it's part of their trianing Multi -engine rating, Instrument rating, and Night rating. as a matter of fact, they wait for bad weather conditions during their training phase in the flight school , to handle situations better. in the case of low visibility, they rely on their instruments (that's why they need instrument rating), and the ATC (Air Traffic Controller), he coordinates traffic in the air, who gives the pilot minute to minute update about the weather condition as he (the ATC) is in direct contact with with metreololgists . They both are under NAMA (Nigerian Airspace Management Agency)

Meteorologists are under NIMET. (Nigerian Meterological Agency) while ATC (Air Traffic Controllers) and ATE (Air Traffic Engineers) are under NAMA.

Nimet deals with weather reports while NAMA offers CNS( Communications, Navigation and Surveillance) to all aircrafts in Nigerian Airspace.
They are two different agencies but work hand in hand.

Wishing you well bro, but I disagree with you on so called bone setters, they are not good for anything, there is a reason an orthopedic surgeon spend all that amount of time in school and research post qualification.. Med/Surg no be beans, let's leave it for the trained.

Many Orthopaedic Drs have referred their patients to local bonesetters. It all boils down to the level of expertise of those involved and the available resources. Like someone said, not all bonesetters know their trade (the best ones mostly use some form of witchcraft, which I find kinda awkward), in same vein some orthopaedic hospitals either lack the expertise or the equipment to handle some fractures.
The first Drs that tried casting my leg did a terrible job. Had to redo it twice. But Dr Aremu and his orthopaedic technician corrected everything just once. All in same hospital.
Same thing applies to local bonesetters.

Some dude left the road and knocked me down and broke my right leg on the 2nd March 2016,(26 days ago) . The orthopaedic team at Fed Med Centre, Jabi did a good job and I m recuperating at home. Might be a couple of weeks but I ll walk again.
Traditional setters are good but don't have xrays to see how well set the bones are. If its a complex fracture, it s advice able to go for an operation. Even a c-arm scan helps the Drs see how to position the bones when applying POP.
Traditional Drs are very good (I have taken people there) but we should get an xray first b4 we decide whether the damage can be handled by them.
