Have you heard a terminology like “delta bini or delta edo? Did you take cognizance of the names of these people and their dialect? Even the names of their towns and communities? Their dress sense? But of course we expect the across the Niger ibos to come forward today and tell us how an IKA man is a lesser ibo man, even when the urhobos, ijaw, itsekiris, isokos all class them as the ibos among them.

This is one of the reasons the average ibo man from places other than the south east should be wary of the southeastern ibos. Their oneness is when power and money is not involved. The moment money or power is introduced, you will see their inherent greed. The very reason am ibo man will never be president is because an ibo man will always sell the ibo tribe to an outside bidder.

I pity my people at the actualization of Biafra which we hope to usher a better life, because the marginalization from the east will dwarf whatever the region experiences from other parts today. You think the average eastern ibo will allow power rotate equitable? Even in delta, they allow it rotate equitable around the 3 geopolitical zones. I graduated from Unizik in 2009 and I saw first hand how power drunk they are, every district, you have an igwe because nobody wants to be subservient to his neighbor. Igwe Nodu, Igwe okpuno, igwe nodu okpuno, igwe every single department, igwe every single faculty, igwe every single hostel, igwe every single fellowship, igwe every church, igwe anything about everything. Even the streets have igwe. These are the people that will allow power rotate to Delta or Rivers in a Biafra?

How convenient that in my country of residence, we just discovered that every count of people we have had issues with regards to betrayal and bussiness deals gone bad is an eastern ibo from imo state, save a single edo exception. 11 total cases with a whopping 10 from one eastern state.

And yes, presidency is far from the east until the put their greed and betrayal tendencies behind. Obi will not be president, even though he is the best man for the job. Where is his structure, he is Peter Obi, he was the worst performing governor, he is this and He is that. Peter obi represents the voice of the downtrodden. Peter obi right now isn't an igbo candidate, he isn't a youthful candidate, he isn't even a Christian candidate, he is the candidate of real change. He and whomever he picks represents the true change the ruling party promised but failed to provide.

Nigeria is bleeding, there is nothing to show for twenty plus years of APC and PDP rule. When PDP failed, we changed them, APC has failed even more than PDP, we must also change them. We will continue to fight for change till Nigeria gets better.

Peter Obi represents that new change, that breath of fresh air. We don't share money, we don't preach tribe, we don't preach religion, we rather preach a promise of providing the dividends of democracy to Nigerians whose lives have been destroyed by the Governments that have ruled.

Every youth and person who doesn't want to gnash his teeth for the next 8 years must vote this new change. That's where our power lies, we must change what we don't like. We cannot give them a chance again to further ruin the nation. We have only one nation and we must fight for it by exercising our God given right. While doing so, fight no one, kill no one, give no one money, beg no one. Rather try and convince people to leave the darkness of the last years and seek new light for change.

If after all efforts, we lose, we will be okay with it. It is politics. Everyone will continue this suffering with their structure and 5000 Naira vote bribes.

It is now becoming a tactics in private universities to maintain certain level of students population through minimum lecture attendance requirement. Student that failed the minimum requirements of 75% will spend extra year.
For instance, how can you achieve 75% attendance if you missed I of 3 lectures; 2 of 9 lectures,; 3 of 7 lectures etc.
Parents and students need to be sure of private universities in which the desperation of Nigerian Educational System forced them to send their children for study.
The rate at which students of private universities now get extra academic year and pay additional tuition for none attendance should be looked into by NUC.
I know we feel the problem of private universities is none of the public problem.
Just imagine in a corrupt country like ours, children from poor homes will NEVER get admitted into public university if there are no private ones. Because cost of securing admission will be high .
Government should please look into this matter.

what are you talking about. Attendance to lectures isn't optional. It is mandatory, which implies that there must be a cogent reason for missing a lecture. The rules are there on the student handbook. If one feels he can't abide, why accept the admission given in the first instance.
