Travel › Re: Why Women Leave Their Husbands Abroad After They Both Japa by ednut1(m): 5:35am On Dec 13, 2023 |
There is one major characteristic of those men. They used money to entice the woman in Nigeria. You are a 29 years old man doing well, na 19 years old babe you go date or marry. Sponsor her through school, pay her parents rent and siblings bills. Now the bad part- emotionally and physical abuse, her opinions don’t matter, during NYSC you quickly marry and give her belle and prevent her getting a career. you know she cant leave because she is dependent on you. But when you reach abroad, she can enter lucrative fields like nursing and tech. Starts earning good money and contributing to the bills. With her workload, child care . Many Nigerian men refuse to adjust to the realities and demand she cooks, does all the chores like in Nigeria. You still carry cheating come abroad. With time she begins to see there is no need for you and sends you packing. Many times its payback for patriarchy in Nigeria. Marriages where the man was a good man in Nigeria mostly still waxing strong abroad. |

Backstory as seen on instablog. A lot of Nigerian parents are truly narcissistic and abusive. If you decide to japa its common sense to know that once they turn 18 they are no longer children and can move out. But this woman is controlling a 25 years old daughter who is a single mother. Jejely let her go and if she can’t survive after thats her business.

While they were at it, did they tell you what to took from Africa?
If it were up to white people, they'd take credit for our existence also. As long as they have brainwashed people like you to defend their sh!t. 🙄 they took palm oil which was instrumental in oiling their machines during Industrial Revolution. They took humans( slaves) who worked for free in the plantations of Americas. Etc. go and learn instead of being ignorant. Fact still remains that they brought tomatoes which was the original argument. |

Treadway: lol. Ok let me add more credence to this your post. Remember how I mentioned here my wife was singing UK into my ear and I handled that situation? Well, when Emilokan entered let's just say I became more amenable. So I have told her to run the show. She will write TEF in January, while as a testament to my own involvement and support for the cause, I don write IELTS in June and got the CLB10. I reckon if/when it all pans out, I go come siddon face the reality of what next when that time comes. I just leave am make she dey run the whole tin, while I supply the needs. Still don't see myself living outside Nigeria, but that second citizenship has become a goal. Lol correct. A wise wife 😆 |

mariahAngel: Yeah! They brought everything to Africa! 🙄
In fact, they created nature.
What a preposterous exaggeration! you can simply use google to check instead of coming here to display ignorance. The Portuguese brought Tomatoes, corn, potatoes, cassava to Africa after they got it from the Americas. We had Yam, millet, sorghum as our main food source before they came. |

Hypocrisy is a funny human trait. When bandits strike or religious killing happens in the north - southerners usually carry it on their head. When ipob related killings happen Northerners will carry it on their head. Wazobia tribes will purposely ignore issues in their own domains. What a country. |

tensazangetsu20: Bros you are lucky you made the move in that 2020 o. The points now are unattainable. Even studying in Canada doesn't guarantee PR like before. Here in Chile, they are voting on Sunday to change the constitution and immigration is one thing they want to change. In the Brazil thread, they mentioned that the embassy has stopped issuing visa till further notice. Going forward immigration will get insanely difficult. Even with money you can't go anywhere. i wrote IELTS 7 times, missed two IELTS exams before i could get the magic scores. My friend who was saying this thing is not do or die. Today dey find way to Japa , na only MBA dey for am but he says the money too much. Uk, Australia, Canada work /PR was an option for him that year. Some year ago USA was giving visa lottery or visiting visa to Nigerians. Today e don cast. Canada self don dey lock door, UAE don lock door, UK don dey lock door. You self don enter Chile before them lock door hahahah |

Gerrard59: He can opt for an MBA (stem certified) in the US. Target the business schools in Texas. If he is really working with Chevron as a permanent staff, there is the option for company transfer and another route to relocate to the US. I understand the US immigration system is more convoluted than Canada, but for someone with that profile, there are other structured paths than going to Canada, which is increasingly tough and could change. Besides, the oil industry is booming in the US than in Canada. The Republicans would protect that sector compared to politicians in Canada. lol no be chevron, but a similar company ( multinational too). The guy dey nairaland make e no go vex for me. MBA is expensive o. Almost 100k usd in some schools. According to the guy almost all his fellow colleagues have residency in western countries, they have moved their families. With this Tinubu economy his eyes opened never thought it could get worse |
