A sensor performs the role of information gathering in any system for which it is employed. In automobiles, it detects events or changes in its environment then provide a corresponding output. The ECU (Brain box) receives information from the sensors, processes them and instructs the actuators what to do or perform an action. Examples of sensors are oxygen sensor, tyre-pressure sensor, water sensor, speed sensor etc.
An actuator is a device that is responsible for moving or controlling a mechanism or system. In automobiles, actuators are devices that receives command, information or instructions from respective controllers either an electronic control unit (brain box) or switches to control components mechanically. Examples of actuators are Bulbs, Injectors, Fuel pumps, starter monitors, malfunction Indicator Light (MIL), AC Compressors, Water Pumps, Alternators, Break Light etc.

Electronic control unit (brain box) is a device that controls various actuators to ensure optimal performance of an engine. The ECU receives information from various sensors, processes them and instructs the actuators what to do with them or perform an action or stores them for future use. Sensors are devices that receives information in an environment or in a system while actuators are to control components mechanically. Succinctly, sensors are to collect information, ECU is an information processor and actuators are to control components mechanically.

Before now, vehicles were mechanical systems only but with the advent of technology they are now electromechanical systems that is they are now automated systems. The force amplification e.g. the levers, change of speed e.g. gears and the transfer of rotation about one axis to rotation about another axis e.g. belt are still mechanical systems. The three devices that makes a modern vehicle to be an automated system are
(1) Electronic control unit,ECU ( The Brain Box), the ECU is also called information processor.
(2) Sensors
(3) Actuators. Sensors are used in cars, aircraft, spacecraft, banks (automated doors), elevators, medicine, manufacturing, robotics etc. As said early, sensors are to get information in an environment that is what is happening in that environment at that particular time. Like in Banks automated doors, what the sensor does is to know whether the customer has gun,key ,or cell phone which are not permitted to go with him inside the bank because of security reasons. Now, the sensor will get information about that customer and send it to the information processor to verify it. If the information processor is satisfied about it, it will command the actuator to open the door and if it is not satisfied, it will tell the actuator also not to open the door and blow an alarm and send a signal to their control room in form of danger. In Nigeria, we are still backward in technology and no advance systems.

A Federal High Court in Abuja, yesterday, ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, to only recognise candidates in Ondo and Edo states endorsed by the Ali Modu Sheriff-led National Working Committee, NWC.
The interim order followed delivered by Justice Okon Abang was upon a suit filed by two governorship aspirants of the PDP in Edo and Ondo states – Chief Benson Akingboye (Ondo) and Ehiozuwa Johnson Agbonayinma (Edo).
The ruling followed a motion on notice for interlocutory orders filed by the plaintiffs.
The PDP in Edo State has, however, pledged to discharge the interim injunction on Monday upon the claim that the suit was filed in bad faith.
PDP sources in Edo State said that the suit could never benefit the Sheriff faction since the faction failed in serving INEC with the 21 day notice required to conduct a governorship primary.
Earlier in the course of hearing the motion, two Senior Advocates of Nigeria, Emmanuel Ukala and Olagoke Fakunle, locked horns over who was duly briefed to represent the PDP.
Whereas Ukala maintained that he was duly briefed by the Markafi led faction of the party, Fakunle on the other hand, said he was briefed by the Sheriff-led faction.
However, Justice Abang, while resolving the dispute, noted that while a Federal High Court in Lagos, in two separate orders on May 12 and May 20, recognised the leadership of Sheriff and restrained parties from proceeding with the party’s national convention in Port Harcourt, the Markafi leadership of the PDP emerged from a convention against which there was a pending order.
He said there was an element of doubt about the legality of the convention from which Markafi-led Caretaker Committee emerged.
Consequently, the court said it was minded to only recognise Fakunle who was briefed by the Sheriff-led faction of the party.
Meanwhile, Fakunle told the court that the Sheriff-led faction was not opposed to the interlocutory reliefs sought by the plaintiffs.

possible solutions:
1) May be your brake pads are not original ones

@ profchijindu , which course did you study?? what I have discovered in my many years experience, graduates don't want to go for freelance to have experience. some centered their focus on oil and gas companies even when he or she studied Botany, zoology or sociology etc. Experience counts in every job. A friend of mine read mechanical engineering and graduated with second class upper division with a grade of 4.42 but he lost a job because he didn't know how to service small generators known as "I pass my neighbour generators" in Nigeria. Those that do go for industrial training, instead of them to go to a place they will get the practical knowledge they will prefer where they will do the office and money. I suffered during my Industrial training but today I am happy. I didn't go to a place I will do office work and money but I went to a place where I got the practicals. I used to go to roadside mechanics then to acquire the practicals.
