Agree completely wit OP. As a matter of fact, u beat me to it. Gone r d days wen NL was a place to get the news first, verify rumour authencity, meet interesting ppl who are genuinely willing to help you with ur probs, wateva they may be or just hang out n get orig jokes dat just make you feel at home; even when u r already at home. All u see now is childish talk, tribalism, cyber terrorism, fraudsters, recycled jokes, hidden posts, insults etc. Why do u comment on a thread if u don't have a meaningful contributn? I have learnt quite a lot frm serious minded ppl here who prefer to view and not comment anymore. Cos their meaning comments ll be conceived as basis for "Garri" talk. Hence, u have close to 1m members but less than 1,000(?) active participants. I love this forum and I believe we all do, else you won't be here. Let us not push it d way we push everytin in Nigeria; to the point where we have to 'manage' it or destroy it altogether. And then we are d 1st to complain. How abt we all say meaningful things n see how we ll enjoy hanging out together. |
Kai! If she s a born again, I m certain Endtime is near. |
Keep deceiving yourselves. I have been a patentee since 2007. Everday u meet different ppl telling same old s**t. The ppl i met then are no longer there. Now, we have new faces selling the same nonsense. U tink Mobil is a filling station; that you can just go there and pump $$$. Goodluck! |
THREAD LOCKED! |
Does anybody knw anything about Nigerco Nigeria Limited. Jst got called for an interview. I guess they are into weights and measures. How good is the company? Please help. Anybody? |
danjumaali: This reveal our lack of Maintanance Culture and absence of continuity in our programs and policies.Well i believe this should be a wake up call, hoping the people at the helms of affairs do something to correct this anomaly. And make sure we don't come back to complain about presently ungoing projects that will also decay tomorrow. |
Its amazing how ppl can so confidently play each other down, shouting with straining veins, over what they don't know about, to the point of being tribalistic and insulting. As if they were there in the cabinet meetings, or why he was made minister et al. How, then, do you know who sacked him or whether he resigned voluntarily. Every tin you have heard is publicised by the MEDIA(anybody with a medium to broadcast what he wants. No thanks to technology). I don't claim to know the reasons why Nnaji resigned; and abruptly too. All I know is that power improved under his ministry. And all I hope is his successor will continue and do better. God bless Nigeria. |
So this man can even move around. In convoy for that matter. Been expecting this, but not so soon. Bank Ole indeed! |
Absord fire... Then you dont understand the principles of economics at all... Why should a company absorb you into its workforce, take responsibility for your salary, your insurances, your medicals, your taxes and all other liabilities that come with employing you when they can simply sit back, and every year, the government would supply them with fresh free workers... My guy use your head jor..
Who said the company ll pay for all that? The FGN ll pay you stipends while they train you. So why won't they retain you after moulding you? Pls read the details of the process b4 commenting. I just pray it works. That s all. If it works, it ll be better than NYSC. |
This is one of the projects Gudluck set up under the fuel subsidy reinvestment programme. I want to believe that, just like YOUWIN (hopefully better), it will see the light of day and better the lives of teeming umemployed graduates. Normally, interns are better paid than corpers and the one year experience is supposed to make them employable or be an employer. Been waiting for the 'Graduate' section to open for months now. Let's see what they have for us. God dey. |
Ok. Been there, done dat for PC games. Does anybody have any clue where to get interesting android games for phones? The ones around are pretty wack. Need somtin for wen u r on d move, u knw. |

Nigeria has 'managed' everything all her life. Bank capitalisation, Telecommunications, Power generation etc have crawled into our lives over the years, bringing us to where we are today. We do not have to wait for everything to be right before we start mobile banking. These same criticisms were made when GSM was been introduced in the country. And tho' we may not be where we want to be, we are not where we were years ago. So gradually, we are heading there. |
frankmoney: Is it possible to trade forex on mobile? Am using a bb so is dere any software I can download or smtn pls help a broda
Do u mean real $$ or demo? Dats ok. Yes. Heard so much abt mobile trading. How do I do it on BB? Don't have a laptop yet? |
Nigeria has a huge market esp in d mobile industry. Also considering the fast pace in smartphones and mobile technology, I d say mobile apps seem to pull much interest.they are relatively easier to build thereby attracting beginners. Mobile apps it is. |
Enjoying wearing my just boxers in and outside the house. I like the freedom. Didn't notice the extended bulge till I was wearing it 1 night on d road and a friend pointed it out. Imagine all the people that would have seen it and said nothing. Family, friends and neighbours.Just can't help it. |
