shayi12: i have been following this post for a while now nd just thought ild add ma own little advice.some of us are adding tax clearance reciepts/certificate. however we 4get that we have delcared our assest and money either in bank statements,bonds,shares etc worth over millions of naira and yet in the tax certificate it shows that we paid prolly 1% of a proposed amount which is not our actual value.this is called tax evasion and according to my agent, the embassy can refuse you visa because of this(due to inconsistent monetary values) hence according to my agent, the best way to avoid this is not to include the tax reciept/certificate. hope this helps... cheers!!!

@earthgreener in my own opinion u are good to go with the figures, but just write tht they are both single.

earthgreeners: Bros, I don dey near submission...I shld submit my application by 7th or 10th June...I know I'm late, but I think it's worth throwing the dice...I beleive if my application is tite enough. The worst CDHC can do is to tell me to come with a new date...

My point of doubt here is:

I gat a co-sponsor who works in a Bank + av just 800,000 in his account..annual income of 8,500,000 (Single)....

My main sponsor is also my brother (self employed) with about 4M....Married (1child)

Hope its okay adding dis co-sponsor with dat balance

Another thing wey dey give me going concern is that, I am one of the directors in my bros company, and I still want to submit employment letter, payslip plus introduction letter from the company. I got confused when I saw the differences, plus UK vocations, I really felt it was not geniune. Now that you have come up with better way to present ur case, i think u should stick to what Kenniy have enlisted. The tax clearance should be ur company tax clearance certificate not yours.

dintexventures2: pls why there are some variations in my monthly salary is this,the company pay upfront every six months and when you subtract it from 350k you will get 250k.And also my wife earn 155k although 180k in the payslip but when you minus some fractions you will land at 155k.Just realised that.I am as sincere as ever.I really thank you for calling for such observations it shows some sharp and intelligent guys are here ready to help.

please i want canada's conference and not uk.Both the company has two options-canada and uk and both do exactly same conference on electricals.
Apart from the mentioned documents kenny mentioned,is there any other document they will ask.My company deducts my tax directly before lumping the rest into my account.so to be honest they have not given us any tax clearance certificate since i joined the company.

Why the differences in ur earnings and ur wife's own, formally ur wife was earning 180k. Per month now 155k per month and urs did not correspond either. If u are sincere just do what @Kenny said surely u will attend ur conference.

Not a bad place to be, but if you are coming from Lagos and you are an up and going individual, you will have to adjust to a quiet lifestyle cos not as busy as you might have been used to, however, coming for schooling - it could be a good thing for you then, cos you will have enough time to read and study.
Employment? I am not so sure of what kinda opportunity are there for you, but you should be fine to find something to hold body together, but will advice that you come with enuf money to take care of you - just in case.
Cost of living: It is not as high as in Toronto, but not as cheap as a bush either

surecan: yes you cant apply directly to them without maple,i did send my documents to them they redirected me to maple that they are their representative in Nigeria

. Am a prospective student of Lambton college, you can only apply via their representative here in Nigeria, if you wish to do that I suggest u visit Maple education.
