Etosha: I will travel the world when I have sufficient money. But to get tucked away in a corner somewhere in Europe, Asia or America where there's little or no opportunity to be known or achieve something remarkable ( apart from an easy life of eating good food and enjoying basic amenities) doesn't make sense to me. Something within me cries for achievements and fame... These are easier to attain here than anywhere outside my Homeland. Those who are making it here have not got two heads. We will slug it out together here in naija... many of your rulers and elite were once based abroad. They used their dollars to come buy connections in Nigeria or got posts. You are more likely to die unknown in Nigeria. Tinubu, Gbaja, Adenuga, Otedola, dapa abiodun, adeleke etc were once based abroad o. Number 3 is not true sha hahahhaha |

Quality life How. Which elite uses the healthcare in Nigeria See as mr ibu and co were begging for donations for treatment. Does the common man have such leverage. Europe has banned many of our foodstuffs from import because they found high levels of pesticides. Snipper is being used to preserve things like beans. Yet you say quality life. Abeg get out🤣

Llaye: Hello everyone,
Please does anyone know of a Nigerian here who works with the Canadian Federal Government as a Permanent resident?
I ask because I know that to work with the FG as a non-citizen of Canada, a security clearance is required from your home country. And I recently learnt that the Nigerian govt never responds to the security clearance request. Someone I know says he was turned down at the interview stage when they learnt he's Nigerian and they gave him the reason "it's very difficult getting security clearance done for Nigerians" but this was many years ago.
I've tried to ask around and haven't been able to find anyone who knows a Nigerian who's successfully done it recently. Those I found had become Canadian citizens before getting into the FG jobs.
So I'm starting to believe the guys who say it may be a worthless venture applying to those roles as a PR with Nigerian citizenship. *phew As long as the advert says PR can apply you are good to go. |

Three ways- make money. Sponsor politicians during elections . One day he go reach your turn.
Start as a thug/ enforcer from ward level, progress to LGA from LGA to state. You will likely die sha.
Be attacking government on social media and build a following. Once day they may invite you to the table. |

Kenn55: Oga ednut, please do you know how international students are transitioning to PR currently? I heard CEC draws haven't been done for a long time. If that is the case, does it now mean it is no longer a guarantee that people who study here stay back after studies? the minister came out to say they never promised anyone PR with study visa. There are about 800k students in Canada currently and the quota for economic migrants is like half of the yearly 500k. When you take out outland ITA thats like 120k slots remaining. Some people say they may be working on a pathway for students, nothing concrete yet. |

I currently have my PR but I plan to land in three months.
