New moon appears on Wednesday – NASRDA JUNE 16, 2015 : EVEREST AMAEFULE, ABUJA 1 Comment The National Space Research and Development Agency says the new moon is expected to be appear on Wednesday in various cities across the nation. In a statement by Head of Media, Mr. Felix Ale, the agency said the moon would be seen on Wednesday with the first crescent in Abuja appearing at 6.45pm to 7.15pm with sunrise at 6.22am and sunset at 6.42pm. Ale said, “From the far North, Maiduguri’s appearance of first crescent will be between 7.23pm to 7.53pm, with sunrise at 5.57am and sunset at 6.21pm. The visitors took advantage of the ongoing Osun Trade, Investment and Culture Conference to make their intentions known to the governor.

The governor had visited the USA earlier in the year to deliberate on ways of creating an opportunity for the government to market its investment opportunities.

The major areas of the investment include culture and tourism, agriculture, solid mineral and information technology.

At the end of this conference, the foreign investors are expected to hold business meetings with local industrialists and also sign pacts with the state government, all in an effort to improve the economy of the state.

When ASUU were agitating then, they said they wanted more funding for education who did not know that is increase in salary they are asking for.
Stop deceiving poor public.
This issue of more funds for residency trainig has been on ground for long, you want increase in salary(funds)? You want government to be sponsoring your training to abroad, you want government to employ more resident doctors...these are what the fight all about. It doesn't in any sense involve equipping the hospital.
