Abeokuta, Ogun State capital, in June. Tinubu had said after working for the emergence of President Muhammadu Buhari and progress of APC, it was his turn to be president. In a statement on Monday, Soyinka, who is a renowned member of the group, said he was “frankly appalled” by the lyrics of the song. Soyinka, in the statement titled ‘Interim Statement on a dubious political outing’, distanced himself from such action, saying he was not involved in it. The statement reads: “My attention has been drawn to a video clip making internet rounds, of a dancing and chanting group, in red and white costume, purportedly members of the Pyrates Confraternity. The display acidly targets a presidential candidate in the awaited 2023 elections. “Since the whole world knows of my connection with that fraternity, it is essential that I state in clear, unambiguous terms, that I am not involved in that public performance, nor in any way associated with the sentiments expressed in the songs. “Like any other civic group, the Pyrates Confraternity is entitled to its freedom of expression, individually or collectively. So, also is Wole Soyinka in his own person. I do not interfere in, nor do I attempt to dictate the partisan political choices of the Confraternity. “I remain unaware that the association ever engages in a collective statement of sponsorship or repudiation of any candidate This is clearly a new and bizarre development, fraught with unpredictable consequences. “In addition, let me make the following cultural affirmation. I have listened to the lyrics of the chant intently and I am frankly appalled. I find it distasteful. I belong to a culture where we do not mock physical afflictions or disabilities. Very much the contrary. The Yoruba religion indeed designates a deity, Obatala, as the divine protector of the afflicted, no matter the nature of such affliction. This sensibility is engrained in us from childhood and remains with us all our lives. It operates on the principle of mortal frailty to which all humanity remains vulnerable. “One of my favorite authors, about whom, by a coincidence, I had cause to write quite recently, was CLR James, author of The Black Jacobins, Beyond A Boundary etc. etc. I called him my ideological uncle. He suffered from Parkinson’s Disease, but remained alert, lucid and combative for decades after the onset of the disease. We interacted politically at the Tanzanian pan-African Congress, the Dakar Festival of Negro Arts and a number of other cultural and political fora. We met frequently in his lifetime, dined together in restaurants, despite his challenge. it would be unthinkable, and a desecration of his memory to be part of any activity that mocked his affliction. According to him, a further statement would be issued when he had made further enquiries into “this strange, uncharacteristic outing of the association.” https://dailytrust.com/soyinka-distances-self-from-those-who-mocked-tinubu-in-public cc: lalasticlala, mynd44, mukina2, seun

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6CJs13-3xY Watch video of the APC governors in Rivers State commissioning projects |
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q6CJs13-3xY The Governor of Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu has arrived in Rivers State for the commissioning of some projects done by the government of Governor Nyesom Wike in the state. A video shared on Twitter by the Chief Press Secretary to the Lagos State Governor, Gboyega Akosile shows the moment Sanwo-Olu was received upon arrival by Wike. The video also captured the Ebonyi State Governor, David Umahi as the three Governors exchanged pleasantries and laughed together as they embraced and shared banters. As earlier reported by Naija News, Wike had invited his counterpart in Lagos State, Babajide Sanwo-Olu to inaugurate the Orochiri-Worukwo flyover today, Monday, 8th August, 2022. Umahi on his part had been in Rivers State where he held a closed-door meeting with Wike on Sunday. Wike’s Move Unsettles PDP Leaders The decision by Governor Wike to ignore chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) and invite stalwarts of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to commission projects in Rivers State is reported to have caused jitters within the PDP circle. It is understood this is the first in a long time that the former presidential aspirant would not invite top members of the PDP to commission projects. Governor Wike in the programme scheduled to start on Monday invited Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu to inaugurate the Orochiri-Worukwo flyover. A former Governor of Sokoto State would be in the State on Tuesday to inaugurate the Ogbum-Nu-Abali Eastern Bypass dualised road. The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila was invited to inaugurate the House of Assembly quarters on Friday, while former Governor of Ondo State, Olusegun Mimiko would commission the dualization of Azikiwe Illoabuchi Road. There’s been an air of uncertainty about the status of Wike following the crisis that has engulfed the PDP over the emergence of the party’s presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar and his decision to pick the Governor of Delta State, Ifeanyi Okowa as his running mate. https://www./2022/08/08/wike-two-apc-governors-land-in-rivers-state-to-commission-projects-video/
