Until I see Brock stay home for eight years straight, I won't believe he retired. Retirement, death, injury and forced sacks last only a few days to a year or two in professional wrestling. Undertaker retired some years back. He still performs occasionally for events. Some retire from WWE only to enter the independent circuit. Nothing is real in pro-wrestling. |
Sports › Re: Oba Femi Retires Brock Lesnar From WWE (Video, Pictures) by eepeepook: 5:33pm On Apr 20 |
People don't come here to learn. Don't waste your time. ReacherSaidNoth: What a dull question. That's like asking if people still watch movies or read books.
Something being scripted does not make it less entertaining. And wrestlers undergo serious training to get to that level, even at that they risk life and career ending injuries as some of bumps they take cannot be faked.
So keep shut with this your ignorant comment |

1. He is exaggerating. If he made that much, Nigerian movie producers would not face the cinema. They would drop movies on YouTube and call it a day.
2. If he’s making that much, how much is that Aina guy making from travel videos? How much is Fosudo making from tech videos? Those rank higher due to their educational nature.
3. Like joke, the guy na millionaire if not multimillionaire. Seun used to earn that much until he “got too old” to care about Nairaland. |

Celebrities › Re: Shannon Elizabeth Joins Onlyfans To Show Off 'a More Sexy Side by eepeepook: 11:13am On Apr 17 |
I had to Google her pictures from the movie to remember how she looked 27 years ago. She should keep her account hidden. I don’t need it. This is the same issue plaguing Britney Spears. She wants to appear sexy when way past her prime. canaportal: THIS IS FUTURE
Best known for her breakout role in American Pie, Shannon Elizabeth is stepping into a new phase of her career—one she says is entirely on her own terms. The actress has officially launched an account on OnlyFans, where she plans to reveal what she calls “a more sexy side” of herself while building a closer, more direct relationship with fans.
At 52, Elizabeth describes the move not as a reinvention, but as a correction. For decades, she says, her image and career trajectory were largely shaped by Hollywood executives and public perception. Now, she’s reclaiming that narrative. “I’ve spent my entire career working in Hollywood, where other people controlled the narrative,” she explained, adding that this new chapter is about freedom, authenticity, and creative control.
Interestingly, Elizabeth emphasizes that her real-life personality has often been misunderstood. Despite her reputation as a ‘90s and early-2000s sex symbol, she insists she’s naturally quite modest. Her iconic roles—especially in American Pie—created an image that didn’t fully reflect who she is off-screen. Through OnlyFans, she hopes to bridge that gap by sharing a more personal, playful, and self-directed version of herself.
Her content is expected to include exclusive photos, behind-the-scenes moments, and direct interactions with subscribers—offering a level of access traditional platforms don’t provide. For Elizabeth, that direct-to-fan model is exactly why she believes in the platform’s long-term relevance. “I’m choosing OnlyFans because it allows me to connect directly with my audience… I really do think this is the future,” she said.
The move also comes during a period of personal change. Reports indicate she recently separated from her husband, marking what appears to be both a personal and professional reset.
Elizabeth joins a growing list of celebrities turning to subscription-based platforms not just for income, but for autonomy. In an industry where image has often been tightly managed, her decision reflects a broader shift—one where public figures are increasingly choosing to control their own stories, content, and connection with audiences. |

Family › Re: Why Are The New Generation Couples Divorcing Faster ? by eepeepook: 1:29pm On Apr 16 |
What do you children do with these debates past stroking your egos? I’m beginning to believe these are moderator accounts farming for engagement. The pattern is super obvious now. People of the new generation divorce easily because life is too hard to stick with a wrong choice for a partner. Older generations made mistakes too. Everyone was quick to shame the next person for chickening out of a hellish marriage. Now, everybody is feeling the brunt of bad governance equally. Neighbours and relatives are busy struggling to even look your way if you decide that your spouse is a burden. donmik: I have taken good time to study my street/community and I discovered that the number of divorcees is like 3 out of every 5 adults around me. And they are mostly young individuals of the younger generation.
I would be glad to hear from you on what entails around you and what you infer to be responsible for this happening in the new generation of couples.
Most preferably, divorcees in the house are urged to make more meaningful and helpful contributions to this topic.

1. Not everything should make front page. This report you concocted will hit front page. Before the day ends, another which supports the original report will appear. Before the weekend runs out, we’ll waste twenty topics discussing on the matter while nothing will happen in the real world. 2. It is the police’s job to wrap things up. Online banter from miscreants will result to nothing. timidapsin: A viral post yesterday sparked reactions online after a TikTok account was allegedly linked to one of the kidnappers of UNIJOS student, Jon Arum Azi.
[b]However, in a surprising twist, the X user has now deleted the video where he made those claims.
This development has raised fresh doubts among Nigerians, with many questioning the authenticity of the entire story. Several users have pointed out a lack of clear resemblance between the individual seen in the kidnapping video and the person linked to the TikTok account.
The situation has since sparked calls for caution, as many warn against rushing to conclusions without proper verification, especially given the potential damage to innocent individuals.
As conversations continue online, many Nigerians are now urging authorities to conduct a proper investigation and establish the facts before any final claims are made.
