Way to go. If you want to punish the very rich and powerful for his crimes, make a big show and scapegoat of him to serve as deterrence. Unfortunately, most Nigerians will not be able to watch it live due to lack of power supply and the pervading existence of more pressing issues of survival. |
Let sheriff stay put. Boko haram is PDP's true identity. And, what better person to man the nest of killers than the notorious founder and chief sponsor of the Islamic terror organisation? Okukpe could not dare to mention the Boko link for fear of lawsuit ![]() |
sinkhole:LOL! Na man you be. You no be female. |
Gory! Indeed, hell has no fury like a woman scorned. |
BornnAgainChild:Looks familiar, right? ![]() |
BADNEAT:Saraki is not the only lawmaker under scrutiny by the ccb. His case has generated too much publicity due to the important position he currently occupies and the specific interests it serves especially to the PDP. An APC federal lawmaker from my (Edo) state (very loyal one at that) suffered same fate and even worse (because he was actually detained) by the ccb. Any wonder why no one is talking about it? |
BADNEAT:I believe the administration would want an accelerated trial of all corruption cases. But what do you always say when indicted criminals keep obtaining court injunctions and appeals to stop the trial from commencing properly? "Rule of Law" I guess! |
@realestworld, I doubt if Saraki will survive the 4years term. If that happens, it will be the biggest failure of Buhari's administration because it will be bedevilled with a myriad of intrigues from the senate. The president's competence was never really put to test in the prelude to the elections, anyway. |
BADNEAT:When a conspicuous criminal relentlessly sabotages the government, the government must do everything (within its powers) to get him out of the way. The war on corruption has to start from the top and powerful to serve as a deterrence. There are many fraudsters in the parliament but you don't expect Buhari to turn the NASS into a labour camp. It's one thing at a time. |
realestworld:It's real madness indeed. Yet, it depends on the side that you accuse of inflicting pains on the people. Saraki is a criminal and one of the main duties of government is to fight crime. Considering the budget imbroglio and the continued sabotage on the economy by Saraki nd his cronies, this is a practical demonstration of "where two elephants fight, it is the grass that suffers".. But it is very clear who is fighting a just cause and who is acting as a villain. But I blame Buhari whose docility and complacency caused all this mess. He told us that he was ready to work with whoever emerges at the NASS. He made Tinubu an object of ridicule in the process. But now... |
Darkseid:Yeah, i remember. That was waaay lond ago ![]() What was it all about bro? |
Really? |
DesChyko:Saraki is being delusional. He will still continue to act like the boss in jail. |
Progressive01:Yeah, its regrettably authentic. The BBC is even reporting exhaustively on it. |
This is bad! The shiite Islamic miscreants deserved to be punished for their misdemeanours, but the reaction from the army was grossly disproportionate. They should not have acted as another uncontrollably vindictive counter-militia. |
BushidoBlue:Unlike you, I have a sharp memory. I doubt if you can even remember the most widely publicised events that happened barely 24 hours ago. You loutish wailers criticise this administration for everything. But you start whining as soon as you are forced to remember how worse Jonathan did. Calling you a hypnotic, irrational hypocrite is an unmerited compliment. |
The CG obviously thought this was the GEJ days where a police commissioner can blatantly assault a sitting governor and still gets speedy promotion. He should be relieved of his job immediately. His being Igbo makes his case much worse before Buhari. |
SpeakForBS2016? What BS exactly? BullShït? |
He was preoccupied with registering his presence at the CCT in solidarity with Saraki. Some people have no honour whatsoever. |
Sunni and Shiite islamic fundamentalists fighting for the soul of thier pissful religion. They should do us a favour by wiping each other off the face of the earth! |
OlujobaSamuel:He shouldn't be seen as taking things personal, no matter the provocation. That would have put more questions about his integrity to preside over the case. We have to be careful to avoid any loophole that Saraki may further capitalize on. |
Greenback:I remain an ever objective maverick, bro. I am only sounding a warning to today's useful idiots with particular reference to one of the major intrigues that marred the GEJ presidency. our people must learn from history if they must survive in this country. |
I hope the president will now declare them as terrorists, since they've started attacking security operatives. Yet some useful idiots will call what's happening in agatu and the ongoing Fulani barbarism across the country as mere propaganda. That was how Jonathan/PDP labelled the reportage on Boko haram activities and even the chibok girls abduction as APC propaganda (heck! The drunkard even went to Kano to dance over it!) until it spiralled out of control. |
anonimi:Granted, Buhari should reduce his foreign trips and pay more attention to salient national issues. But, arguably, his trips haven't recorded any loss but gains for the nation. Only a troll and political jobber from the People's Destruction Party (PDP) will support the conspicuous criminality of Bukola Saraki. That man has succeeded in sabotaging the executive, legislature and the judiciary - all three organs of government that a country requires to perform their functions effectively. Don't ask me how he's done it. I expect you to have at least the tiniest grasp. |
FOLYKAZE:Any wonder why the number of senators that follow Saraki to the CCT has reduced drastically? ![]() The masses have given the sinators the call of "change". |
Jorussia:Trust me, some of them will soon change their phone lines...If they haven't already. ![]() |
Finally some senators are acting as the representatives of the people and not Abobakus of Saraki. |
Saraki should resign or be impeached immediately. He's dragging the Senate into too much ridicule and disrepute. |
Ebukaobi:What an incongruous, ultra-idiotic rant from a hypnotic low life turd! My opinion on major issues is well known on this board. Who says I don't support Buhari? How could you be so stupid to think that the fulani terror is about PDP Vs APC? Lots of ardent buharits (some of them, APC leaders) have been killed. Fulani criminality and barbarism predates the present administration, all right. So according to your demented mind, Buhari should continue to do nothing meaningful to end their terror? Is the president not waging war against corruption and almost putting an end to the onslaught of Boko haram - key evils that defined the Jonathan ruinous reign? The Yoruba nation can do a lot without you traitors. You blamed Olu Falae (a prominent Yoruba chief) for not supporting Buhari in the last election instead of condemn his recent (and current) ordeal in the hands of your fulani overlords. You read how omenka took his time to explain his points as a sound man that understood what I meant even though I was less flattering in my post. But you just have to be a repugnant, nauseating troll. Calling you a hypocrite is an insult to those who truly are (you obviously have no grasp of what it means, anyway). You're just plain silly! |
chukwudi44:How many bills are these party-going senators are aware of before they get passed? Abairibe affirmed that the bill was brought in at the 7th senate. So where is it now? The fact that some senators are oblivious of it does not mean that it doesn't exist in the house. It will be passed even in his absense. If Saraki could emerge in the manner he did, simply means anything can happen. |
omenka:Wake up and stop playing the ostrich, bro. You're better than this! The fulani threat is REAL. No matter how U feel. Being an APC/Buhari apologist doesnt mean you shouldnot think outside the box. |
