Business › Re: John Ekpa: GTB Should Comply With Court Judgement, Pay Innoson Or Risk Takeover by effluxpump(m): 9:14pm On Dec 03, 2021 |
Ayemileto: The case had been decided by the supreme court since 2019.
Even the Fraud case, which GTB filed against him in conjunction with EFCC has gone off radar since that 2019 too.
But I think the reason why Innoson hasn't fought for the Judgement debt is, the longer Innoson waits, the more the money he'll potentially get because the judgement debt keep increasing with 22% interest.
That's why the possibility of him taking over GTB exist. If GTB delays long enough, the debt can/will surpass their capacity, and he can go to court at that point to implement the judgement debt. Vulture is a patient bird... but in all, GTB will never go to Innoson. The both party will come to a compromise. |

UncommonLogic: Russia just trying to prevent the sorts of rubbish that's all over Nigeria and Africa. Business centers they call churches. Rubbish trash. Jehovah's witnesses are interested in people and not their money They help people to examine the bible and find answers to life's big questions like : Why are we here ? Is this life all there is ? Why so much suffering? Will suffering ever end ? Who is God? Is it possible for humans to be close to Go ? And a whole lot of questions that finding the answer will make them form a strong bond with Jehovah ( Jehovah is God's name as revealed in the bible ) They don't pollute there environment with noise They don't solicite funds In obedience to God and the love they have for their neighbors, they search for people who are willing to listen and gain the knowledge that leads to everlasting life. We are peace loving people Even when being persecuted,we remained peaceful in obedience to God when he said: "as far as it depends upon you,be peaceable with all men " |

Politics › Re: Go To The Farm And Earn Respect, Buhari Tells Nigerian Youths by effluxpump(m): 8:29am On May 02, 2018 |
saintol: Mr President, everyone can not be a farmer but some of us can be. There are many graduates who studied agric related courses and some of these graduates really wanna practise what they have studied. But since those that even studied various agric related courses don't even have somewhere to practise, how are we even sure that those who didn't study those agric related courses will even get. Most of the people holding political posts get unnecessary allowances. Instead of the government to first ensure that all the unnecessary allowances are cut such that enough funds can be used to do the necessary things. Or do you want to tell us that there is no money in this country for that? There are arable lands in so many states in this country that can be used for various agricultural practices. You can create a farm settlement programme such that each state can have at least an agricultural produce that it will invest on. Even if you make fund available for agriculture, how many of these graduates will eventually have access to it. The corrupt elements of which most are politician would have shared larger percentage of the fund, thereby diverting the fund to do so many useless things before it even get to them, that is if it gets to them . Imagine a governor naming many hectares of land that could have been used for reasonable agricultural programme "Buhari Estate", and wants to sell a plot of land at very exorbitant price. Did you not commission it? You leaders are our major problem in this country. Once a programme does not add money to your already existing "embezzled money", you leaders will never really support it. But if it will, then you will give it a full support. Majority of you leaders only go after your selfish interest, you hardly have interest of the nation as a whole at heart. Even if the youths want to go into agriculture, how many of them can afford a plot of land or get access to the machines that they will be needed for mechanized farming. So in my opinion, I think you, your governors, ministers and those at the national assembly should sit down and talk some senses into your heads. Don't trust that anything of lasting good Will come out of this govt and any that will come in the future.. When the president assumed office, he promised to stop fuel subsidy by raising the pump price of fuel so that the money for subsidy can be rightly channeled into agric and other developmental projects... Here we are today, he is paying for subsidy while the pump price remains on a high.. No agric development n heavy mechanization. Those that practice on a subsistence level are being decimated on a daily by the rampaging herders either by killing them in the most brutal way or by eating up their labour thereby discouraging them.. Any sincere man that trust that things will be better risk a heart attack... |

The doctors sees the hospital as their shrine ,themselves as the #chiefpriest and other health care workers as passersby... Their apprehension is as a result of fear of loosing their grip/base in the hospital... Remove them from the hospital, they become of little use to the society and to themselves. Health care provision I believe is a collective effort and not just the solo work of the doctores. Like the saying goes, 'success in most endeavors is a team effort and not a solo performance ' They head most organisation,/association that makes decision on health care delivery ,reason why most decision favours them... |

yeyerolling: Through the ages, the African appears to have evolved no organised religious creed, and though some tribes appear to believe in a deity, the religious sense seldom rises above pantheistic animalism and seems more often to take the form of a vague dread of the supernatural. He lacks the power of organisation, and is conspicuously deficient in the management and control alike of men or business. He loves the display of power, but fails to realize its responsibility - he will work hard with a less incentive than most races. He has the courage of the fighting animal, an instinct rather than a moral virtue. In brief, the virtues and defects of his race -type are those of attractive children, whose confidence when it is won is given ungrudgingly as to an older and wiser superior and without envy. Perhaps, the two traits which have impressed me as those most characteristic of the African native are his lack of apprehension and his lack of ability to visualize the future" lord lugard I love the reply.. where did you draw this excerpt from ? will like to know.. |

Okoyiboz3: The enemy of an Igbo man is another Igbo man.
If you go round the threads concerning this church massacre, Igbo posters have blamed everyone but themselves.
They blamed the Fulani herdsmen,
Blamed the Police for not arresting the perpetrators before shooting,
Blamed the Yorubas and called us interlopers,
Blamed the Anambra Governor saying he killed the worshippers because they booed him,
Blamed the Governor's opponents claiming the opponents want to make Obiano look culpable,
Blamed the press for putting the pictures online,.
Blamed Nairaland moderators for pushing a thread that makes Igbos look bad to the front page.
They've blamed everyone but themselves and refused to tell themselves the truth. It is because of things like this that Igbo sons and daughters have refused to come back to the East.
Igbos need to stop glorifying questionable wealth and stop promoting the 'get rich or die trying' mentality.
The number of Igbos facing death sentences in Asian prisons is more than the number of worshippers killed today.
Igbo elders should begin the process of promoting legitimate wealth and entrepreneurs with verifiable means of livelihood and not shady millionaires with no history of hard work. Which region are most known to acquire legitimate wealth in Nigeria! |
