Romance › 5 Biggest Lies Men Tell On Their First Date by eddie7(op): 8:23am On Jan 29, 2022
This article really got to me as most guys are surely guilty of this effizy and ego tripping. Which part are you guilty of?

To protect some of their privacy, or to just cast themselves in a better light, it is common for men to lie on their first date.

Very rarely do men speak honestly on their first date because they are out there to impress the woman.

They can lie about all sorts of things but there are 5 biggest lies which are common and it is up to you when it comes to forgiving them for the same.

Here is a list of those 5 lies that men tell on their first date.

The job profile

Most men have this issue of exaggerating and lying about their job. They will make it sound like a fortune making company or job even if it is not. Men feel that this attracts women. They feel like it is necessary to show that they are alpha males.

The apartment

Some men feel that if they talk about their apartment in a romantic and cool sense then they have all your attention. Few men reveal the fact that they are living with their parents and even if they talk about it as in India most of us are living with the parents, they will show that they have a different entry point in the house etc.

The laid back attitude

Nobody reveals their anxiety issues on the first date. Men especially, try to show that they are very laid back and independent. Very few admit to the fact that they like to have things in order and that they cannot even boil an egg.

The drinking problem

If he drinks every day, you will not get to know unless you start spending that much time with them. Men know that no woman likes to be with someone who has substance abuse issues. Men do have this tendency to downplay their number of drinks on the first date.

Working out

Being fit today is a major ask so most men try to show that they have just come from a workout, have to go to the gym etc. It may be true but they like to highlight it. They feel that this false aura impresses women and is a fail-proof plan.

The Minister lauded the Federal Fire Service for saving 587 lives, and property worth 18.9 trillion naira in 2021 alone, a feet he described as commendable.

The Minister acknowledged the visionary leadership and invaluable contributions of the immediate past Controller General of the Federal Fire Service, Dr. Liman Ibrahim to the Federal Fire.

The Acting CGF, Karebo Samson while responding on behalf of newly promoted officers, expressed appreciation to President Muhammadu Buhari for the confidence reposed in them, stating that they won’t disappoint Nigerians in discharging their statutory responsibility of saving lives and property of Nigerians.

Nairaland General › 7 Concepts That Can Change Your Life by eddie7(op): 4:44pm On Jan 10, 2022
Fellow NairaLanders, there are concepts you might have never heard that can change your life and perspective.

These concepts help you think outside of the box and break your paradigms to create transformation. Here are 7 concepts that will change your life:

ESSENCE- Be clear about the focus of what your vision is so as not to lose our way, based on the fact that we all have a mission in life.

ANDRAGOGIC - The ability of the human being to learn autonomously, self-supervision, self-motivation, self-evolving in the infinite abundance of love, health, and money.

THE SEARCH FOR UNCERTAINTY - Instead of seeking to be successful, you have to seek to BE successful which occurs in uncertainty because certainty is the mother of mediocrity.

DISRUPTIVE - Breaking with the existing in order to have different angles of reality. Break with the routine to achieve new goals, new challenges, etc.

ASYNCHRONOUS - The freedom of schedule, freedom of parallelism without the need for a sequence or linearity.

DESIGN THINKING- It is the way to explore, define and communicate developing proposals through concepts, thereby breaking restrictive paradigms.

HUMANIST- Based on the idea that we have a responsibility to have a satisfying and happy life, and contributing to the greater good of ourselves and the rest of humanity.

Help yourself grow daily, creating the future you deserve through the constant practice and use of these concepts and others you know. Thanks & may God bless Nigeria

I don't believe a player plying his trade in Turkey with no remarkables and a 19 year old will turn the fortunes of the Senegalese team in one swoop.
Senegal problem is technical.
Anyways, it's my personal opinion & I used the "might" .. I'm not imposing it or 100% certain but my assessing & the pedigree of this squad...the trophy isn't too far from their grip

Of the players that are missing cos of the COVID-19, I do believe that Koulibaly and Mendy are the "most significant" players. Mané played this match, and from the look of things, Senegal still lacks some "spark". The midfield is too stagnant. The attack looks bright but is toothless.
Hmmm & you think Mame Thiam or pape sarr are not vital?: I'm not mentioning thiam or so
