Agree completely wit OP. As a matter of fact, u beat me to it. Gone r d days wen NL was a place to get the news first, verify rumour authencity, meet interesting ppl who are genuinely willing to help you with ur probs, wateva they may be or just hang out n get orig jokes dat just make you feel at home; even when u r already at home.
All u see now is childish talk, tribalism, cyber terrorism, fraudsters, recycled jokes, hidden posts, insults etc.
Why do u comment on a thread if u don't have a meaningful contributn? I have learnt quite a lot frm serious minded ppl here who prefer to view and not comment anymore. Cos their meaning comments ll be conceived as basis for "Garri" talk. Hence, u have close to 1m members but less than 1,000(?) active participants.
I love this forum and I believe we all do, else you won't be here. Let us not push it d way we push everytin in Nigeria; to the point where we have to 'manage' it or destroy it altogether. And then we are d 1st to complain. How abt we all say meaningful things n see how we ll enjoy hanging out together.

Keep deceiving yourselves. I have been a patentee since 2007. Everday u meet different ppl telling same old s**t. The ppl i met then are no longer there. Now, we have new faces selling the same nonsense. U tink Mobil is a filling station; that you can just go there and pump $$$. Goodluck!

danjumaali: This reveal our lack of Maintanance Culture and absence of continuity in our programs and policies.Well i believe this should be a wake up call, hoping the people at the helms of affairs do something to correct this anomaly.
And make sure we don't come back to complain about presently ungoing projects that will also decay tomorrow.
PoliticsRe: Namadi Sambo, Sacked Nnaji, GEJ Did Not. by EdDave(m): 8:54pm On Aug 30, 2012
Its amazing how ppl can so confidently play each other down, shouting with straining veins, over what they don't know about, to the point of being tribalistic and insulting. As if they were there in the cabinet meetings, or why he was made minister et al. How, then, do you know who sacked him or whether he resigned voluntarily. Every tin you have heard is publicised by the MEDIA(anybody with a medium to broadcast what he wants. No thanks to technology).
I don't claim to know the reasons why Nnaji resigned; and abruptly too. All I know is that power improved under his ministry. And all I hope is his successor will continue and do better. God bless Nigeria.
Absord fire...

Then you dont understand the principles of economics at all...

Why should a company absorb you into its workforce, take responsibility for your salary, your insurances, your medicals, your taxes and all other liabilities that come with employing you when they can simply sit back, and every year, the government would supply them with fresh free workers...

My guy use your head jor..
Who said the company ll pay for all that? The FGN ll pay you stipends while they train you. So why won't they retain you after moulding you? Pls read the details of the process b4 commenting.
I just pray it works. That s all. If it works, it ll be better than NYSC.
Jobs/VacanciesRe: FG's SURE-P Graduate-Internship Recruitment 2012 by EdDave(m): 9:56pm On Aug 26, 2012
This is one of the projects Gudluck set up under the fuel subsidy reinvestment programme. I want to believe that, just like YOUWIN (hopefully better), it will see the light of day and better the lives of teeming umemployed graduates. Normally, interns are better paid than corpers and the one year experience is supposed to make them employable or be an employer.
Been waiting for the 'Graduate' section to open for months now. Let's see what they have for us. God dey.

RomanceRe: 45 Things Girls Want, But Won't Ask? by EdDave(m): 9:58pm On Aug 14, 2012
wink
2sexy: I got this on my facebook page. How True?
================================================

45 THINGS A GIRL WANT, BUT
WON'T ASK FOR:
1. Touch her waist.
2. Actually talk to her.
3. Share secrets with her.
4. Give her your jacket. 5.Kiss her slowly.
Are you remembering this?
6. Hug her.
7. Hold her.
8. Laugh with her.
9. Invite her somewhere.
10. Hangout with her and your friends together.
11. Smile with her.
12. Take pictures with her.
13. Pull her onto your lap.
14. When she says she loves you more, deny it. Fight
back.
15. When her friends say “I love her more than you”,
deny it. Fight
back and hug her tight so she can’t get to her
friends. It makes her
feel loved.
Are you thinking of someone?
16. Always hug her and say I love you whenever you
see her.
17. Kiss her unexpectedly.
18. Hug her from behind around the waist.
19. Tell her she’s beautiful.
20. Tell her the way you feel about her. One last
thing you need to do to
show her you actually do mean it.
21. Open doors for her, walk her to her car - it
makes her feel protected, plus it never hurts to act
like a gentleman.
22. Tell her she’s your everything - only if you mean
it.
23. If it seems like there is something wrong, ask her
- if she denies something being wrong, it means SHE
DOESN’T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT - so just hug her.
24. Make her feel loved.
25. Kiss her in front of OTHER girls you know! WE
MIGHT DENY IT BUT WE ACTUALLY LIKE AND KINDA
WANT YOU TO TICKLE US....
26. Don’t lie to her.
27. DON’T cheat on her.
28. Take her ANYWHERE she wants.
29. Text message or call her in the morning and tell
her have a good
day at school, and how much you miss her.
30. Be there for her whenever she needs you, and
even when she doesn’t need you, just be there so
she’ll know that she can always count on you.
ARE YOU STILL READING THIS? YOU BETTER,
BECAUSE IT’S IMPORTANT.
31. Hold her close when she’s cold so she can hold
you too.
32. When you are alone hold her close and kiss her.
33. Kiss her on the cheek; (it will give her the hint
that you want to kiss her).
34. While in the movies, put your arm around her
and then she will
automatically put her head on your shoulder, then
lean in and tilt her chin up and kiss her lightly.
35. Don’t ever tell her to leave even jokingly or act
like you’re mad. If
she’s upset, comfort her.
REMEMBER ALL THESE THINGS WHEN YOU ARE WITH
HER NEXT ..
36. When people diss her, stand up for her.
37. Look deep into her eyes and tell her you love
her.
38. Lay down under the stars and put her head on
your chest so she
can listen to the steady beat of your heart, link your
fingers together while you whisper to her as she
rests her eyes and listens to
you.
39. When walking next to each other grab her hand.
40. When you hug her, hold her in your arms as long
as possible.
MAKE SURE SHE KNOWS SHES LOVED.
41. Call or text her at night to wish her sweet
dreams.
42. Comfort her when she cries and wipe away her
tears.
43. Take her for long walks at night.
44. Always remind her how much you love her.
45. Sit on top of her and tell her how much you love
her and then
bend down to her face and kiss her while you’re
sitting on her.
You’ll never know when she needs just a little more
love .. !tongue
Nice.
U 4got smtin tho'.
Give her a good, nice f**k!ng.
She will neva 4get you.

BusinessRe: CBN Moves To Enhance Mobile Payment System by EdDave(m): 12:11am On Jul 21, 2012
Nigeria has 'managed' everything all her life. Bank capitalisation, Telecommunications, Power generation etc have crawled into our lives over the years, bringing us to where we are today. We do not have to wait for everything to be right before we start mobile banking.
These same criticisms were made when GSM was been introduced in the country. And tho' we may not be where we want to be, we are not where we were years ago. So gradually, we are heading there.

Enjoying wearing my just boxers in and outside the house. I like the freedom. Didn't notice the extended bulge till I was wearing it 1 night on d road and a friend pointed it out. Imagine all the people that would have seen it and said nothing. Family, friends and neighbours.Just can't help it.
