There are full HD display phones selling for 30-35k

It's very normal for mid range phones to come with batteries of 3000-4000mah capacity.. 35k would get you a phone with 5500mah battery with 3gb ram and 32gb memory (Hello Homtom Ht50 ) so the small ram should have brought the price down than it is already!

There will soon be a grand breaking of Tecno Phantom flagship smartphone. Infact, Tecno Mobile has already set the date of its launch which is at October 22, 2017 at Dubai, UAE. But the name of the phone and how it will look like was'nt revealed. Here is a video on twitter from Tecno Mobile Nigeria, which want you and I to predict the name of the new Tecno Phantom with the hashtag #WhatIsTheNextPhantom. Please watch it and predict also. If my mathematics is correct, there will not be a Phantom 7 or probably Tecno will be unveiling Phantom 7 along with Phantom 8 which I doubt its possible. Also, I found two photos and to me that photo is the new Tecno Phantom. Here are they.


The first photo or cardboard revealed some features of how the new Tecno Phantom 8 may look like. It seems Tecno is not slacking behind on some current features of flagship smartphones this year. The Phantom 8 may be a near bezel-less phone or probably one.

The front camera as can be seen in the photo is single camera possibly an 18MP camera for selfie. The rear camera, however, may be 25MP, however, the second photo reveal a dual rear camera. Further, the screen seems long so it's possible for it to be between 6 inches to 7 inches in diameter.

From my understanding, the phone price is okay. It has a fingerprint scanner, the screen is 6.0 inches and the battery size is 3400 mAh. That will be the reason why its above 40k but it can be more than 50k because the RAM is very small.

Alphabet inc is using market penetration for its hardware segment. Alphabet, the proud owner of Google, started an hardware segment last year for its Google pixel smartphones. Though, it's not the first consumer electronics manufactured by Google, it was the first to make a mark in the Android smartphone flagships'.

Alphabet, actually started with Google Nexus which was produced in 2010. The first Nexus phone is the Nexus one with Android 2.1 Eclair operating system and manufactured by HTC. Eclair is one sweet, I never want to miss while growing up and it was made by Cadbury. Nigeria. Fast forward, is the Nexus 6P and Nexus 5C by Huawei and LG respectively were the latest flagship in the Google Nexus mobile hardware model launched in 2016. I don't know if Google has stopped the production, as I haven't heard of any new entry this year.

There is also a Google Nexus tablets, Google laptop-the Chromecast using chromeOS and other Google products such as Google Daydreamer. Which is Google Virtual Reality, VR.

The Google Pixel, which Alphabet started last year was more fascinating than the Nexus model. It was named the best Camera flagship smartphone in 2016. More to that, the camera was giving 89 points by DxOMarkMobile rating according to different sources online. This year, however, it got 98 point by DxOMarkMobile rating, probably maintaining it spot as best camera smartphone in 2017.

But, Alphabet is using market penetration to probably increased market share in the mobile hardware sector. At the #madebygoogle event in October 4, 2017, Google stated clearly that it's Pixel 2 XL will worth $649. Which is not much expensive than other hardware manufacturer flagship phones.

For example, iPhone 8Plus flagship cost $699 and the iPhone X worth $949. Samsung Galaxy Note8 is stated at $1,000 and the Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus is $720.

Take a look at the comparism. For iPhone X, the price difference is $300; for iPhone 8Plus, it is $50; for Samsung Galaxy Note8, it's $351; while for Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus, the difference is $71. Still, all are flagship smart gadgets...

Huawei Nova 2i was launched in October 1st, 2017. Huawei do not give previous notice of the launch. It will cost around N150,000 to N200,000 if it is sold in Nigeria. All they do is to post it on their website. The phone is powerful with certain new features that you may have not notice in other smartphone. For example, to screenshot is totally different from the convention way I do screenshot with similar device. Here, to screenshot depends on how you want it.

Just a few minute read you will read why I thought Apple iPhone9 is dead and gone forever. No matter how you may prefer an iPhone9, instead of the iPhoneX also called iPhone10, you won't see it anymore, believe me or not. Probably, you might know why there wouldn't be an iPhone9, I will be happy to hear from you. But first of all let's take a brief look at the historical development of the iphones.

Apple actually started producing the iPhone phoneosphere, in 2007. This means iPhone is ten years old now. The first generation of iPhone was launched and released that year, June 29, 2007. If iPhone was just starting out that mobile phone now, I beleive Apple would have liquidated within months. But that is not it, now we have an iPhoneX which is a smarter Phablet and which every other smartphone producer will be learning its model except Google Pixel and Huawei.

One year later, there was the second generation of iPhone. Still a useless gabbage right now except for the 3G connectivity in it which is still relevant for now. . The iPhone 3GS came up as the third generation of iPhone. The "S" in the name actually stands for speed.

In June 24, 2010 that is seven years earlier there came the iPhone 4, the fourth generation of Apple iPhone and the first to come with a screen that was named Retina which is still in used still date, though Apple finally calls it super Retina with OLED display for the iPhoneX. After this was the iPhone 4S where "S" this time means Siri. This was in 2011 and there was a conflict as to if it is the fifth generation or not. Well, as for me I, it is iPhone fifth generation.

As Tim Cook takeover as the CEO of Apple as a result of the death of co-founder and former CEO Steve Jobs, there was a launched of iPhone 5 with a SoC of Apple A6. Next was the iPhone 5S and 5C respectively. At the launch of iPhone 5S at September 2013, Apple also launched the Apple store and iTunes store.

The seventh generation happens to be when iPhone began a brother and sister thing. I mean iPhone 6 and iPhone 6Plus. That was the year 2014. And this was when iPhone became something to reckon with especially in the Nigeria smartphone market.

In 2015, Apple launched and released Apple iPhone6S and 6S Plus and in 2016 there was a series of iPhone that was launched the iPhone SE which happens to be the smallest iPhone right now and the iPhone 7 and 7Plus line up. iPhone 7 and 7Plus became the 10th generation of iPhone, released in 2016. Apple removed the 3.5mm headphone port and replaces it with wireless headphones.

Now this year come iPhone8, iPhone8 Plus and also the iPhoneX which is also called iPhone ten. At first leakers in the smartphone world, taught that iPhone8 was iPhone 7S and 7S Plus. But there was no iPhone9. And to my point of view and to many other smartphone reviewer, iPhone9 is dead and gone forever. Even at the launched of the aforementioned smart phones, Apple CEO, Steve Jobs do not, even by mistake mention iPhone9.

Here are three reasons why I beleived iPhone9 is dead.

My first reason is that Apple and Microsoft has some cordial relationships. And this is true. Apple uses Microsoft search engine Bing instead of Google's. Also, Apple iPhones are compatible with Microsoft Laptops and computers HP but are not with Google Chromecast. So, probably, as Microsoft failed to launched windows 9 but there are Windows 7, 8 and 10, so Apple may have in that order decided not to launched a iPhone9 even though there is an Operating system from Apple called iOS9 and a SoC of A9.

My second reason is what the number 9 may has mean in the United States. It may interest you to know that the 9th President of the United States of America, William H. Harrison in 1841 was the first President to die in office only after 32 days.And what was the cause of his death? pneumonia!




My third reason, which I also taught may be closed is the celebration of Apple's ten years of production of iPhones. If you notice earlier while reading, you will discovered that iPhone's first generation was in June, 2007. This year, 2017 makes it ten years of the production of iPhones by Apple. To mark the year, Apple may have decided to kill iPhone9 and replaces it with iPhone X.

These are my reasons. If you have information as to why there is no iPhone9, I will he happy to hear from you from the comment box below.

There is definitely nothing new about the Apple watch series3. I mean nothing particular that will make you upgrade from Apple watch series 2 to this new smartwatch. Apple only introduces LTE connectivity to it and the new watchOS. And you can still decide if you should buy the LTE series3 watch or its companion GPS.

Yes, it is true but there are some features I can't just let go here. You do not need to worry about pulling the watch out of your hands if you're carrying out your day-to-day activities. You can swim with it without being afraid of the water. It is totally water resistance according to Apple.

Smartphones are big deals over the world.
