Hello Nlers, I would like to inquire about the salary scale of International Energy services limited. A friend of mine based in canada is about to land a job with them. A skype interview has been scheduled for him already but he wants to have an idea of the payscale so as to know if its worth leaving canada for. He is doing a menial job over there and he also has hopes of landing a big job there. If he moves to nigeria then his dreams over there would be unattainable. So please wat is the entry level salary and are there appraisals or frequent promotions.

lovelylady: Good luck wih the DNA test. I have an interest in doing one but I am not sure as to how accurate they are. It is unforntuate that we were robbed of our heritage. Everyone else knows their heritage for free and we have to pay to find out what ours is. I spend a lot of time with Nigerians who are Igbo. I feel so connected with them. They tell me that I look like an Igbo girl and they pretty much took me in. I am treated as if I am one of them and they even want me to wear their attire. I attend their events and I have a good time. They are a very friendly and welcoming group of people. Because of where my family is from in the US I know for a fact that I do not have Igbo roots. Even though I do not have ties to igboland I basically adopted it as my ancestral land.
. Welcome to the great igbo family, kekwaanu. Chukwu gozie gi.how is the relationship btw african americans and igbos? I hope it is cool.

Two nigerians ganging up against me to protect an American, imagine two moderators taking sides with a foreign entity to bash a constant forum user. This scenario can be seen in our government today and in many african societies, u guys are blind to his insults to me but hastily rush to condemn me. As for the older American, it will be my pleasure not to engage u again. I rest my case

onila u are just an animal, these are the prevalent stereotypes of africa in the west and u are creating a thread to display the village images. Don't u know this is a public forum and foreigners come here, so the best u can do is reinforce the images in their head. What is the purpose of displaying the biggest slum in africa, what are u promoting by displaying kibera, are u celebrating poverty? Well continue with your foolish ways
TravelRe: Ask Me Any Questions About America, straight Talk from a Nigerian in America by EEngineer1(m): 10:40pm On Oct 12, 2013
@babyosisi, I like the way u are helping people on this thread in a honest and friendly manner but I just have one thing against your initial posts, when u and Emeka were arguing u insulted your country with unverified facts, yes nigeria has issues but one problem all african nations have is a poor international image due to exxagerated stories from the western media and nonchalance from our corrupt leaders but u of all people should know that things are not always as they are portrayed. Making statements like " tribalism is a million times worse than racism", " 85% of nigerians can't eat" doesn't help our international image on a public forum especially when those statements are not verified or just exxagerated. Anyhow more grease to your elbow in your good service, take care sister

dmitroika: I guess it's time to address this issue of 2.2 results and stuff. I'll use myself as an example.
I graduated with a 2.2. But that wouldn't hinder me in anyway. I applied into 3 universities and I've gotten admission from two already since two months ago, the third is yet to reply and I don't even need them to lol. I thinks you guys should focus on how to write a motivation letter, that's almost the most important thing. Believe it or not some people's motivation letter sucks! Even if a guy with a first class writes a poor motivational he wouldn't be considered at all. Your motivational letter sums up everything about your I.Q. After I applied I showed some of my friends studying for their masters in the UK my motivational letter, they all said the same thing- "any school that sees this will definitely give you an admission". And yes they did.
. My guy please list the schools u applied to because it seems most schools use uni-assist for their admission processing .
