What you saw is designed to function like that. When bridges are built, there is room given for expansion of the bridge during hot weather that's what that coupling is for. It's called fishplate. It closes when the bridge is hot, and opens when the bridge is cold. TBM thanks for the most amazing story I've read or seen for some time now. Plz when your new phone comes, kindly write a sequel on this story. It's not proper and it can't just end for Darius like that. So many misconception that brought him to the situation he found himself.
