It didn't begin now. They had to totally clean out the 16+ years abandoned files dumped to rot in their office by PDP governments of the past and then compute it.

Right now all pensioners data has been computerized for easy disbursement and given them enablement to easily trace discrepancies.

Follow your mind and continue savings. Nigeria that inflation is eating up savings daily. I know graduates that earn as low as N30k monthly, I mean university graduate, while others earn 150k, 500k, ,750k, 1m monthly etc. We all have different taste and outlook to life. I have seen people whp earn 500k relocate to America and canada. It is your choice, ok. That your 250k monthly is change if you dont know, go to developed countries and see how people live normal life.In Nigeria, even the rich is still suffering. No constant light, no security, no good road, no good medicare, no good leadership, generator noise daily.....kidnapping and robbering, etc.
The choice is yours, is your life.
Guy I don't earn 250k but that's a lot of money for a fresh graduate and even a family man with one child.
Kai 250k nigerians are funny people
Bring your expenses here let's do the maths forget about drinks parties women etc just bring food, clothes and housing that's what a young man needs at the beginning of his life so he can save and invest so he can start earning extras for vacation drinks and parties.

Well to some people 250k is bullshit but to me o that's big money big big money I can marry and have a child with that income and be happy
See I dint start life with that income but bro I MANAGED and pushing every income into investment this is 12 years later I m settled now I can drink plenty expensive drinks go partying and live a comfortable life but I suffered in this lagos after school it's in the past now
You can have happiness anywhere on this earth
Well my saying if Nigeria no pay you please leave for greener pasture no one deserve to suffer the earth belongs to us all

If god is infinite as you postulated. Then the question is what has he been doing during the timeframe of infinitum that he only woke up from his slumber and finally realise his loneliness and his need to create the universe and its components and then create earth and its inhabitants. If he only realised this need of his only less than 7000yrs ago according to biblical records of the age of earth existence. The n he simply ain't infinite as you claim or he's just an idle personality with lots of personality issues and clueless too
Wooow Wooow Wooow this really got to me I have been thinking about this eternal thing for a while now you just helped me out you are brilliant

People should feel try to travel and check out for opportunities in other plsces too..
A proverb said "you cannot stay in a particular place to watch dance well"
America is way better any day any time, naira has no value. What is 250k monthly for God sake if you have three children in universities and you have to feed them, clothe them, pay school fees, pay house rent, maintain your tokunbor car, etc.

People who are in their late forties are even relocating, though the younger the better.
I don't understand 250k must you have 3 children 1 my dear is good for that income pls take out 50k for your rent that's 600k you can get 600k 2 bedroom in an estate in ikeja good road use the 200k well and you will be fine
You guys want to live very big and careless in Nigeria but when you get to usa you want to live modest why don't you live the same life here and see how much you can save for other projects
I live in Nigeria I am fortunate to have a good income but I live very modest but still have the basic amenities of life 247 light water etc I have saved a lot to be able to do things
I can't imagine being paid 250k as a banker and leave for usa illegally to be nobody...my opinion sha o

Well I believe if you are not earning above 150k and you have the opportunity to leave Nigeria at a good age pls go you have nothing to loose the earth belongs to us all

I took my time to read the whole thread. The impression delivered here from US-based Nigerians is that they have it all good, then who are the Nigerians that are actually illegals and suffering there?

Does that mean that Nigerians are immune to the inescapable challenges immigrant faces? I live in the Netherlands and I can tell you absolutely that MOST Nigerians here don't have it good. The contention of this thread is not to feel better than everyone but, to tell the truth how it really is, doesn't kill you at all.

No matter how bad you are, you still have to feel sorry for THT80 though.
From his posts you can tell he has been lurking in the shadows all this while reading Nairaland as a guest or with an alternative account. Gently penning down his thoughts and refining them. Putting the right words and grammar at the right places and beautifying it with a cosmetic of word salad.

He had carefully selected what he considers the strongest intellectual sections on Nairaland; the religious section and the literature section. He is going to force his intelligence on them and Nairaland will know of the rising of a genius. And for good measure he decided to add the romance section too. Surely those bimbos there will swoon at the sight of his English and trip over themselves as they flock to him. Easy pickings. Finally he was going to have his big moment.

He was going to prove to himself he was truly intelligent even though the events in his life seem to show otherwise. People he considers inferior are doing better in life yet he himself, for all his intelligence, has nothing to show and was beginning to look like a joke. The intelligence must count for something. He must feel in control again. Nairaland will be a good place to start.

Sadly it was not to be so. Now everything has backfired spectacularly. Turns out them bimbos aren't as gullible as he thought. What was supposed to be very easy turned out to be very hard. Now he is being shred by little girls in the romance section, mauled by the inferior writers in the literature section and sodomised by atheists in the religious section. This is not how it was all supposed to go.

This was supposed to be a triumph. Now he his even worse off than before he opened this account. Even less self-esteem, no triumph, no groupies, no nothing. All he has now is only shame, more enemies........and the giant bag of dicks he is being forced to suck on.

The two suspects who were allegedly put under a spell for stealing a car

It was just a chain when he started dancing, but it grew into a snake as we watched- Witness
Police dismissed the incident a marketing gimmick stage-managed by the witchdoctor
The spectacular drama involving a witchdoctor, two naked men and a beautiful woman could have been a charade.

Abdalla Taichi, a witchdoctor from Uganda brought Mombasa to a standstill by using his juju to recover a stolen car from two carjackers, who gave curious pedestrians a butt-naked performance by the roadside.

Bizarre: Two suspected car thieves strip naked, dance with snakes in Mombasa
According to the Kisauni OCPD Christoper Rotich, the whole thing was stage-managed as a marketing gimmick for the witchdoctor. Police have arrested the witchdoctor, the two alleged car thieves and the woman who claimed her car was stolen.

“We arrested four individuals, including the lady who was claiming that her vehicle had been stolen,” the OCPD told The Nairobian on phone.

According to the police, the four are part of a gang deceiving the public with ‘fake powers’ in an attempt to con them of their hard-earned cash.

“That car was never reported as stolen contrary to reports in the media,” the police boss said. The gang will further be charged with handling an endangered species without the requisite certification. The Nairobian has established that the snake the two ‘suspects’ were dancing with has since been put under the care of KWS personnel.

“No one should believe that the car keys turned into a snake,” said the OCPD.

Some witnesses however, claim the snake wasn’t there when the two went berserk. “It was just a chain when he started (to dance), but it grew into a snake as we watched,” said one onlooker.

Christopher Mwalii, a boda boda operator outside Masters Club recalls that the carjackers looked as if they were mentally ill when they started dancing and smearing their bodies with mud.

Mganga Taichi, the man behind the spectacle, told The Nairobian that he used his powers to lure the carjackers to Bamburi where he unleashed his juju on them.

The two suspects alight from a police vehicle. Owner of the stolen car Catherine Omoth(inset)
“I set my trap well and was only alerted after the two started their public misdemeanour,” claimed Taichi, who had been contracted by a woman who has since been identified as Catherine Omokh. Apparently, the woman’s car had been stolen.

“I assured her she would get her car back and got busy working on her case as soon as she paid a deposit,” he said.

After they were arrested and taken to the police station, Taichi fetched them and directed that they be taken to his compound which also doubles as his clinic for cleansing rituals.

Once inside his compound, Taichi made incantations and used his flywhisk on the carjackers who were by then dressed in their muddied trousers.

He then chopped the head of a cock and as the bird flapped about and finally died, he declared that the spirits had been released and the men were free. Catherine said she would not press charges, arguing that, “As long as I recover the Sh100,000 I had paid daktari, I believe they have suffered for their crime.”

Just saw this comment you made and I almost died laughing. You actually do sound like a toddler based on inaccurate data and your examples that are not based on any facts whatsoever.

$3,000 in savingshuh What the hell is $3,000? How one earth did you come up with your impoverished sample size? The fact that your loved ones or the Americans you know have <$3,000 in savings is your unique sad situation my friend. Please for the love of God, stop generalizing!!!

SEVERAL Americans and immigrants (including Nigerians) have a lot more than $3,000 in savings.
Oooooh that's the way I died laughing when you guys too think that we don't earn 150k in Nigeria

What's 150k I laugh there are people that have never earned less than 400k in Nigeria years of working and it's been steady

You see we can keep arguing round and round because you guys in abroad will keep painting it with only the good side and covering the bad sides and we in Nigeria will do the same too.

But there are really people having it well in Nigeria
I'm in Nigeria and I'm happy very happy for that matter......it's simple build your own world and enjoy it.

A minimum wage guy in new York is a poor man so is a minimum wage guy in Nigeria

Nigeriadondie.....you earn 750000 in abroad but your house rent and other things cost you 800000 if you have to live well so you result to borrowing is that one life.

If you earn 10% of that amount in Nigeria you can get by bro

Nigeriasondie...... well you are passing a message we know but don't think everyone that is in Nigeria is here because we don't have opportunity of going out there are still people that go abroad for holidays and come back..... I don't think pidgin2 is saying Nigeria is better than abroad I think she's not just happy with the kind of life some Africans are living abroad.

To me o I don't believe if you are doing well in Nigeria you should just hop and leave to uncertainty all because of social amenities.

If you are in Nigeria and you are finding it well you know where your next YEARS meals will come from and you have an OK accommodation which is yours and you have clothes to wear you have no business abroad visiting should be your business
But if Nigeria hard for you please find your way for a better life this earth is for all of us no one deserves to suffer
