SmartyPants: Yes I knew this would play on people's minds. In fact, the mods have phrases this headline in order to trigger the memory of that incident and draw a parallel, thereby causing you to sub consciously link the two events.
Yet, one would watch that video from beginning to end and all you will see there is a young man who is being assaulted by a woman who refuses to let him go.
He does not once strike her body but merely attempts to break free. Now to test your earlier position, if the genders were reversed who would you blame in this situation? change your username sir. Nothing smart in your pants. You are likely a little boy anyway. That boy in the video has just graduated. He will be beaten like a theif for days after which he will be worn a gown and forcefully graduated (expelled). Make him pray say that woman no born cultist |

There is nothing wrong with the course one studies if people faced their priorities. This is s country where people look to the sky while on their knees and pray for manna from heaven. People pay tithes to gods of men who do not build any industries , people so not pay sufficient taxes , how will the private sector be energized enough to provide jobs for everyone when monies are either looted via politics or thrown away by gullible citizens. |

Anyway in my case. It was beans. I cooked it for over two years without ever getting it . normal beans oh. For reasons best known to it it refused to be soft no matter the akanwu I pour inside. Anyway I later realized after years of purging. That I should be patient and let it soften before I add palm oil.
For the life of me, till this day I can't make pap or custard. The thing will refuse to thicken for me. I have learnt stew (palm oil and vegetable oil) thanks to pocohantas. I am now expert at least I think. The people who ate the stew are still alive |

pocohantas: Okazi soup was the FIRST SOUP I made. I was about 14 then and having watched my mum cook it all my life, I was convinced I would ace it- for a rookie at least.
My problem started when I was trying to make the akpuruakpu (moulded egusi) and it refused to bring out oil, which was the ultimate test of its finesse. I added more osu, for where?! Finally I picked up the mortar and headed for my neighbour’s house. Not the same compound. I mean, I picked the mortar and headed for the gate. The plan was to go meet Uju, she was our church member at the time and they lived 2 houses away.
As I put one leg outside, na my mama I see... always thought you must be Igbo. Anyway which one is okazi again. Isn't that supposed to be vegetable soup |

Who knows directions on how I can get to Osun state From Enugu state.. Please help me oooooooooo!!! depending on where you are in enugu. Get an early bus to osha, stop at upper iweka and take a bike to Chisco park. There you will see Siena vehicles going to oshogbo. Ensure to take that going to oshogbo and not ibadan. When approaching oshogbo, after akoda bus stop, tell the driver you will stop at Aisu junction, NYSC camp junction. When you stop there simply take a bike 100naira to the camp. Take note that if for any reason you arrive at night, stop at akoda bus stop and take a bike to camp from there. The other bus stop is abit lonely at night (though there are no security concerns). You are too immature to have married In the first place, just listen to the pettiness a married woman is allowing to steal the peace in her own home.
If you husband badmouthed you, it is clearly because he is dissapointed in many things about you and you have refused to change and make adjustments.
There is nothing wrong with your job and hustle, they might feel it is small, but that works in your favour, nobody will be asking you for money. I believe it is from there you saved up 500k. Let them continue to say it is small, accept it is small and ask them for money so u can save some more. Use wisdom.
As for the sole called disparity In treatment when his brother came, that was so low for you to notice such and complain about it, when you called him such a terrible word, what did you expect..... A slap on the wrist? You got a slap on the face and expect punches next time
Summarily, madam you are exaggerating the things in your home, when you leave that marriage, in tears will you remember and see your follies in hindsight and regret leaving the marriage because you are immature.
Get mature, this is marriage and not relationship, value yourself and ur hustle, respect your husband and his interests and demand he does the same.
If you didn't heed to these here, dm me to tell u more
Peace |

SchmidtHammer: I spoke to my father-in-law,a Fulani man himself, a while ago (due to my personal relationship with him, this was the first time I have ever considered the farmers-herders clashes from the perspective of a Fulani man), he explained certain delicate and complex intricacies that makes the proposed ranching system, that used to me a very straightforward one, now seem quite problematic IN THIS PRESENT MOMENT. The laws in our constitution are not the laws of nature. These laws, as stated in our constitution, are created considering human peculiarities, such that 'general' beliefs even though inclined towards sentiments, as long as they are adopted by a represented reasonable minority and such that IT IS POSSIBLE THERE COULD BE A WAY AROUND THEM with the conditios that it does not threaten the ORDER in the country and the fundamental rights of others (the majority) is not infringed upon. Having stated the above, it is easy to see that the problem with the proposed Ranching System is that while it is a very logically straightforward solution, it is not the most considerate, therefore not the most appropriate (at least in the short term) and using a method analogous the Occam's Razor for solutions in politics and human relations is unreasonable in my opinion. Open cattle rearing is a culture and proposing a change in this culture must be approached as sensitively as other important cultures of the other tribes. One does not expect that a culture be abandoned overnight, nor that laws guiding a country be entirely insensitive to the peculiarities of the people bound under it. As in developed worlds, these are the kinds of problems that are confronted by Political scientists, Economic analysts and sociologists, putting forward a comprehensive and in-depth analysis of THE PROBLEM OF HERDERS in the country. should the law then favour the culture of a group while impeding on the culture of others? Is there any land that has no owner? Can land be appropriated with recourse to the owners of the land? The Fulani culture can continue on lands that belong to them, if they want to roam in other people's lands then it is only fair that they rent or buy the land If such trade agreements are available |

Read all the comments there and see evidence as to why this is a useless country filled with criminals. You say things like for "how much" common "5k" and all that, yet you went and borrowed the funds? If it is common how come you didn't have it initially before you borrowed nor did you have it when it was time to pay.
We can never be developed in the nation with this generation of thieves and dishonest people. Loans are not free money, when you borrow you have simply spent your own money upfront with an interest to who provided the services. You must pay back sir and ma'am, there are no excuses. This is why we suffer in this country because we run a debit system and not a credit system. Many Nigerians as depicted in the comments above are criminals, hoping to borrow funds and when it is time to pay start giving excuses. I like the fact they disgrace you unfortunate lots and garnish your accounts. |

pocohantas: Nothing wrong if it dries that way. I didn’t want it to dry much because I like it to “boil” in the oil before frying. Helps it fry softer, longer and slower. Anyway is fine. When it dries longer, you just have to watch it closely and stir frequently.
Thanks and welcome.
It gets fragmented. It is no more smooth like a paste and you will see tiny lumps. The oil would also be deep red. The attached pictures is a guide. that third pic is darker than the other...... So is that when it is done? When it's darker. Abeg no vex for my plenty questions. Tired of eating stew that tastes like raw tomatoes paste diluted with water. no matter my efforts |

pocohantas: Lol, I love your use of the word consistent, I use that word a lot to describe my stew. I used to think same @ tin tomatoes being responsible, not anymore. Your mixture is the base, your deep frying is the crucial stage, then the amount of stock you add.
I shared my stew recipe with someone HERE, you can check it out and ask for clarifications. I’ll create a more detailed thread soon and tag you.
You’re most welcome.
Lol. I am actually inyamuri, but yea, you need to deep fry your tomatoes to get the best out of it. You can drain the excess oil after frying, but don’t fry with small oil. Burns and thins out your tomatoes.
Maybe the word cover was extreme, it should be about half an inch above the tomatoes.
You’ll pay, that way you would be serious. aii. I will await the thread. Happy sunday |
