This may sound funny but it's somewhat worrisome. Since the beginning of this year, just like a kid anticipating some candy 😂, I always lookout to at least see a new naira note printed in 2026, something I hardly do.

Fortunately, I saw some recently one in 20 naira note and 200 naira notes, I have not seen any other notes especially 1000 naira and 500 naira and we are almost in the middle of the year? 😲 Previous years were not like this at most January ending new notes would have been in circulation throughout in all denominations.


What's happening, is it that the economic downturn has affected the printing of this year's notes or is it the ongoing war in the Middle East as our politicians always allude their inefficiency to.

IMO, why would you be in a relationship with someone when you don't see any future with him/her. Some are in a relationship so that they can belong, while away time, prove a point (e.g getting back at their ex) or for personal gains (which is called friend with benefits).
