eaglechild: Gosh, these neocolonial slaves have come up with this KFC ish again. ketoprofen: how can mere buying foods in a non Yoruba owned eatery a sign of affluence? ![]() You guys are wicked. I think you are arguing with people of lower intellectual capacity. You are literally bullying them. KFC is now a new index for measuring development. ![]() |

whitecat007: Even a toddler would know that its called like that now by some people cos of the movie by robert deniro, morgan freeman among others. Only jobless people like you who basically have nothing else going for them in life would slobber over a "t" that is added to a name whether intentional or by mistake, especially when this is not the first time its spelled and written same way.Why the epistle? You see a picture and the first thing that comes to your mind is "Last Vegas". The picture could have been taken anywhere, looks like you just finished seeing "hangover" and you are coming here to form nonsense. |
Well deserved |
Horrendous call by the linesman! |
Final whistle! |
Swansea you can do it! |
whitecat007: Vegas thing!!!Which one is Last Vegas again? Has the name of Las Vegas been changed? And which kind picture dem dey pay $1000 snap? |
okpara ugo: You guys are not talking from experience that is why you can afford to fight to prove your point.Thank you. Many people here have no real life experience with pythons whatsoever, they just see a picture of a big snake and start spewing thrash. Pythons are non venomous and are not aggressive. They tend to slither away when sighted or just remain still. Often what you need to do is just use a stick and get it out of the way. |
36STATES: I paid top dollars for a safari of a life time in 2005 to visit Kruger National park and Liwonde National park in South Africa and Malawi respectively. Three months later I was back in Nigeria on Chrismas and was shocked to see some rare Nigerian antelopes being displayed dead along the road on my way to Enugu. Ignorance is a disease and most Nairalanders are not exposed and educated enough to understand what your talking about. My goodness! You just said what has been on my mind, each time I pass by those antelopes near Okigwe I cringe at their site knowing that their habitat could have supported even larger predators if harnessed. I also have had that unforgettable Kruger experience. We are just misusing our natural resources. |
FrancisTony: Phew!! Pfft. Those idemili people must be devilish. They hypnotize the snake with their black power and you're here telling me trash. Anybody that's not from that idemili will be bitten by the snake. Lemme tell you something, that satan u atheist/pagan/agnostic etc are worshipping was lucky that the almighty God didn't collect his power from lucifer when he was sent to hell. Better go back to school and learn. Awon olodo! You are extremely ignorant and shallow minded. Pythons are non venomous and are not aggressive. I have used a stick to remove one blocking my gate and let it free into the nearby farm when I wanted to drive out, no biggie. I'm not sure of the specie. But people just come here and spew thrash they know nothing about. |
If you don't know anything about their qualifications then why open a thread in the first place? Peter Obi attended Harvard Business School in case you don't know. |
What took the mods soooo long to make this sticky |
I still cant believe the pictures, disheartening. |
Alfa Seltzer: An Ijaw man accuses a yoruba man of murdering an hausa man. But you just see Igbos everywhere. Igbo derangement syndrome is real.looooooooooooooooooooooooooooool! |
FFK Probably orchestrated the OBJ letter to Jonathan now it has backfired he is crying foul. |
Rexyl: Thanks this really showed that my calculation was accurate when I picked Ibadan to be the next city in the rank, esp going by the population and other economic potentials. Kano/Kaduna should first be cleansed from forces that believe education and modernisation is haram (sin), then we can talk about them. With an airport like this Ibadan just does not qualify. https://www.nairaland.com/1564733/photos-ibadan-airport/2#20403640 |
This one will soon fly to front page. |
I have noticed this bias also , a thread on pics of Ibadan airport was made permanently sticky on travel page 2. Even with all the traffic it generated. How do you make an active topic retrogressively sticky, that beats me. https://www.nairaland.com/1564733/photos-ibadan-airport/2#20403640 |
This is what Imo needs not round abouts and Christmas lights. |
I am 100% certain that I wouldn't be buying any of those cars for any family member. May God punish these government official who would rather have us drive death traps instead of the luxury SUVs which they themselves enjoy. I can bet my last naira that no DG, Perm Sec, Minister, Rep, Senator, or Economic Adviser will buy such a car for official use. Nonsense.
Well no senator, DG etc uses tokumbo cars, what then is the difference. Is it not the car u can afford that you will buy? |
Torn tents for an airport? What is happening? That is very shabby even for a refugee camp. And why is the place so desolate? Is it abandoned? |
miriamP: dullard. Its only in govt hospitals drs are relevant and d reason? Protocols. We are treating the patients based on our own directives as docs are nower to be found and guess what? Dey are doing fine. Go to private hospitals, a nurse can man a hospital without the doc, she can handle any emergency, send for tests , prescribe drugs, treat and discharge ! The doc only makes occassional appearances. Ur relevance in govt hospitals is just out of due process so please wake up from ur slumber, u guys re just ignorant douche bags and ur proud heads are just atomic bombs waiting to xplode till u get some reasoning into ur calcified skulls. U cannot do anything without d members of JOHESU take it or leave it, u can ask my grandma in d village. Even she knows that. You seem to harbour so much hatred for doctors. Your frustration seems to be have a personal undertone. |
Biafrandream, thanks for your comments. I am and have always been afrocentric in my outlook and have never been negative about Africa. Maybe I should have said that the basis of my decision not to fly with Ethiopia Airlines has more to do with distance and nothing more. For instance it would take me 9 hours to fly from London by Ethiopian Airlines to Addis Ababa then wait the connecting flight to Enugu which last for about 5 hours. This is a long journey I would rather opt for a six hour flight from the UK to Abuja or Lagos direct. All I am saying is that we need an airline anchored in Europe that will cater for the thousands of Nigerians who wish to land in Enugu. For example, a Lufthansa flight takes off from London to Frankfurt a flight of less than an hour, then we board the Lufthansa connecting flight to Enugu. So when I mentioned KLM, Air France or Lufthansa this was my viewpoint. In a nutshell the aviation ministry has to look at the thousands if not millions of Nigerians from the East in the diaspora be it Europe, America, Asia or South America who wish to land in Enugu. We can not all fly to Addis Ababa. Give us more options so that we can choose. Cheers
I understand your view point but that is where sacrifice comes in. If people can sacrifice and patronise Ethiopian, the route will be seen as lucrative and more airlines will ply it. Remember their are also millions of southerners flying to the middle east and Asia, who will find Ethiopian an even better option than the European airlines. I am glad u have taken back your statement of Ethiopian airline being not up to par cause that is uninformed. My uncle an expatriate in the Middle east with his family in Enugu could barely hold back his emotions when he landed from Riyadh to Enugu. For him it wasn't just about the convenience of flying straight to his family without the hotel hassles, it was that realization of a dream after so many years from studentship in Europe to grandfather hood. It is a cause worth some sacrifice. |
Where is Jigawa again? |
