How come nobody is shouting eko oni baje?

If I say the truth about Ibadan and food I'll be misunderstood.
I however, cannot forget the disastrous experience I had after eating from a highly rated restaurant by the locals.
I couldn't get over the oily milieu.

All I can say is if you are new to Ibadan, do well to stick to the established food franchises (KFC etc).
Unless you want to have a date with your toilet.

I don't think you can prove that even though it seems Nigerians are perceived as violent.
What disturbs me is that they used Islam as a back up, and I know that not all Muslims are violent.
It may be an intermix of religion, ethnic background and upbringing.
PoliticsRe: Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale found guilty by eeeeeee: 9:26am On Dec 20, 2013
I find it difficult to reconcile the background of the perpetrators and the civil environment they grew up in, with the hideous crime they committed.

I need some Muslims to speak up on this cause I do not believe all Muslims share this terrible point of view.

Rubbish!!!
It is now family matters, it is either you did not read the letter or you have failed to understand it.

She pointed out salient issues on his father's dictatorial and promiscuous tendencies as a president, that completely make it abominable for him OBJ to serve as any form of moral role model.

OBJ should be behind bars.
PoliticsWhat Led Michael Adebolajo And Michael Adebowale To Murder Rigby? by eeeeeee(op): 12:43am On Dec 20, 2013
Their crime was one of shocking brutality. Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale first ran down soldier Lee Rigby in a car, then hacked him to death in a frenzied machete and knife attack.

Confronted with gory closed-circuit TV footage, grueling witness testimony and Adebolajo's own defense that he had "no choice" in Rigby's killing, as he was "a soldier of Allah," the jury took only 90 minutes to convict both defendants of his murder.
Both men converted to Islam after growing up in Christian Nigerian families.

Adebolajo also told jurors he was against British foreign policy but did not believe his Islamic views led him onto the path he had taken.

"Even before I became Muslim, I did not agree with foreign policy," he said, then describing an early memory of watching the Iraq war on television.

"'Operation Shock and Awe' -- I saw it unfold on BBC and CNN what not, and I was disgusted, you know. It was reported as if it was praiseworthy," he said. "I knew that every one of those bombs was killing someone. I was disgusted."

Adebolajo, who is married with six children, said in his police interview, shown in court, that he didn't like blood. He maintained that he posed no threat to civilians, only to the British military because of its actions overseas. He tried to cut Rigby's head off because it was the proper method under Allah, he said.

"It brings me little joy to approach anybody and slay them. Can you believe me? I am not a man who gains enjoyment from watching horror films," he said.

Ngwakwe: Bros, do well to change the topic of this thread to reflect the true story.

Moreover, Michael Adebolajo and Michael Adebowale are not Nigerians (had they won Olympic medals) rather British citizens

If I may ask, which language did they use in Court for them or whatever? Let's stop these tribal obsession and do something meaningful with our lives.
They are British citizens but have Nigerian roots, even the article said so.
That is a minus for our image no matter how you try to downplay it.
They can also choose to represent Nigeria in the olympics.

The level of double standards is baffling.
The topic of this thread once read "British PM condemns Yoruba murderes of UK soilder" which i think was inappropriate.
The mods changed the topic to something totally different but more appropriate.
However, they chose to leave the thread that reads Nigerian from the East.

Well, outside we are all seen as Nigerians, what Adebowale and co did is despicable irrespective of country, tribe or religion.

What fazes me is that this has been headlines on all news network, and whether we like it or not they are seen as Nigerians from their roots.
This smears our international image.
I wonder if this will ever make front page?

coogar: i hope an asteroid collides with the victim if she had lied to ruin idris popoola's life.

so if this is the case, why are you still arguing & exhibiting the traits of a blind bartimaeus?

this is because she waited for another 2 months before reporting. why did it take her such a long time to ascertain if she's räped. a victim of a brutal räpe would have called the cops as soon as she dropped him off - there are humongous holes in her story.....

of course there is stereotyping in the judicial system - whether it's fair or not is another matter entirely. to stand in court, you must have been arrested by cops and they stereotype. black people are stopped & searched 28 times more than their white counterparts.

http://www.theguardian.com/uk/2012/jun/12/police-stop-and-search-black-people

i agree with stereotyping - it makes the job of the security officials easier. if it can be established that a certain group of people are notoriously known to commit a certain type of crime then extra checks should be deployed to deal with this certain group of people.

you have clearly missed the point - this isn't about race. it's the battle of the sexes. any woman can get any man arrested in the UK based on hearsay. he would have spent few months in prison before he can be cleared of any wrongdoing & that is what we are talking about.

how's this exactly a racial issue? do white girls not lie against their fellow caucasian males or did a nigerian student not lie against a fellow nigerian man(cleaner) because she was hoping to get an extension as she failed to meet a coursework deadline?

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1292055/Student-jailed-rape-claim-invented-extension-course-work.html

how can you not relate these false claims to idris? that few have been discovered to have made false claims does not mean many plenty of others have not gotten away with fabricating stories against innocent men. still, you have the hutzpah to question my intelligence on an issue you are clueless about. stupidïty blood platelets surely run in your veins.

the investigation did not manage to prove anything - a woman with a conscience came out of the shadows to defend mide fadayomi - it's nothing to do with police work so you are still a tool!

to get a guilty verdict - they ought to have proven beyond reasonable doubt he was a räpist. however, there are still doubts in the story. it just doesn't add up & that the jury took 4 days to come with a verdict suggested they did a shoddy work or idris popoola's married status worked against him.

you are a consummate rëtard.....
who said rapë isn't about consent? how do you know for sure that consent wasn't given? if she was too drunk to give consent, it's also plausible idris was drunk as well. besides, how do you know for sure it wasn't the victim that initiated the sex act? you have clearly shown your IQ is a single digit!

stop making your own arguments, you village peasant. no one here said all these acts equate to giving consent - what we are saying is inviting him to her pad in the dead of the night clearly suggest they had something going on. whatever happened in the bedroom was her words against his - and since he's a married man cheating on his wife, the odds stacked against him.

you better hide face for yourself - it's not hard to see you suffered horrific sëxual abuses as a little girl. this is why it's so hard for you to trust men who have been accused of räpe. in your deluded parallel universe, an accusation = a guilty verdict!

yes, you lack cognitive reasoning....
since it can be proven women have lied in the past & they stand to gain financial compensation by lying then there's an incentive attached to lying against a bloody immigrant. immigrants are easy targets!

you are a fool.....
i have asked you to show me where i said she lied against him because he didn't pay for her breakfast. this is how people like you lie boldfaced & cook up stories. you are still writing the same bullshyte about breakfast.

you distort facts - you probably lie as a profession & the abuses you suffered as a child has nothing to do with me. direct your angst to the irresponsible father that raised you.

many innocent men have been convicted of räpe in the past. you have to be a cretin to dispute this. this isn't a clear case of räpe - the jury just saw an easy target in idris - it's even worse for him since he's supposed to be married with kids.

your blatant lack of trust in this man is the reason i think you might have been statutorily räped or abused before - there are so many damaged minds like yourself trolling the internet to vent their frustration. i don't know idris from adam but he might be innocent afterall, he was just a bumbling oaf & he's paid dearly for his stupïdity.

now, this is the gray area.
you have stupïdly concluded it was the man that asked the question whether they could have sëx. how do we know it's not the woman that asked idris(who's also drunk) to have sëx with her? can you now see you need to be lobotomised?

ad hominem attacks are reserved for donkey stubborn stark illiterates like yourself who cannot tell their left from their right. you have shown a high degree of stüpidity in this discourse & it must have to do with your troubled childhood. i'm sure if your brother was accused of räpe, you would believe the story without even seeing the evidence.

you are talking to the most logical mind on this forum. i must be brilliant to be arguing against the guilty verdict - you must be cretinous to be swallowing what's been put on your plate by the media!! mörons like you just follow the herd mentality with the inability to think out of the box.

Planes taxi to "take-off and to stop/park" so no one could tell us here that it was moving very slowly.
It does not excuse such failures on the part of those who should ensure such dont happen.

We are talking about "impact" by two planes, here!
What about possible structural damage, aside the obvious and seemingly cosmetic damages that could have occured?

Why cant we learn to do things properly in this country? Why dont we value life at all?
Do you bash your "new" vehicle and then take it for repairs and say "dont worry, its okay, nothing happened"?

Ist this sort of silly thinking/mentality that got our leaders treating us like shyte, when it appears some of us (like you), dont value our lives.
