And not forgetting, you would also have to conduct a small surgical operation on your fuse box housing ..... If you shut cable without creating a small pinch, over longer periods of fuse box cover permanently resting on cables (forced shut).... Cable would become weaker and could snap.........

- Extra cables
- Tester (with pincer option)
- DRL lights
- Black electrical masking tape (i completely masked cables from fuse box to DRL lights (extra protection)
- Sticky pads

This will be fun, August ending will be lit. (literally and figuratively, hopefully).

Power was sourced from an empty spot from the fuse box (relay point).......

Finding power source is one, running the cables is another.... If yiu can do this..... You are unto a winner.......

The DRL came with hanging brackets, but i opted for super duper sticky pads + velcro..... Why drill unnecessary holes...........

The most difficult part, was locating power source, that comes on and off at ignition off........... (took almost 90 minutes of pinching cables and testing)...... Which in the end, turned out a wasted effort..........

Chief, I see fog lamps on your bumper, why couldn't they just draw power from their wiring? That way, the DRLs come up when you turn on the fogs, and go off when you turn them off.

Now I know you don't have the slightest idea what you are talking about, a W211 is one of the strongest cars built by Benz and the engine is reliable. You will spend more on a W203 C240 than a 2006 W211 E350 as the E350 hardly breakdown , I owned one in the past and I am talking from experience.

The M272 engine notorious for balance shaft and over heating issues is reliable? My friend, please stop quoting me, I agree you've won.

Oga Dipo no mind am, because I wan sell motor no mean say I go lie give my fellow man. A w211 is an expensive car to maintain. Its an old car, things will definitely fall apart, only a greedy person will see the truth and misrepresent facts because of money.
