To evaluate Law degree, one has to use IQAS? Should the person add his law school certificate/transcript?
What will the report come as? Equivalent of Masters Degree?
If the person decides to use WES, what will the degree come out as?
Please help. I want to help a clueless friend. |

Hi Chicyclass Could you please send me the IDP WRITING MATERIAL? I sent you DM but toy have not replied. Kindly help a brother. You can forward it to edmontonlad@yahoo.com I am patiently wait biko. chicyclass: My PPR JOURNEY PART 2 - IELTS (a.k.a The humbler of men)
Let me start by saying that IELTS showed me shegeeeey! Again error go dey breekete for this write up wella
First attempt. 05/Jan/2019..BC LRWS.. 7.5,,6.5,,6.5,,7
I went to this exam with all excitement that we were about to enter the process. I never envisaged what was coming, only if we can see the future.
Second attempt 09/Feb/2019.. BC.
I practised soteey, I almost finished all the listening test on YouTube.
Hia!! It came out. LRWS.. 9,,8,,6.5,,7.5 Remark unchanged... I na-anukwa!!
At this point, i lost confidence in myself. Just like what people say "I have never failed any exam in my life". Not just that I have never failed any exam until IELTS, I have never been an average student. With the help of my husband, I dusted myself and registered for another.
Third attempt.. 27/APRIL/2019..BC
A friend advised me to register with MOD. Stubborn me! I say na the same thing everywhere. A na-emenu!
This time, i practised only writing. I reached out to Wasseynewest and joined his group, the guy is a Saint, I must say. I learnt a lot from him. I also reached out to Johnnybravo who was very busy with other candidates at the time. He had a session with me. He said that my writing was good to fetch me 7 at least. I said to myself "IELTS na me and you for one leg trouser". I must pass, Iwu!!
Brethren! It came out... LRWS.. 9,,8.5,,6.5,,8 I am still awaiting the remark ni!
So Sad. Infact, I felt worthless. I cried eeeh. When I see sample writing on IELTS, I just wondered what I did wrong. I thought i had always written what could atleast fetch me 7. Dusted myself the 3rd time, and quickly registered for another IELTS.
Fourth attempt.. 23rd May 2019
This time I registered with MOD. A friend chatted me up one day that he had an IDP writing material. He said that he would share the material on one condition, that I must unlearn all the writing techniques or whatever I had learnt and study the 200 paged materials to the teeth. I agreed and promised too. After all, what did the ones I learnt fetch. Na so I read this material bumper to bumper and line by line without thinking of Jay, Liz etc. On the test day, I must say this was one of most stressful days of my life. I had to take all the tests same day. I came out of the exam hall downcast and unfulfilled about my writing.I was just blabbering during my speaking test was supposed to be the next day. In my mind, I was planning on the next date to repeat the exam. I started practicing for writing since that day, I focused on Jay and was looking forward to 29th June to write another one because I was not giving up.
Today, I woke up early and broke down in tears . My husband consoled me soteey he tire. When it was 11am, I started purging and developed fever. I thought "My God, why have you forsaken me". Meanwhile, i hadn't checked my result ooo.
At 12:20pm, Mbanu! Why am I doing this to myself ni! Brethren! I checked.. Lo and behold!
LRWS... 9,,8.5,,7,,7
My people, I can't describe the joy. The purge stopped, the fever vanished. Indescribable joy..WHAT A RELIEF!! I wonder what PPR will feel like.
Venorite and Yemblaze, God will do it for you guys too. For all those who are still in the struggle, never give up.
If you need that IDP material feel free to send me Pm. I will share because it worked for me. NB.. It is IDP material so therefore write with MOD because I don't know if BC will follow same technique.
The feeling eeh! Chaii! Chukwu daalu!! To God be the glory. |

Please write a passionate letter to AVO. Beg, plea and compliment their efforts. Trust me. Try this and before weekend, you will thank me deboks: Hello FAM; Got a question, don't know if anyone has experience this.
My AOR is September 15th 2018. Yes. Its almost 8 months 2 weeks (for those who believe they are the last in December AOR to receive PPR; saw a comment like that and silently chucked). Many of us are out there... Mostly just exhausted to comment...as most of the peeps we applied with have landed. Lol. This process can take a lot from you... Be prepared.
Anyways, so after 7 months of silence i got an update, i finally moved to 1P2, background check had commenced.... Finally ....in my mind!!!! Friday, 10th May ( some days to the 8 month mark) i get another update. This time a ghost update. On Monday, 13th May, i put a call to CIC and was told i should receive a letter shortly. I waited till Friday, 17th May 2019 and called again, this time i was congratulated by the call agent that my application had been approved and i should have received an email for passport request letter. I told him i got nothing yet. He said it was sent to AVO to issue the letter. told him i haven't received anything from any Visa Office.
Anyways... I was asked to email AVO and raise a CSE...telling them am aware my application has been approved but i was yet to receive PPR.... i have Submitted and email and CSE. Its been more than 2 weeks no response or PPR from AVO.
I called again Friday, 23rd May, the agent was nice and said he will contact AVO himself. Anyways just to be proactive I just wrote an email to Ralph last night. Besides my email address is correct as i have confirmed this in the several calls to CIC.
It is so exhausting to have waited so long and then told it was approved... but no proof... Lols ( lawyer speaking)
My question is if anyone has experience this and what more can i do in the case? Is it possible for AVO to do any how after Oga at the top has approved?
See eh.. Perhaps i just need an avenue to vent...my family is tip toeing around me they actually think this whole process is scam, they don't know anyone personally around us that is in Canada through this process. As e don take this long na... Make i forget am... But here i am i want to tell them i have gotten it!!! It works!!! See... But nothing to show that e don show...so am just quiet. Lols.
My family knew when i applied and how hopeful i was to get PPR by 3months as i arranged my documents carefully. and that theory " if you had if difficult post ITA... It will be faster for you post AOR" Lols... Bullshit... I wrote IELTS 3 times, i submitted LLb, BL, Msc for evaluation .. Didn't know at the time i only needed my masters... So imagine evaluation from 3 Nigerian institutions with WES. From the day i started this process till now .. 1 year 6 months. Lols. See, not every one will get that 3 months timeline... Not everyone will get the before 6months timeline. Some like me ...will for whatever reason best known to CIC will be tested in patience... Be ready. Hopefully soon i can complete it by saying " Be ready, though you pass through the furnace of patience the fire shall not burn thee because thou shall come out victorious"... |

And if he gets PPR in less than 2 months, he will wait till 182 days? Or can the Treasury bill be canceled? Because I know with Fixed deposit, you have to forfeit the interest if you liquidate before due date. Why not do 91 days and rollover if you don't get PPR after 91 days. I like being optimistic Sha o. VECOH1: Tbills is an acceptable POF. 182 days is better. D longer d better. #IMHO# |

jerich: Greetings to this informative house.
i pray all our dreams come true and we shall all inherit our Canaan land.
i am gathering documents and i need clarifications on what to do with POF
i am using 100% gift deed, i am torn between fixing the amount and upload the fixed deposit certificate plus gift deed which is quite easier as i can do that within 3days. or buying treasury bills and uploading the cert as well as gift deed. however, i learnt tbills takes about every 2weeks to conduct a bid and sometimes its not always successful and one will have to wait for the next bid. Am running out time
please what advice will ya'll give?
can i just upload bank statement plus gift deed as POF , then later raise CSE for treasury bills. or should i stick with fixed deposit , even though treasury bills are safer and yields more interest.
pls help Just do a fix deposit. It's acceptable na. |
