I'm happy that i'm one of the few smart people alive today. How can a human being possibly believe that There's such a thing as a fcking God or Allah in 2009 ? See what your beliefs are doing to our national fabric. We need 2 decades of communism atleast to erase this madness.
No be only God, na Dog.

^ My friend ! She's dead means she's dead. She's not going back to any creator or anything, just completing the cycle by transforming to back to sand. May be if we all knew this we'd stop wasting our time on certain things.

@Lagosboy, Nobody is accusing Northern region of anything. There is a strong christian base in the north incase all you know about the north are from the pages of newspapers ? The problem is the section of hausa muslims that seem to have adopted a counter productive stance on National issues.
Do you know you as a southern muslim you probably would have to pray in a different mosque from a hausa muslim if you were up north ? While i know of yoruba muslims who have converted to other religions, it is almost impossible to try that if you're a hausa muslim as it means death.
These things definitely point to the fact that the problem is not just religious but ethno-religious which makes it far more complicated than your average analyst can comprehend.

I believe the idea of a net Forum is to allow for expression of candid opinions and to do away with the endemic hypocrisy that engenders prejudice. Many of the things said by many of us against other tribes are the very things our friends, cousins, uncles , parents and kins men say about them when our room doors are closed, isn't it ? Bring it all out in the open cos that's the only way we can move forward.

I repeat again, none of the groups coming out here to wimper are nearly as abused as females, homosexuals and mentally challenged people on NL.
Ra.ped , fa.ggot , retar.ded , cu.nt etc are many examples of language that the people I've mentioned would feel offended by but they keep their cool and continue being productive.
If your group is now being attacked on NL i feel for you, but in the long run the lesson is to do unto (all) others as you would have done to you. So next time you call someone cu.nt, better know the rule applies both ways

NAIRA LAND IS PERFECT. Yes some people abuse some of these liberties but overall any adult should be able to function without trouble on Naira land if you know what freedom of expression/information is about. The day Naira land changes from how it operates is the day i leave the place.
Every one should have a place on NL no matter their Tribe, race, sexuality or other affiliations.
Some of You complain of your groups being bashed on Naira land then what do covert homosexuals, Mentally challenged and Multiracial people say ? Are they not Nigerians too ? I hear all types of racial, homophobic and generally insensitive terms being used here on NL but everyone is ok with it till the table turns i guess.
Grow up and face the music, if what is being said about your group is wrong then defend it in a civilised manner. It's not easy to do but then again There's nothing easy in life.

@Vieira, the time it will take Parker to settle into that middle is how long it will Song leave for and return from the ACN.
I believe with a bit of tinkering Wenger can get that team through his absence provided he doesn't return injured. The real problem for me is the CF which i'm not hearing anything about and would love to wake up on Jan 1st and hear someone has arrived as against Jan 32nd.

The Chelsea situation is a very grim one which East bay and i understand. Do you know the implication of Chelsea losing their next match ? We could have military coups around Africa because of Chelsea.
See how Chelsea fans on NL are fuming with fury, i'm even scared of saying hello to them for fear of verbal assault.

Just go to many hausa muslim communities in Nigeria and see how they hang posters of Osama in their shops and on the windscreens of public buses. There are even posters of planes crashing into the world trade center readily available in the markets with islamic inscriptions on them glorifying the act. These things happen and the same elite who have conspired to leave 80% of the population in Jigawa, Zamfara, Sokoto, Kano and the remaining hausa states have continued to fund such religious shenanigans as a smoke screen to loot massively from their people. "We want sharia, we want sharia", yet they send their children abroad to school non muslims living fat on looted state funds. Well they say every action has a an opposite reaction and what this boy has done signals that a generation has bought into their trick.

Don't ask me for links cos there are non. This is insider knowledge i am passing and not them them say.
The boy in question used to hang out at NAF club kaduna where a friend of mine who works there said he's usually seen spotting a Chelsea jersey and shouting "sai Chelsea" - translation is Chelsea for ever.
But it seems the recent Chelsea dip seems to have affected him more than was apparent to the naked eyes, poor chap sad

Paroh fre you can keep being defensive but it will take us on where. Do you think the continual rancours between muslims and Christians in Nigeria have had no part in that boy's development ? Incase  you haven't noticed, i live in Kd now though i was born Lagos. When young children are taught to label anything other than theirs as infidels what do you think the end result will be ?
How many hausa muslims do you know see Osama's ways as being antithetical to human co existence ? I see buses in kaduna north area with osama stickers on them and even posters with Osama and planes crashing into the world trade centre put up on walls of hausa muslim shops here, what does that say to the young uma ?

Guy call a spade a spade. The spate of religious riots in Nigeria is worse than that of the rest of West Africa combined. I was an Undergraduate in ABU when up to empty christian girls were murdered at the FCE zaria over student body elections by the locals.
Even now in ABU i don't know if they've resolved the VC problem cos the community is against an akwaibom becoming the VC.
Politics › Re: This Is The Beginning Of Hell For Nigeria And Nigerians by edoyad(m): 6:14pm On Dec 26, 2009
I don't want to sound tribal, but This thing if looked at critically is not only about religion. Don't yoruba people have muslims too ? Fashola, Tinubu and the Jakande family aren't they muslims too ? I dare say almost 1 in 3 of all the yoruba people i know are muslims but how come they're not battling such archaic mind sets.
Hausa people have been using this religion thing to cause us problems for aeons up here. People have travelled to Ghana, Sierra leon and Ivory Coast and have seen how their own muslims behave there. While there are extremists there too, the wider society there is open to development unlike the hausa-muslim community in Nigeria.
We should start telling it how it is .
