GucciOluwa: I just got admitted into St. Mary’s University with a 2.2. 3.0 CGPA to be precise. The requirement was at least 70% in the last 60hrs.
I read the comments of some gurus here but I kept saying to myself “my case is different” and I trusted God.
I’d say if you can spare the application fee, package your SOP and give it a shot. You never know.
I’m really excited and I look forward to guidance from everyone on my visa application.
Stay safe people, it will end in praise. wow, congrats. Pls what was your specific cgpa? |

Qudkom: you are wrong. i already answered you in the previous posts. use an online converter to convert your cgpa into the Canadian format. Your table is misleading. If I am wrong what do you think is the 3.5/5 equivalent in Canada cgpa on 4 scale. |

Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by efetoski: 10:59pm On May 04, 2020 |
Qudkom: Note that Canada CGPA format is 4.0 and not 5.0 format we use in Nigeria. From this one can conclude that a Nigerian CGPA of 3.5/5 is equivalent to 3.0/4 of Canadian which is a B average. I stand to be corrected |
Travel › Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 17 by efetoski: 9:46pm On May 04, 2020 |
Qudkom: Yes it is possible. Although the admission criteria always state a minimum B average. Some schools are lenient and consider the last 4 semesters but definitely GMAT, work experience et all can always supplement.
P.s: the primary admission requirements will always be considered before any other qualifications and most msc programs have quotas so I guess you understand the drift. what CGPA is considered B average. |

But incase you are not ok with the price you can go for first class since your brain is telling you Australia is very expensive. For me did rather go for 3-stops as far as i know whats in my pocket. Whether first class flight or 5th class we will all arrive there Kindly note that you are paying one way and not to and fro as some of you assumed. Your coming back flight fare will be part of your proof of fund. |

The cost becomes outrageous when you dont book on time. I dont go by people making bookings on the rush hour and coming here to give exorbitant estimates Divino: Bro the person that requested for the breakdown is going to Adelaide. Check well. so for Adelaide, flight quote is not outrageous for that amount. |

Getting a cheaper flight is a function of the earliest time you made your booking mr man. Dont expect to get a cheaper fare when you booking two weeks or a week to when you are going. I wonder the moral upbringing this present era parents are inculcating into our children. Infact, i am really disappointed. This shows the kinds of low thinking and debauched teachers our private schools have. Kids are not met to be exposed to dramas like this. This could have a negative psychological effect of the mindset of these kids. Take a look at kids in foreign channels on Dstv such as Nickeleodon, there you see the level of intelligence and moral dramas those kids are acting. A drama that ought to be rated Age 16 is what kids below 10 years of age are subject to participate. Its high time the activities of these so called private schools ought to be regulated. The drama head teacher will still come out to say he/she is creative. stupid. I read some useless women supporting the idea of the kids acting this drama. These are the kinds of ladies that sit down with their kids at home watching big brother Nigeria and other 18 rated movies. Most of these women are mothers to alot of teenage boys and girls dressing indecently and going into prostitution in out today's society. |

Good news, WAEC has been removed as a perisquisite for WES evaluation. You can go to their website and confirm. It was removed a week ago. I saw this on YouTube and I went to check the site myself. It's true
Let no one extort you on addition of waec verification. |
