I am new to this NL and will like to thank Delta007 and every body that has contributed immensely to this forum.I took time to start from forum 1 to 3.If i had known of this trend since 2007, i guess my application could have been a success.I applied for a study permit but was denied visa three(3)consecutive times in 2007,2008 and 2009 with reasons that I am not a bonafide student and no evidence of coming back home .
I have never been invited for medicals talk less of interview but after going through the forum, I learnt my mistakes.

1)In 2007 when i got my OND in computer science(upper credit),I was 23 applying for undergraduate program at the university of lethbridge, my TRV package contained the following:
a)TOEFL score of 540
b)Sponsors dox(Certificate of Incorporation,tax clearance(photocopies but certified in high court) and bank statement(1.5 m))the sponsor was a distance relative with different surname.
c)WAEC cert and OND statement(no transcript included)
d)police clearance which was sent back to me with the denial

I was denied of reasons of no sufficient fund,no evidence of coming back home and not a bonafide student.

In 2008, i resent my application for an undergraduate program to CDHC and my package included:
a)TOEFL score 540(the same as the first one)
b) OND statement of result(no transcript included)
c)WAEC cert(no scratch card included),SS1-SS3 transcript
d)Sponsors dox(different from the first one but distant uncle)which includes statement(company account of over 20million),certificate of incorporation,tax clearance,land dox(all in photocopies but certified in court as he will not release his originals),affidavit of sponsorship and a personal letter from him addressing to CDHC of his willingness to sponsor my education.
e)police clearance which was returned to me with the denial after 2months in CDHC.
f) conditional admission letter; that I will do the english program as my TOEFL score was below 550
I was denied that I am not a bonafide student and no evidence of coming back home

In 2009 being the third time,I sent all the above mentioned dox but this time around,the statement of account was rough as my sponsor travel to china at the time of application so He told me to use the one used in auditing of his monthly expenses and income.The application was denied with reasons that i had no sufficient fund,not a bonafide student and no evidence of coming back home but this time the police clearance was collected and the letter written by my sponsor was collected with the photocopy of the admission letter and I almost gave up my dreams.

A friend from UK called me and encouraged me to re apply that the TRV to canada is easy now compared to other years and after surfing their webpage I discovered so.I am currently 28 years old,finished youth service with HND(lower credit) in computer science and want TO reapply and after going through this forum I have decided to put the following

a) Admission letter from University of Lethbridge to study Post Diploma BSC in computer science(an alternative to PGD)but a conditional admission that I will undergo an English session before the start of my program for three months with reseason that my past TOEFL score was not up to 550.the offer is with me now.
b) OND statement and transcript(upper credit)
c) HND statement and transcript(lower credit)
d) WAEC and NECO cert with scratch cards,SS1-SS3 transcript.
e) Online certificates from Sweden(malmo university--programming with c# and Vb;basic course)with transcripts
f) Online certificates from Sweden(Lulea university of technology-Intelligent Technology :Computation and the brain;Intelligent technology:Cognitive science)with transcripts.
g) Online certificates from Sweden(Umea University of technology: social software and web 2.0)with transcripts
h) Sponsors statement of account currently with balance of over 35million,photocopies of business registrations,tax clearance(photocopies)and letter showing his willingness to sponsor my education.
i) Sponsors son.(Statement of account with over 5 million and letter showing his willingness in aiding his father take care of my bills)
j) Personal bank statement with 750k as i am self employed servicing computers and writing customized programs for clients.
k) Statement of purpose in academic pursuit.
l) police clearance.
m) My mums registration of birth bearing the surname of my sponsor.

To avoid the issue of no evidence of coming back home, my dad registered a company in 2001 and I was one of the directors so I will include the original Certificate of Incorporation with Articles of memorandum(originals) where my name is the third director and I am the one managing it now as I am using the office to do my work,service computers and write programs for clients.

Please I need advice from members of this forum to advise me more on what to do to my application kit to get visa.The school start date is on may 2013.

Thanks, am heading to the immigration office for my intl passport today, others should follow, but am I suppose to get the Canadian visa application form now or when I get the school admission letter? Please how long is the process of getting the admission letter and is it done electronically via email or will it be sent to my residential address?? God bless

Which I paid a fee of 95dols, don't want the money to go in vain please I just need direction so not to make any mistake, I hope to do this myself without using any agent. I submitted on the 20th of april.it got to CDHC on the 23rd of april, did my medicals on d 30th of july,returned my passport and the two additional doc CDHC requested for on the 14th of august to their office,tracked my application on the 17th of august only to see my portal has being updated and it has gotten to vac since 16th,when I got my passport fron CDHC d visa date starts from 15th,which means my visa was granted just a day after I returned my passport to CDHC. The Lord be Praised.

Blackmontana: Hello people!Just tracked my page on the VAC portal now and it reads: "Your application has been assessed by the Canadian High Commission/Consulate General of Canada and is being returned to the centre where you applied." I had my medicals on 31st of July-exactly 3 weeks; and submitted requested document on the 10th of August.I think CDHC is reverting too soon.*sigh*

ebugirl: I concur. I dnt think photocopies r acceptable. Infact, my skool insisted that it must b in a sealed envelope and signed across.

ogbeche77: Are you sure one can just make photocopies of transcripts and just send to schools in Canada? I think that information is wrong, universities in canada insist on a sealed original transcript, even sent by the issuing institution themselves... Pls can anyone verify this statement ?

2 I went to one study abroad agent n I was told that I'll av to present a toefl test score @ d embassy...ow tru is dat?

3 I entered the university tru direct entry, can i ask my school to include a photocopy of my polytechnic transcript wit my university transcript since dey already av a copy wit them. Or i should apply for new transcript frm d poly.

4 I wish to apply to 2 or 3 schools which means I av to prepare 3 transcripts and that would cost me a lot of money cos my school charge 15k per copy excluding the courier service which is 7k....kindly advice me on how to go abt it


5. My school is very far from where i reside. Can i write the reference letter by myself on my lecturer's behalf?
