Car Talk › Re: What Are The Functions Of The 'd', 'd3', 'd2' And 'd1' Of Automatic Cars by eeby1983(m): 7:43am On Jun 10, 2017 |
Hi guys,
I was involved in an argument with friends yesterday, over the use of the Driving gears of an automatic gearing car.
Different car products have different automatic gearing system. Mine is a Honda Accord 2006 (Discussion continues) model, and the gear system is pictured below.
It has a 'P-park', 'R-reverse', 'N-neutral' 'D-drive' 'D3', 'D2' and 'D1' gears.
The argument relates to the functions of the 'D', 'D3', 'D2', and 'D1' driving gears respectively, and under what circumstances should each one be used?.
So tech guys in the house, it's time to show off your knowledge.
Merci!!! when you drive in 'D' it means you have given the car the will to control the gear (automatic). But in the case of other gear tools like 'D2' 'D3' these functions re designed for emergency scenario, a situation where your gear could not change it self due to electrical or mechanical malfunctioning, all you need to do is to drive the car manually and it has no side effect of on your car. i have done this when my Cherokee jeep 2003 model gear could not possibly select it self automatically. |

redbeans: 1. Tailoring/fashion designing - the rate i see pretty tailors make me wonder if their beautiful nature aids their sewing. I'm bewildered by the fact that all the girls [about 8 of them] working in a tailoring shop near my house are pretty.
2. Hairdressing salon - just like those in no1, when you view the hairdressers, all you see is a slim fine girl with a nice physique. No doubt, God also 'dressed' them well.
3. Eateries/hypermarkets - be it shoprite, A. J fast food, chicken republic, gem stone etc, you will find pretty girls with an 'iboitic' touch. Makes me wonder if beauty is a criteria for getting the job. Hairdressers are very beautiful especially the educated Hairstyles, they make you wanna fall in love when you see them and they are very submissive when you date them but there re some bad ones among them who make the proffession look irritating, even some bankers and movie artist quit their job for this profession |
Family › Re: Should I Expose My Wife's EX? by eeby1983(m): 11:13pm On May 27, 2017 |
missomo: I think you have a very good woman as a wife. Let me tell you why.
Your wife obviously was very close to her ex. It is obvious that the issues she had in the marriage made her confide in someone she thought was a close friend. The fact that he was married too made her more comfortable. Unfortunately, he turned out to be an opportunist. Immediately she discovered he had ulterior motives she backed away and let it be. That's a good woman. People make mistakes and she didn't even commit adultery but fled from it.
She is a bit foolish and immature though but good because she told you. Most women won't ever tell you what happened but because she has a simple mind and an innocent spirit she did.
Poster, can you come out here and say truthfully that you haven't had an extra marital affair since you married her? She probably discovered one or two of your flings and she decided to retaliate during a fight by saying that she went to see a man. She didn't see any man. She came back late because she spent time with a female friend complaining and vowing to teach you a lesson. She said she was with a man simply to prove to you that she too can be found appealing by someone outside. No woman unless she is feeding you will ever admit or flaunt her infidelity to your face.
You should sit down with you wife and in a civil manner tell her what you think she has done wrong. You people should sort it all out in one night and there should be no secrets or secret movements between you two.
Lastly know that there is no perfect marriage. Don't listen to anyone here saying she is a prostitute because you know she isn't and that is why you wifed her. I wish you both the best. this person said it all, your wife is in love with you and she wanted to make you jealous that was why she said all those bad things to you, only that she lack some manners of approach maybe because of her age. Bro just try and wake her up tonight talk sense into her and make good love too, but pls stop those stupid yanch look wey u dey do and concentrate on your wife |

GossipHeart:
The reason is that the zombies no get sense
This is what baffles me
Zombies are dying of hunger
They can't send their children to school
They can't eat 3 square meal
They can't buy fuel
They can feel the dying economy
They can't buy a cup of garri
But they are still strongly supporting Buhari and they are still shouting Sai Baba
Abeg, who knows the native doctor who prepared that juju for Buhari ??
This is why i gave up on Nigerians, we don't care about hunger or the condition of the economy because the President is from our region or tribe
The Northern part of Nigeria has produced 5 Nigerian Presidents but they are still the poorest and the most underdeveloped tribe in the world, they would rather die of hunger than see the presidency leave their tribe
the notherners has peoduce nothing less than 7 president |

Romance › Re: 5 Steps To Keeping The Love Flame Burning This Valentine by eeby1983(m): 11:53am On Feb 11, 2017 |
magazineguy: Valentine is pretty much around the corner and showing love is the primary base of Valentine day. Though I am not a relationship expert, I have highlighted some steps that you can use to keep the flame of love burning in your relationship.
Surprises: nothing says “thinking about you” like springing a good surprise on your partner. It can literally light up a thousand bulbs in their world. The fact that you actually thought it through to send them flowers, gifts, lunch at break time etc when they least expect it goes to show you have them in mind. Surprises show that no matter how crazy your schedule is, you still find time to arrange a thoughtful gesture; and how heart-warming is that?
Date nights: some may argue this is borrowed culture from the West but it doesn’t make it less of a way to keep the flame in your relationship alight. Date night may or may not be weekly depending on your budget/schedule but incorporating it in your relationship will surely do it a whole lot of good. Find time to seclude yourselves from the craziness of work or the chatter of kids and go out to eat a nice meal, watch a nice movie, or even go clubbing. No matter the location, time spent together as a couple is very valuable and endears partners to each other a lot more.
Public Display of Affection (P.D.A): Nigerians will stare at you in an awkward manner, iya-alata will judge you with her eyes, children in their naivety will jeer and close their eyes but it is in your power to not let the reaction from the world deter you from expressing love to your partner publicly. Hand in hand strolls, forehead kisses and stolen kisses, brushing hair off your babe’s face, whispering sweet nonsenses in each other’s ears, compliments, private jokes etc done in public make up some of the ways to display affection publicly. Granted, you may be dating an extremely shy person; it is up to you as the bolder partner to make them comfortable with PDA. No need to go about it forcibly; with more subtle gestures and time, PDA can actually grow on your once shy partner.
Remember important dates: this particularly entails anniversaries and birthdays. It doesn’t just end at remembering, also make effort to do or buy something new and special for them. Days like that come only once in an entire year and remembering shows you care. Unless under very reasonable circumstances, do not forget important dates. They are one of the life wires that keep a relationship going.
Pray: ever seen or heard where something had the Almighty’s backing and it failed? I haven’t and I’m guessing you haven’t as well. The importance of praying for your partner can never be over emphasized. Your partner’s challenges are invariably your challenges and combating them spiritually saves you both a whole lot of stress. Pray, so you don’t fall prey to the antics of the enemy; pray so your love is one that stands the test of time and above all, pray so blessings and joy does not elude you two.

Things are getting increasingly difficult,I jst pity our generations yet unborn coz the future looks bleak. The present leadership has failed us,the next one could be worse. Progressives esp the youths have to quit sitting on the fence and get involved in politics. Also going by gender equality in this age what applies to male should also apply to female folks. i think you re right but to be sincere with you, you can still make it at age 25 if you re determined to, i could remember 2007 when i bought my first car, i was in my 200L at age 26 and i wasn't doing any illegal job, i was into Aluminium fabrication job. |
