A video showing the moment the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu arrived Ebonyi stadium to kick off his presidential campaign in the state has surfaced on social media.
Naija News understands that Tinubu arrived the venue of the campaign kick-off in the company of his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.

The APC candidate drove in donning the popular Igbo attire, Isiagu, amidst shouts from the crowd who had already stormed the stadium before his arrival.

As Tinubu made his way to the VIP stand, he was also seen in the video waving to the ecstatic crowd.

Meanwhile, the APC Flag bearer, Bola Tinubu was earlier endorsed by Ebonyi monarchs.

The monarchs relayed their endorsement for Tinubu through the Chairman of the Ebonyi Traditional Rulers Council, Eze Charles Mkpuma.

Mkpuma revealed the mind of the monarchs during a town hall meeting on Wednesday night with Tinubu at the new Ebonyi State Executive Chambers, Ochudo Centenary City, Abakaliki.

The monarchs on Wednesday urged Tinubu to zone the office of the Senate President to Ebonyi if he emerges President.

Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi on Sunday attended the Trem Kingdom Life conference in Lagos as he fellowshipped with worshippers.

The LP flagbearer was seen in a video being greeted by a rapturous congregation who were excited at seeing him in their midst.

When asked to speak to the congregation by the Presiding Bishop of TREM, Bishop Mike Okonkwo, Obi expressed delight and gratitude over the rapturous reception he was given.

The former Anambra State governor described the country as a great one, stating that everyone must come to rescue it.

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a 56-year-old widow, Mrs. Ajisegiri Kehinde Sidika, with 400grams of cocaine concealed in her footwear.

The suspect, a mother of four, was arrested at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos while allegedly attempting to traffic the illicit drugs to Makkah, Saudi Arabia.

NDLEA’s spokesperson, Femi Babafemi, disclosed this in a statement on Sunday, November 20.

According to him, the suspect who claims to be a businesswoman trading in adults and childrens wears on Lagos Island was intercepted on Sunday, November 13, while trying to board a Qatar Airways flight going to Saudi Arabia via Doha.

Upon a critical examination of the pair of sandals she was wearing, two parcels of cocaine weighing 400grams were recovered from them.

The presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu, has given reasons he stopped paying attention on articles, stories and trending issues on social media.

The Lagos state former governor stated that reading articles on social media gives him ‘high blood pressure’.

APC presidential candidate disclosed this in a video posted on Twitter by one of his allies, Ademola Oshodi.

In the video clip, former Lagos State governor said he gets angry whenever he reads articles on social media.

“I don’t read social media anymore; they abuse the hell out of me. If I read it, I get high blood pressure and angry.

“I don’t read it, so if I want to hear anything; my children or my workers will say this one said this, and when I’m tired, I say please forget it.”

Controversial Nigerian singer, Portable, has sacked all his studio workers for making only N7,000 in one month while he was away on a European tour.

The Zazzu exponent who announced this on his Instagram page on Thursday, revealed that the workers made only N7,000 within the period he was on his European tour, which was a little over a month, whereas he makes as much as N15 million from his studio in five days.

Portable said he had no option but to fire all his staff at his Zeh Nation studio for not making reasonable amount of money in his absence.

Posting a video alongside the post, Portable said he asked those working in his studio to leave because they refused to blow and were only after his money and wondered if it was a crime for him to help them by giving them jobs.

“I rebrand my studio, people I put in my studio refused to blow, I build studio, they didn’t deliver my money, them dey chop my money.

Fresh Court Documents have indicated that the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu may be disqualified from the 2023 Presidential Elections.

According to West Africa Weekly, Tinubu was recently dragged to a Federal high court in Abuja by a lawyer and civil advocate Barrister Mike Enahoro-Ebah for allegedly committing Perjury in his Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Form EC9.

Information contained in the court documents reveal damning evidence of wrongdoing by the APC presidential candidate including document forgery, perjury and potentially even an instance of identity theft.

It was discovered that Tinubu’s INEC Form EC9 (AFFIDAVIT IN SUPPORT OF PERSONAL PARTICULARS – Particulars of persons seeking elections to the office of President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria) contained a lot of discrepancies in the aspect of his Date of Birth, Academic Records, Citizenship and Identity records.

Date Birth

Court Documents reveal that Tinubu, on his EC9, Tinubu gave his date of birth as March 29, 1952. However, Tinubu who claims to be an alumnus of Chicago State university, had a different date of birth on the university’s records.

Furthermore, Tinubu’s EC9 contained no details of any secondary school attended in Nigeria.

Citizenship

Court documents reveal that Tinubu indicated in his EC9 form that he has no other citizenship or nationality other than Nigerian as can be seen below;

However, University records show that Tinubu registered as a ‘Black American’. It should be noted that Section 137 of the 1999 constitution precludes certain public office holders including the president, state governors and members of the Senate and Federal House of Representatives from holding dual citizenship. What is known for a fact in any case, is that if Tinubu was indeed “Black American,” i.e. in possession of U.S. citizenship, that would mean that he committed perjury by failing to declare it on his EC9.

Identity

An Academic Transcript from Chicago University which was part of Subpoenaed documents from the institution also highlighted another major problem in Tinubu’s credentials.

The transcript for “Bola A. Tinubu” from Southwest College (later renamed Richard J. Daley College), which was used to process the ex-governor’s admission into the university registered the sex of “Bola A. Tinubu” as ‘Female’ with an “F.”

West Africa Weekly reports that the University disclosed that it possessed no records that contain clear information about who exactly “Bola A. Tinubu” was. No passport, no visa, no social security card, and no driver’s licence.

Few days ago, davido posted a video of himself and his son in a swimming pool where he was teaching the 3 years old how to swim.

However, children learn faster and will try to do what is being taught them.

The Ifeanyi Adeleke went to practice what his father David taught him and he got drowned and died.

So nairalanders, not every thing you teach little children so that they will not practice it when no one is watching.

Ifeanyi Adeleke, the 3 year old son of Music star, Davido and his fiancee, Chioma Rowland has sadly died.

The tragic death occured on Monday, October 31. 

Ifeanyi died by drowning at his dad's Banana Island home. He was rushed to Evercare Hospital in Lekki where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The couple had traveled for a family gathering to Ibadan yesterday and had left Ifeanyi with his minders who can't explain how he entered the pool without being noticed and drowned. 

We gathered that some of the people at Davido's House when the incident happened have been arrested. 

A distraught and inconsolable Davido was removed from Evercare Hospital and taken to his father's house where he remains as at press time. 

Quite a number of Davido's industry friends are at the hospital this night.

This is so sad. May God give Davido and Chioma the fortitude to bear this deep loss.

Suspected thugs said to be armed with guns and other dangerous weapons on Sunday, October 23, attacked the campaign train of the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos State, Olajide Adediran, popularly known as Jandor, leaving a journalist and others injured in the attack.

A statement released by the state party publicity secretary, Hakeem Amode, says Jandor and his political train were in Badagry for campaigns when the hoodlums attacked them at Ikoga Junction area.

The statement read

“The campaign train of the candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party was attacked today while returning from visitation to members of the party at the Ikoga Junction area of Badagry Local Government by All Progressives Congress sponsored thugs this evening.

The attack led to injuries of several members of Jandor’s entourage and pressmen. As of the time of this press statement, one of the news reporters is in critical condition in an undisclosed hospital while those injured are been treated.

The thugs that attack the campaign train were shouting APC while shooting guns and using dangerous weapons.

You will recall that our party raised concern over the threat to use APC-sponsored thugs to attack the campaign programs of our Gubernatorial candidate Dr Abdul-Azeez Olajide Adediran-Jandor recently and we would like to state categorically that this will not deter the determination of our candidate to campaign for the next election

We would like to call on the Commissioner of Police of Lagos state and the Area Commander of Police in the Badagry division to do everything possible to fish out those behind the attack and necessary disciplinary actions taken against them to forestall such occurrences in the future and to instill confidence in our members that they will be protected during this campaign period.

We would like to also strongly warn those that are hell-bent on causing trouble or planning to disrupt the campaign and elections that we would not fold our arms and watch as we will resist all forms of intimidation.”

Fast rising Nigerian artiste, Habeeb Okikiola with the stage name Portable has openly endorsed a presidential candidate ahead of the 2023 general election.

The singer who recently shot a music video for his latest song ‘Aza Man’ took to his Instagram page to disclose the amount of money he spent on shooting the video.

Portable revealed that the music video which was shot in France cost him almost 20 million naira.

The presidential candidate of Labour Party Peter Obi and his running mate Datti Baba-Ahmed on Monday visited popular Islamic cleric Ahmad Gumi at his residence in Kaduna State.
Obi, a former governor of Anambra State, was in Kaduna for the Arewa Joint Committee.
“Dr Datti Baba-Ahmed and I stopped by for a courtesy call on Sheikh Gumi at his official residence in Kaduna,” the 61-year-old tweeted.
Obi, in recent times, has visited northern powerbrokers and thought leaders including the Emir of Kano, Aminu Ado Bayero; and the Chairman of Northern Elders Forum, Ango Abdullahi. He also visited former Heads of State, Ibrahim Babangida and Abdulsalami Abubakar.
In a Channels Television‘s interview, Baba-Ahmed said those who think Obi and himself are not received in Northern Nigeria don’t know what they are saying.

“Whoever thinks that Labour Party or Obi-dient movement or Peter Obi as an individual is not being welcomed in the north, they are making a huge mistake.
“Awareness has been very high in the north. What happens is that northerners listen more to the politicians and the politicians seem to have more impact on the populace in the north and awareness is pretty high,” he said.
