Well mr Frank that is where they're wrong. This is the information age and BBC is missing out on the revolution too bad. Why couldn't even still pictures of Yardua be sent and why didn't they ask him why he was acting against the Nigeria's constitution ?
Politics › Re: Yar'adua Interviewed By BBC: He's Alive Afterall! by edoyad(m): 11:38am On Jan 13, 2010
BBC is losing serious credibility if you ask me, even though it was Yaradua that spoke is that how to carry out journalism ? As i post the Aljazeera news has been reporting a serious earthquake in Haiti that's possibly killed thousands while BBC is showing us stock prices.

Why don't the National assembly just get a TV station of their own ? If these useless clergy men in Nigeria can own their own stations on cable why can't the NA establish a FTA channel of their own ?
As for the NTA, i can't remember the last time i watched anything there(save for the occasional football) and i believe It's the same with most Nigerians. Next time the NA should use AIT, afterall it was AIT and Arulegba that ensured that Obasanjo did not get the third term/ life presidency he was scheming for. After defeating the third term agenda the useless people who benefitted from Arulegba and AIT have now come and are trying to silence them.
SHAME ON YOU DORA, YOU ARE NATIONAL DISGRACE. I CANT BELIEVE I ONCE MENTIONED YOU AS MY ROLE MODEL, no wonder i didn't get the job.

@Gbawe, monkeytail and proudlynaija, that statement from me is supposed to be a motivation and not the other way round. You wont find a more staunch supporter of this action than myself, but i wont also forget that amongst 12 disciples there's always one Judas. I personally am banking on the protests abroad to make more headlines and attract more attention that's why i'm asking and am keen for it to be a success.

All respect i had for this man has gone out the window, and we thought Turai and Ogbullafor were the masterminds behind this madness. Hand over to the deputy who will continue in acting capacity till you return back here to resume your 'duty' or depart for your aljana or whatever.
Tell me what is the difference between this Umar that wants to sink a nation of 150 million through presidential suicide in a foreign land and the one who wants to sink us into terrorist state with suicide in another foreign land ?

The govt don't have to do zit. Aren't we the ones using the MTN lines ? Is the govt paying our bills for us ? Right now as i post i'm doing it with an MTN line but i'm ready to drop it if we make a collective decisions to make this people understand we can't be taken for a ride. But other Net works, Glo particularly, have to give us something to pull us out.
Do you think MTN made this decision without greasing the necessary palms in abuja ? You'll be surprised at the details.

Ibime calls two stellar performances in two consecutive finals in 2005 and 2006 ancient history, tell me of Franks recent history then. Notice I've not gone back to dig up his incredible goal to bury Man U in the league cup final of 2001, or is it 2002 ? huh
These kind of players who almost single handedly ensure that teams win in finals are not found in beans market. cool . Lampard is just a salary earner, shikena !

The day Lampard doubles as a right back and mid fielder to rescue his team from 3-0 deficit to AC Milan in a UCL final, wake me up from my Gerardic slumber.

otawa:
Kudos.

I am impressed.

To galvanise this change, the 'Governor' should be using the 'saw-dust' cooking aparatus in his house.

All his commisioner should aslo be using this.

Nigerians are follow-follow, once they see that Governor is using this, they will start too.

The governor should also make the 'Tri-Cyle' official vehicle for the state!

This would ensure that the fabricator has regular income and can improve based on feedback from users.

Any contractor that does not drive the 'tricycle' should not be given any contract.

This is how India/China stimulate their country!
Exacataly, practice what you preach. But i'm not abig fan of state run firms that go under immediately the incumbent administration leaves power.

Redsun contrary to that Yaradua's copse could be donated to a cannibal tribe for their culinary uses, though i have to confess that a horse's copse would fill more stomachs. undecided

The mutallabness of this thread makes me wonder if mutallabiasis is not already spreading Nigeria. Why start such a mutallabic topic at such a sensitive time ?
Politics › Re: Dead? by edoyad(m): 9:43am On Jan 11, 2010
In that case you shouldn't have minced words cos we all know that the average Nigerian politician is of less value than the sh¡t i just flushed down my toilet and Yaradua just happens to be the most prominent of them at the moment. We have to purge our system of them using the strongest laxative available.
Politics › Re: Dead? by edoyad(m): 9:29am On Jan 11, 2010
The extra kidney from an incapacitated man could be harvested and transplanted to another human so they can survive, can you use a horse's kidney for that ? Secondly an incapacitated man could be taken to a polling booth where he could vote but a dead horse, living one too, cannot vote. cool
Thirdly an incapacitated man could be rationally declared as a next of kin while a dead horse. . , you know the rest. wink

No2Aethism the US wanted to exterminate the black race you said ? Ok grin . About the devil being transparent, that allegory wouldn't apply to people who don't believe in a God or a Devil in the first place.

The worst atrocities against Africans in the 20th and 21st centuries have been committed by blacks: biafara, Rwanda, IdiAmin's Uganda, Liberia, Sierra Leone, Angola. No race holds the monopoly over evil as evidenced by South Africa pre 94 , US pre 70s and other places.
Truth is, when you look at the US, Germany, Japan and many other places, you notice that their introspection causes an awakening and a realisation which results in a move away from a draconian past. Result is you won't see jews being sent to gas chambers after 1945 by an european govt or blacks being lynched to death with the consent of the town sheriff and the town acting like it didn't happen. The problem with us on the other hand is the tendency is to continue repeating the same evils decade after decade after decade, leaving one with the painful reality that we really do lack the capacity to develop/change as a people.

Politics › Re: America Takes Over Nigeria (my Dream) by edoyad(m): 10:34pm On Jan 10, 2010
Cap28, the fact that those documents are in public domain is a testament to the transparency in the US system that's lacking in trash can banana republics(and soon to be failed states) like Nigeria.
Cuba, and Fidel Castro in particular almost drove the world into a nuclear war in october of 1962 when it decided to host Russian missiles with nuclear capabilities. The US after settling with Russia had on choice but to increase the sanctions on Cuba which was already a pariah state then. The US has always shown that the communist leaning leadership that was suppressing the real Cubans was It's enemy and not Cubans themselves. As for Aristide,
Haiti is the poorest Country in the Americas as a result of corruption, would the US sit back and let Haiti fall into anarchy when it was obvious Aristide was utter rubbish like his African leader cousins ?
And about the WMD in Iraq, even highly placed officials in washington of which Powell was one were averse to that invasion. But after all is said and done Sadam was an oppressor who got what was coming and Iraq is already showing signs of recovery with the reduction of alqaeda attacks.
Politics › Re: America Takes Over Nigeria (my Dream) by edoyad(m): 8:33pm On Jan 10, 2010
@cap28, first thing is i don't visit sites like dawodu.com to get authentic info.
Secondly you're bringing outrageous claims of alleged claims that Henry Kissinger submitted as regards "control" of population in countries of which half of them are today are best allies with the US and heavily reliant on the US; Columbia is one of the highest beneficiaries of aid from the US, Brazil is one of South America's largest exporters to the US, Turkey's bid to join the EU is being strongly backed by washington and that's no secret, Philipinos in the US remit billions back good wha make up a strong percentage of the philipine economy. . . . .
Thirdly policy does change overtime, Iran wasn't on your list but i guaranty today that wouldn't be the reality if a list for "birth control targets" were to be compiled. As long as a countries aspirations are considered healthy to global affairs why would it be maligned ?
