"Sambisa News" ...Interesting. This is the silliest excuse I've ever read from a government agency. Are they by implication saying that members of the armed forces are above the law even when they are caught (with evidence) in unauthorised acts? People should be made to face the maximum consequences for their inhuman acts. |
mercenary:What more can tompolo do than to pollute the environment of his "people" through pipeline vandalism and economic sabotage? He's only making their lives more miserable by degrading their lands and depriving them of their means of livelihood - which are fishing and farming. Tompolo has committed, and is still committing serious crimes to enrich himself. That's why he's a billionaire. Don't be deceived into thinking that he has the interest of the communities at heart. If he loved the Niger-delta a bit, he will never blow up the tiniest pipelines and pollute the land. |
mercenary:You obviously don't know what the an end to criminality and impunity signifies. And, how lowd can he sound when he's ready to be heared? |
comos:Arrogant amplification of willful ignorance is grossly endemic among you PDP kids. I'm not surprised - cos that's what happens when you support a party and politicians with no proven integrity and track records. Who is Hon. Patrick Osayimwen? Which constituency is he representing? What party does he belong? |
Ezenwammadu:You know next to nothing about strategy and power play. Most of those heads of parastatals that prepared the budget were highly compromised moles from PDP. They can go at any length to do things that will create public disaffection and disrepute to this administration. Saraki is safeguarding their interests, and vice-versa. Buhari deserves what he gets, though, because so far he doesn't seem to be smart and proactive enough. He's being too complacent. He may continue to be schooled by "small boys" all the time. But I doubt if he will ever learn - either due to his age, or because he listens to the wrong people when it matters most. I won't be surprised if Saraki (and his reprobate backers) eventually comes out the winner at the end. |
True said. The shameful hullabaloo surrounding the budget is obviously the handiwork of Saraki and his cronies. Saraki can never win any form of public sympathy nor gain any credibility no matter what desperate measures he take to discredit and blackmail this government. A thief is a thief. Even GEJ knows that. |
LRNZH:The G-whatever has served its political purpose. You don't deify or attach past glory (if there was any) to compromised politicians. The concept of integrity is just another word for convenience. |
TippyTop:You're just being conveniently silly. Tafida was Jonathan's campaign DG in 2011. He helped your cleulessly ineffectual hero win that election. |
Nigeria with its fair weather politicians. Less than a year after losing power, they cannot stand firm to rebrand and rebuild the PDP which they have looted our treasury to sustain in 16years. These feable minded reprobates are too much in a hurry to escape the rigours of opposition politics. |
55? That's a big, fat Anyim lie! |
This is one of the greatest effect of materialism in the lives of pastors. Christ embassy is over-commercialsed. This makes it very easy for its top leadership to compromise at the slightest opportunity. I left them long ago. |
onatisi:It is the intelligent comments, arguements and debates by cerebral posters that drags a topic to such number of pages. This group of posters have maintained a low profile due to one embarrasing (and very ungrateful) ban or the other. What you have today are shallow comments like "ok", "thats good" etc. How far can a post go with such empty comments? |
Thats the truth. When you get banned (unjustly), the zeal of posting dies down. And before long, you lose interest alltogether. Nairaland mods just issue bans as if you have something to lose if you're not able to post for some days. Even Facebook sends users emails if they are not active for some days. But Nairaland reward your loyalty with incessant bans for childish reasons. Who are the people that make a topic to grow into upto 6pages? The intelligent posters of course. Most of them have... |
Obiagelli:Agencies are the nerve centers of any government. The problem with Nigeria is in the method of recriuting the personnel. The research and findings of these agencies is what a serious country need to move forward. But the nepotistic rulers of Nigeria would rather fill them with incompetent tribal affiliates. |
I would've thanked them for their service to the nation but i believe that such acknowledgement is already included in their sack letters. I hate repetitions. Moreso, most Naija public office holders see their positions not as a privilege to serve and contribute, but as a lifetime opportunity to steal, to eat, to rule and to be served. That said, good luck to them. |

Packaging or not, the mode of dressing is very unnecessary. It doesn't befit his trade...if you ask me. ![]() |
NANS has gone to the dogs. It is now an instrument for political clientelism and sychophancy. It will take a long time for Nigeria's apex students association to recover - if it ever would. |

g4everybody:Do you have any problem with waging a war against corruption? And what is zombeic about supporting the government attempt to stamp out corruption and thievery, steps that will ultimately culminate into a better life and country for us all? Should we take your statement to mean that you just stumbled on the word "zombie" and rushed to use it without first finding out what it means? |

Should we take your statement to mean that you just stumbled on the word "zombie" and rushed to use it without first finding out what it means? Dino is currently enlisting the excorts and corrupt like-minds ready with their placards and banners. **** It's gonna be a series of shameful, bumpy rides from the NASS to the CCT. |
quid:You and your patrons will be so glad if this anti-corruption crusade fails. But keep wailing in the hell that the Buhari administration has placed you. Your likes have no place in the new Nigeria where sanity, probity, integrity and accountability are key values that must be upheld. |
Nigerians and posterity will not be kind to this administration if it succumb to the proponents of corruption and their antics. |
This looks good. But the Oba of Benin does not receive visitors so casually like this. Not even a president. The revered king is yet to understand the enormous powers that he wield. Well, congrats to chief Rotimi Amaechi. |
It's election year in Edo state. PDP will go at any length to create negetave public perception and disaffection for Adams Oshiomole since they have no good and credible records or legacies to campaign on. |
umehmj:No mind the deluded dude. Dem dey talk better thin him dey mention Islam. I be wan tell am to shut up b4 but I thought it better to ignore him. Islam is replete with hypocrisy and contradictions. |
