Blueelf:I second your opinion, we don't deserve to be there. We ought to re-strategise on our technical team, our players, the hunger and eagerness of our players to winning, loads of work to be done but what I'm seeing on the table, the whole parties of the NFF, technical team, players and even the fans are not ready for any new challenge....winning is still very far from this SE team |

A Story About David Lloyd George, One time Prime Minister of England In England in 1920 there was a graduation ceremony for a batch of new doctors. It was attended by the British Prime Minister of that time. During the ceremony, the head doctor who was in charge of that batch, gave the necessary advice to these new graduates. He told them the following incident which happened with him sometimes back: "It was after midnight, and I heard a knock on my door. It was an old lady, and she said to me: 'O my doctor, my child is sick and in a very serious condition, so please do something to save him. I rushed out to follow her to her house without worrying what will happen. It was a stormy night, and very cold. The rain was pouring down very heavily. I did not fear for my life. Her house was on the outskirts of London, and after a difficult journey, we reached her house. She lived in a small room with her son. When I entered the room, I saw her son at the corner of this room groaning and deeply in pain. After I did my duty towards the sick child, the mother gave me a small bag with money. I refused to take this bag and I told her gently that I can't accept that payment, because I felt sorry for their situation. Then I promised her that I will take care of her child until he gets better." The head doctor continued in his speech by saying: "This is the true profession of medicine, and being a doctor is the closest profession to mercy and one of the closest to God" As soon as the head doctor finished his speech, the Prime Minister jumped out of his seat and headed to the podium. "Permit me Sir, to kiss your hand. For twenty years now and I am looking for you. I am the child you mentioned in your story just now. Oh, my mother will be happy now and she will rest in peace. Her only wish was for me to find you and to reward you, for that goodness you did for us at the time we were living in poverty." That poor child who became the Prime Minister of England was: *"Lloyd George"* Plant goodness wherever you go, even if it is not on your place. Because it will never get lost wherever you will plant it. It is even more nice if your goodness lasts longer. Because no one shall harvest that goodness except the one who has planted it. Doing goodness to others will always purify your heart, and it will fight any kind of evil which comes your way. The owner of goodness does not fall, if he falls he will fall on a pillow to comfort and support him. May God Make us among the people who always do good to others. Please, go outside there and impact lives POSITIVELY! Always *REMEMBER* that, "Those who destroyed others to succeed will surely meet destruction at the Gate of their own success." Great piece to share. #COPIED

JUST LISTENING TO THIS SONG "KARA ONYE ULO ASO" "Ihe na eme anyi si anyi na aka" I am totally disappointed with Soludo. He isn't diplomatic at all. I was holding him in high esteem but with what he keeps vomiting, I have lost confidence. No wonder the Igbos say "Ije nwa okuko adighi egbe mma" Sentiments apart, Peter Obi is the most ideal Nigerian proven that can take the mass suffering Nigerians out of the death sentence our hitherto leaders have sentenced us to. Peter Obi stands as the light. We can't choose darkness in place of light. Oga eme Soludo VUM n'anya. God will see us through. |
Exclusive interview with Dr. Christopher Kolade As long as “emi lokan” is your attitude to leadership, corruption is your bed mate – Dr Kolade EXCERPTS!!! "The reason why fighting corruption here is not successful is because people are looking out for themselves first. People are self-centred. All these people who are aspiring to become this or that, are they thinking about Nigeria? Are they saying I want to come and improve Nigeria? Is that their purpose? No! They are saying it is their turn to come and eat of the fruits of the land. Emilokan? Yes! And as long as that is your attitude, corruption is your bed mate.” It is Dr. Christopher Kolade at his analytical, philosophical best!! The FIFA scandal documentary on Netflix is a must watch for every Nigerian vis-a-vis African. There are huge lessons to take home for the black race regarding his penchance to put personal greed ahead of community good and development. Qatar basically won the hosting right for the world cup by buying up majority of the members in the 22-man committee which voted in the decision to award the 2022 world cup hosting right to the gulf nation. Michele Platini in return for his vote forced the Qataris to enter into an arms deal with France worth billions of dollars, plus buy their aircrafts, and a football club in France (Yeah, that's how they came about PSG). The Brazilians traded their vote for a gas deal which saw the setting up of a fully functional mega gas plant in the Amazon nation. The Africans among them asked for 1.5 MILLION DOLLARS wired straight to their personal accounts. Like bro, you came to the table where nation-changing deals were being made and all you cared for was your personal account balance? Not the millions of lives that could be changed forever? You didn't ask for your country's share of those far reaching deals of epic national proportions worth in the regions of several hundred millions of dollars. Instead you went for a self serving interest thereby denying your people the luxury of a better life? That Netflix docu summed up the mentality of the the African man in its entirety. If you are wondering why it's the richest yet poorest continent, look no further. |
